Abstract

The negative impact of Illegal Gold Mining / IGM on the environmental sector in Batang Asai District, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi was investigated through a descriptive qualitative method. The purpose of this study was to determine the negative impact of IGM activities to several ecosystems, the effect of IGM on community activities, and some efforts to reduce IGM. The instruments of data collection included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analysed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed that IGM activity had a negative impact on the environment namely noise pollution, dust, degradation on the quality of Batang Asai River, forest conversion, river siltation, the emergence of large holes, overburden, soil abrasion, the disappearance of Meranti plants (Shorea sp. ) and Damar (Agathis Damara). Besides that, other impacts were the declining population of Semah Fish (Tor sp.) which had become the special characteristic of fish in the area. Some efforts were made by the government to overcome and foster IGM activities, e.g. by providing counselling and sanctions in a judicial and non-judicial manner that was carried out continuously.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki cadangan minyak bumi potensial yang cukup banyak, salah satunya terdapat pada Pulau Kalimantan. Pada bagain barat pulau ini memiliki cekungan besar, yakni Cekungan Melawi dan Cekungan Ketungau. Kedua cekungan ini diperkirakan berumur pra-tersier. Tetapi, kedua cekungan ini tidak memiliki potensi ekonomis untuk migas konvensional, dan diperkirakan ada satu cekungan lain yang beumur sama dengan kedua cekungan ini. Cekungan ini dikenal sebagai Cekungan Singkawang. Cekungan ini diperkirakan memiliki sistem petroleum yang tersusun dari formasi Batupasir Kayan, Formasi Pendawan, Formasi Brandung, Kelompok Bengkayang serta Formasi Seminis. Untuk menganalisis struktur ini, digunakan metode magnetotellurik dan audio-magnetotellurik yang memanfaatkan medan elektomagnetik alam. Data yang diperoleh dari kedua metode ini masing-masing terdiri dari 14 titik dengan 2 lintasan. Lintasan pertama terdiri dari 10 stasiun pengukuran dan lintasan kedua dengan 5 titik pengukuran. Data ini merupakan data yang didapatkan dari rentang frekuensi 320 – 0,00034 Hz  untuk metode magnetotellurik dan 3,3 – 10400 Hz untuk metode audio-magnetotellurik. Berdasarkan kedua metode ini, diperoleh lapisan dengan nilai resistivitas dengan rentang 4 – 54 Ωm yang diperkirakan sebagai Kelompok Bengakayang yang berpotensi sebagai batuan sumber (source rock). Sedangkan lapisan dengan nilai resistivitas 119 – 437 Ωm  diperkirakan sebagai Vulkanik Raya dan 1611 – 3532 Ωm sebagai Granodiorit Mensibau. Kedua formasi ini diperkirakan sebagai batuan reservoir (reservoir rock), meskipun untuk penentuan jenis batuan ini sebagai batuan reservoir harus diteliti lebih lanjut lagi.Indonesia has lot of potential of reserved crude oil, one of the region has a lot reserved is Borneo Island. In this island, there are two huge basin located in the west, there are Melawi Basin and Ketungau Basin. Both of the basin approximately pre-tertiary aged. But both of the basin has not economic potential for conventional oil and gas, and probably there is other basin that has similar age with these basin. The name of the basin is Singkawang Basin. This basin predicted has petroleum system consists of Batupasir Kayan, Formasi Pedawan, Formasi Brandung, Kelompok Bengkayang, and Formasi Seminis. Magnetotelluric and audio-magnetotelluric method use to analyze this system. These method using natural electromagnetic field. Data obtained from this measurement consists of 14 measuring station with 2 line. First line consist 10 measuring station and second one consist 5 measuring station. This data also obtained from frequency range 320 – 0,00034 Hz for magnetotelluric method and 3,3 - 10400 Hz for audio-magnetotelluric method. Based these result, show that structure with resistivity value beetwen 4 – 54 Ωm predicted as Kelompok Bengkayang potentially to be source rock, while the layer with resistivity 19 – 437 Ωm predicted as Vulkanik Raya and 1611 – 3532 Ωm predicted as Granodiorit Mensibau. Both of the formation potentially as reservoir rock, although to determine the information of this formation as reservoir rock must be researched further.Keywords:  Petroleum system; Singkawang Basin; Magnetotellurics; and Audio-magnetotellurics

