Abstract

Competition is tight in the capture of new students, demanding STAIN Parepare to be able to capture the desired expectations of prospective students. Moreover, it is common knowledge if STAIN still not be a top priority by high school students who would go on to college. Therefore, researcher are interested to see the perception of high school students in Parepare about STAIN Parepare. This research is expected to provide for the STAIN Parepare enter in an effort to increase the number of students. This type of research was a research survey, the number of 216 respondents spread across several at Senior High School in the margin of error of 5%. Cluster sampling technique is random sampling or random system, where the sampling is done by dividing the population based group or cluster area, which is the base School and Education Program (Science and Social Studies). Research using questionnaire instruments and data analysis with quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study the majority of the City Parepare SMA (63.47%) still do not know of many STAIN Parepare and 53.11% of high school students consider majors STAIN Parepare only open religion studies, 26.76% of high school students in Parepare never read advertisements / news STAIN Parepare in the local newspaper, Pare Pos, 20% of students see STAIN Parepare appeared on CTV Pare, 14.44%, continuing college students who are interested in Parepare STAIN. 36.53% Students of Parepare think STAIN Parepare as favorite college Parepare. Prodi / computer science an option that has been chosen by high school students in Parepare (34.78%). Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (PBI) is still a favorite choice options (48.13%).

Abstract

Introduction: The impact of oral health on quality of life of pregnant woman can be measured with the Oral Health Impact Profile-14 (OHIP 14). OHIP 14 is a measuring instrument that measures the functional limitations, physical pain, psychological discomfort, physical disability, psychological disorders, social disorder and disability. validity and reliability of a questionnaire is needed to measure the impact of dental health. The objectives of this study was to get the data validity and OHIP14 questionnaire reliability in pregnant woman. Methods: The research material that OHIP questionnaire 14 that has been adapted to the language and culture of Indonesia. Analysis of the questionnaire on the validity and reliability used correlation test. Research conducted by accidental sampling. Population study was pregnant woman who went to the beauty clinic in Banjaran District of Bandung. Sample study was pregnant woman. The inclusion criteria of sample is in good general state of health, exclusion criteria that do not have a systemic disorder. Result: Validity OHIP14 is the value of R calculated in the range from 0.495 to 0.647, r value calculated in 95% confidence level is 0.374 and in 99% confidence level is 0.474. The coefficient of reliability of 14 item instrument is 0.944. Conclusion: 14 OHIP questionnaire given to pregnant woman to be stated is valid and reliable.

Abstract

AbstractIntroduction: Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is  a set of symptoms caused by decreases of the immune system that was infected by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Blood disorders often found in patient with HIV and associated with HIV infection. Mostly found disorders is anemia of chronic disease. The prevalence of anemia in HIV/AIDS patients reaches 70%. Oral manifestations of anemia are atrophy of the papillae on tongue, glossodynia, pallor, angular cheilitis, glossitis, aphthous ulcers/erosive lesions, candidiasis, and geographic tongue. There are many publications that uses anemia as indicator to determine the prognosis of HIV infection, thus the description of oral manifestation of anemia in the non-ARV HIV/AIDS patients is a necessity. The purpose of this study was to describe the oral manifestation of anemia in the non-ARV HIV/AIDS patients. Methods: The methods used were purposive random sampling. Samples were new HIV/AIDS patients who have not got antiretroviral (ARV) treatment. The study included 40 patients in Teratai Clinic Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung. Results: Oral manifestations of anemia were found amongst non-ARV HIV/AIDS patients, which were candidiasis in  37 patients, glossodynia in 28 patients, glossitis in 10 patients, and angular cheilitis in 1 patient. Conclusion: From the study found that oral manifestations of anemia that found in non-ARV HIV/AIDS patients were candidiasis, glossodynia, glossitis and angular cheilitis. HIV/AIDS patients with anemia needed to treat more intensive for better prognosis and quality of life.Keywords: Anemia, HIV/AIDS, Candidiasis, Glossitis, Glossodynia

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kompetensi komunikasi guru, mendeskripsikan model komunikasi guru dalam proses belajar mengajar, dan membandingkan model-model kompetensi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses belajar mengajar di SMPN 1 Bukit dan SMPS  Blang Panas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi komunikasi guru di SMPN 1 Bukit telah memenuhi kriteria yang disyaratkan, sedangkan kompetensi komunikasi guru di SMPS Blang Panas belum memenuhi kriteria. Selain itu, model komunikasi guru pada SMPN 1 Bukit lebih bervariasi dan mampu menyesuaikan dengan kondisi yang ada, sedangkan model komunikasi guru pada SMPS Blang Panas lebih monoton dengan hanya menerapkan satu model komunikasi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan perbedaan pada kemampuan berkomunikasi guru secara verbal, non verbal, perbedaan kemampuan bergaul secara santun dan efektif dengan siswa-siswi di kelas, serta perbedaan kemampuan penguasaan teknologi komunikasi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Selanjutnya, guru-guru di SMPN 1 Bukit mampu memadukan tiga kategori model komunikasi sekaligus (komunikasi satu arah, dua arah, dan transaksi), sedangkan pada SMPS Blang Panas, guru hanya mampu menerapkan model komunikasi satu arah saja.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect formal education and motivation on Job satisfaction employee in the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta with gender as the variable Moderation          The subjects were regular employees Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta with a sample of 152 people. Data were collected survey method is to gives a list of questions or questionnaires directly to the respondents. Technique of analyzing data used in this research was the phased linear regression, analysis the testing effect between variable level of formal education and motivation to variable job satisfaction conducted by multiple regression analysis (multiple regression). While for the testing variable level of formal education and motivation on job satisfaction variable with a view the interaction effects of gender as a moderating variable using Moderated regression analysis (MRA), which is operated by IBMs SPSS version 21.          Results of research show that the, level of formal education and motivation significant and positive impact on job satisfaction, level of  formal education and a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, motivation and a positive significant effect on job satisfaction, and motivation level of formal education with gender as a moderating variable affects the job satisfaction.