Abstract

Abstract. A continuous time-series of certain hydrographical data, such as water levels, is required for various purposes such as time series analysis to study system behaviour and to perform predictions. However, due to some technical failure or natural obstacles, disruptions of measurements may occur. Data gap filling technique is then required to obtain a reliable reconstructed continuous time-series. Linear regression is an example of the simplest technique in data gap filling for parameters that can be linearized. Most of hydrographical data, however, are highly non-linear. Therefore a more advanced techniques are required to complete the missing data. This paper discusses the application of data mining technique in obtaining a continuous water level data using the M5 model tree. The main idea of the M5 model tree machine-learning technique is that the algorithm splits the parameter space into subspaces and then builds a linear regression model for each subspaces. Therefore, the resulting model can be regarded as a modular model. This technique was applied to reconstruct a disrupted water level record of the Mahakam Delta, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. A datasets obtained during a measurement campaign in 2008-2009 were split into the training and validation sets. The model was trained using the three-hourly water level data from the Delta Apex and Tenggarong measurement stations. Water level records show the semi-diurnal character of tides in the region, and that the tides are still dominant in the upstream area at the Tenggarong station located about 40 km from the Delta Apex. Four previous time-step data from the Tenggarong station were included as input to the model to cover the time lag of tide propagation between the two stations. Nash–Sutcliffe coefficient of Efficiency were used to evaluate the model. Nine model rules (using smoothed linear models) were obtained from the training of the M5 model tree, which are executed sequentially until suitable conditions are matched. Validation shows that M5 model tree can satisfactorily be applied as an alternative tool for water level data gap filling in the tide dominated region. Keyword: data mining, hydrographical data, water levels, time-series

Abstract

The existence of Chicken Slaughtering Bussiness (CSB) being located in the middle of the settlement makes people disturbed the comfort of waste generated such as smell, sewage, vector  to the people who live around the CSB in Urban Village East Bara-Baraya. The purpose of this research is to know the description of environmental  sanitation of Chicken Slaughtering Bussiness with disturbance of comfort, in Urban Village East Bara-Baraya District of Makassar city. The method of this research is descriptive with observation approach to see description between disturbance of comfort, smell, liquid waste, and  vector. The number of samples in this study was 42 samples. The results showed that most of the CSB in Urban Village East Bara-Baraya caused an unpleasant smell that made the community around the slaughterhouse feel uncomfortable. Waste disposal from cutting process is thrown away to drainage channel causing unpleasant odour which makes the society of Urban Village East Bara-Baraya disturbed comfort. There is a vector around the dumpster and sewerage channel of Chicken Slaughtering Bussiness that makes the transmission of seeds of disease to the community around CSB so that often family members affected by diseases such as diarrhoea, fever and wormy in children. Suggestions  for  the research  are  suggested to CSB owners to maintain the cleanliness of chicken coop and throw away the remaining processed chicken away from community settlements in order not to cause odour. The need for the government to issue a policy on the prohibition of disposing waste chicken processed waste into sewerage channels around the community environment of Urban Village  East Bara-Baraya. It is expected that health workers to provide counselling on how to prevent the occurrence of infectious diseases caused by existing  vectors in the community of Urban Village East Bara-Baraya. Keywords: Chicken Slaughtering Bussiness, Sanitation and Vektor

Abstract

Self-esteem is an important component and should be present in a child. With the self-esteem in children, the spirit of enthusiasm and self motivation in children will present itself. Improve self-esteem in children ought to be used as an early reflection of the parents, because many things can happen when children feel powerless or inferior. In addition to the family, school is the child's immediate environment. For that schools have to provide personal guidance programs, social services are administered by the guidance and counseling program. School elements are closely associated with the development of self-esteem of children is especially homeroom teacher. Given the importance of self-esteem in the optimization of child development, for it in this article will be described in detail discussion on the matter.

Abstract

Pembukaan Unit Layanan Pendidikan Bimbingan dan Konseling bagi paramahasiswa adalah bahagian besar dalam mengembangkan karir dan menyelesaikanmasalah para mahasiswa serta mencegah terjadinya masalah. Setiap manusia pastimelakukan Proses, karena Proses adalah bagian yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan.Tanpa adanya Proses penyampaian pesan yang berasal dari pikiran dan hati tidakakan tersampaikan, tetapi sebaliknya dengan adanya Proses pesan yang ada di dalampikiran dan hati dapat tersampaikan, sehingga menimbulkan kesamaan makna dan tujuantercapai dengan baik. Begitu juga upaya Proses konselor dalam menyelesaikan masalahkonseli. Oleh karena itu Proses konseling dapat menjadi suatu kajian yang sangat pentinguntuk diteliti.Program kegiatan organisasi kemahasiswaan di UIN Jambi mencakup aspekkegiatan, yaitu: Bidang Keagamaan. Kegiatan keagamaan dimaksud untuk meningkatkanketaqwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa di samping menyiarkan agama. Kegiatantersebut meliputi antara lain Peringatan Hari-hari Besar Islam, kegiatan keagamaanberbentuk upacara/peringatan, ceramah, penataran, baik bersifat internasional, nasional,regional maupun lokal. Bidang Penalaran dan Idealisme. Kegiatan penalaran ini dimaksuddapat meningkatkan dan mengembangkan daua penalaran untuk menunjang prosesterbentuknya sikap ilmiah, kreatifitas dan sikap profesional serta menambah pendalamandan perluasan keislaman. Kegiatan ini meliputi diskusi ilmiah, seminar, simposium,lokakarya, baik yang bersifat internasional, nasional, regional/ institut maupun lokal/fakultas.Bidang Kepemimpinan dan Loyalitas teherhadap Almamater, Agama, Bangsadan Negara. Kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilanserta membentuk sikap kepribadian dan kepemimpinan, sehingga pada akhirnya nantidiharapkan dapat menjadi pemimpin yang baik sesuai dengan ajaran Islam dan Pancasila.Kegiatan ini meliputi antara lain Pelatihan Kepemimpinan mahasiswa baik tingkatnasional (PKM Nasional), PKM tingkat menengah (Institut) dan PKM tingkat dasar(Fakultas). Abstract

Ketangguhan baja tahan karat AISI 321 dan AISI 405 baik sebelum maupun sesudahdipanaskan pada suhu 540 °C untuk waktu 24 jam dipelajari dalam penelitian ini.Beberapa pengujian yang dilakukan pada kedua baja tahan karat adalah uji metalografi,uji kekerasan mikro, uji impak dan uji fraktografi. Hasil uji metalografi menunjukkanstruktur mikro baja AISI 321 disusun oleh fasa besi- (austenit), sedangkan baja AISI405 disusun oleh fasa besi- (ferit). Kekerasan rata-rata baja AISI 321 sekitar 196,9 HVdan baja AISI 405 mempunyai kekerasan rata-rata sekitar 190,3 HV. Berdasarkan hasiluji impak, baja AISI 321 cenderung lebih tangguh dibandingkan baja AISI 405 terutamapada suhu rendah. Sedangkan baja AISI 405 mempunyai ketangguhan yang lebih baikpada suhu tinggi bila dibandingkan baja AISI 321. Bentuk patahan baja AISI 321 berupashallow dimple dan bentuk patahan baja AISI 405 berupa equiaxed dimple.AbstractToughness of AISI 321 and AISI 405 stainless steels either before or after heated at 540oCfor time of 24 hours was exam ined in this study. Some testings which conducted to bothstainless steels were metallography, micro hardness test, impact test and farctography.Metallography shown that the microstructure of the AISI 321 was composed by -Fe(austenite) phase, while the AISI 405 was composed by -Fe (ferrite). Hardness avaragewas about 196,9 HV for the AISI 321 and 190,3 HV for the AISI 405. Based on the impacttest, the AISI 321 tend to be more toughness than the AISI 405 at low temperature. Whileat high temperature, the AISI 405 had better thoughness than the AISI 321. Fracture ofthe AISI 321 was found as shallow dimple and the AISI 405 had equaxed dimple in itsfacture.

Abstract

Research are what is the form of interference Kailinese into Indonesian at General Election Commissions, Sigi regency? And what are the causes of interference Kailinese into Indonesian?. The type of research is qualitative by using descriptive method, recording technique, field notes, observation and interview. Data analysis technique used interactive analysis. The interference of Kailinesse into Indonesian in General Election Commissions involved form and factor causing interference. Researcher found the distribution of interfeence in the field of phonology, morphology, and syntax. Interference phonological forms found additional vocal phoneme /a/i/u/e/o/ at the end of the word, it called the language vocalist and busting phoneme /h/ at the beginning of the word and at the end of the word also have disappearance phoneme /k/p/t/n/ and replacement of the vocal phoneme /e/ to phoneme /a/ and phoneme /i/ to phoneme /e/ in the middle of the word. Inteference morphology include the prefix {mo-} compatible with prefix {ber-} in Indonesia, suffix {i-} compatible woth suffix {kan-} in Indonesian, whereas interference syntactic has found the use of clauses in sentences that deviate from the structure of Indonesian rule. Moreover, factors that affect the occurrence of interference, namely; (1) background speakers, (2) lack of vocabulary, (3) less skillful use of language, (4) the prestige of the source language, and (5) because of habits in the mother tongue.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to implement a program to increase the use of vasectomy contraception, to identify the implementation of vasectomy contraceptive services and to know the role and function of stakeholders in the implementation of vasectomy contraceptive use policies. This research was conducted through a qualitative research with a descriptive approach conducted in Tanjung Morawa Sub-District, Deli Serdang Regency. The research informants were determined by purposive sampling technique by involving the Department of Family Planning program manager in Deli Serdang District, family planning counselors, family planning cadres and acceptors (users) of vasectomy contraception. Research data collection were done through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results indicates that the management of family planning programs was based on the mandate of Law No. 52/2009 where the government through the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) carries out the function of controlling population and organizing family planning (KB) programs. In managing the vasectomy family planning program in Tanjung Morawa Sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency, there were several parties that have an important role in disseminating information and facilitating vasectomy services such as the Population Control Office, Family Planning and Women's Empowerment, Deli Serdang Regency Child Protection, Family Planning Extension, Family Planning Motivators and Family Planning Cadres. Strategy of vasectomy service for free, mobile services as well as the provision of incentives for vasectomy acceptors were able to attract men?s interest  to be involved in family planning programs as users of vasectomy contraception.

Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya kejahatan khususnya pencurian dan perampasan sepeda motor saat ini semakin mengkhawatirkan sehingga dibutuhkan solusi yang tepat untuk pencegahan salah satunya adalah dengan merancang sebuag alat keamanan, Tujuan pembuatan alat ini adalah untuk merancang hardwere, software, dari Alat Sistem Keamanan Sepeda Motor Menggunakan Sidik Jari SMS dan GPS Berbasis Arduino serta mengetahui unjuk kerja dari alat guna mengatasi tindak kejahatan perampasan. Penelitian terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, analisis kebutuhan, perancangan rangkaian, langkah pembuatan alat, diagram alir program, perancangan program, pengujian alat dan pengambilan data.pada perancangan alat ini menggunakan Finger Print, Modul GSM SIM 800L, dan GPS Tracker, dan di proses oleh dua Arduino, yaitu Arduino Uno dan Arduino Nano, . untuk pemprograman menggunakan ArduinoID. alat ini dapat di operasikan menggunakan sidik jari yang sudah terekam, dan SMS dengan nomor yang sudah terprogram, lokasi sepeda motor juga dapat terdeteksi dengan menggunakan DAGPS.Kata Kunci: Sistem Keamanan, Arduino, Sidik Jari, SMS, GPS