Abstract

AbstractIndonesian development can not be separated from the public health development. The improvement of community oral health status is currently focused on promotive and preventive, with the goal to make good health care as a positive habit in the society. Currently the spread of medical and health facilities in Indonesia is still not well distributed and the amount is less than the population. The government also concerned to establish a health care cadre to helps the promotion and prevention activity in the community. So it is necessary to set up dental health cadre as part of general health care. The goals of this KKNM PPMD programme is to create some volunteers for dental health care, including dental students, cadres of PKK and Posyandu, and elementary school children. This programme also provide some social service in order to know the oral health condition in target population. Approximately less than 30 “PKK” and “posyandu” cadres got topics about oral health maintanance given by dental students under supervision of lecturers. From oral examination showed coated tongue as most common oral lesion with the number of 76 children.The success of making cadres based on the good results of the pretest and post test. This cadres are expected can transfer knowledge to  improve the quality of life in community.Keywords : Oral health, cadre, oral lesion

Abstract

Dumai city is one of the cities in Sumatra that traversed by the cross-Sumatra railway track. To accommodate users of railway system, Dumai city requires facilities which is passenger train station. The aim of this research is to produce concept design of train station in Dumai city. The concept applied in this train station design is progressive. The concept of progress is applied to the circulation of buildings with a clear orientation, no user congestion and the formation of physical buildings that show movement images. Main strategies of this design has several aspects such as survey, site analysis, concept, zoning, mass shape, room programing, structure, utility, and facade. Process of train station design emphasis in contextual contrast approach. The contextual approach is applied to the building physic which contrast with its neighbor, but still focus on contextual itself. Finally train station present here will consolidate, save, increase neighbor quality.Key words: Dumai City, Train Station, Contextual Contrast, Neighbors Quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran dan kemandirian belajar pada materi persamaan garis lurus siswa SMP. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi pada kelas VIII semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi pada materi Persamaan Garis Lurus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII E. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes soal uraian dan angket kemandirian belajar. Hasil penelitian didapat kesimpulan: (1) tingkat kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam penyelesaian masih level rendah; (2) kesulitan siswa pada umunya belum memahami soal dan prakonsep masih rendah; (3) siswa belum tertanam rasa belajar secara mandiri. Kata kunci: kemampuan penalaran matematis, kemandirian belajar.   ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the ability of reasoning and self-regulated learning on the material of equations of straight lines of junior high school students. This research method using qualitative descriptive method. This research is conducted in SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi in Grade VIII of academic year 2017-2018. The population of this study is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi who have studied the material of the equation of straight line. The subject of the research is the students of class VIII E. To obtain the research data used the instrument in the form of test description and questionnaire self-regulated learning. The results of the research concluded: (1) the level of students mathematical reasoning ability in the problem solving is still low level; (2) students difficulties in general have not understood the problem and the preconception is still low; (3) students have not embedded the sense of learning independently. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam tentang pengaruh positif dari faktor gender dan resiliensi matematis dalam pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMA. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa SMA di Bandung dengan sampel dipilih siswa kelas XII Sekolah Menengah Atas di suatu SMA Swasta di Bandung sejumlah 33 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis berupa soal uraian sebanyak 4 soal, sedangkan instrumen nontes untuk mengukur tingkat resiliensi matematis berupa skala dalam kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji Analisis Kovarian (Ancova). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% terdapat hubungan positif faktor gender dan resiliensi matematis siswa terhadap pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMA. Nilai Koefisien Determinasi Berganda R Squared yang diperoleh sebesar 0,866 yang berarti 86,6% dari pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor gender dan resiliensi siswa. Sisanya 13,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kata kunci: berpikir breatif matematis, gender, resiliensi matematis   ABSTRACT This study aims to find out in depth about the positive effects of gender factors and mathematical resilience in the achievement of mathematical creative thinking ability of high school students. This research uses correlational method with quantitative approach. The population of this study is all of high school students in Bandung and the sample is one selected XII grade high school students in a private high school in Bandung with 33 students. The instrumen used in this research is a test to measure mathematical creative thinking ability by using 4 essays. While the nontest instrumen that is used to measure the level of mathematical resilience is in the form of questionnaire with scale. Data analysis used in this research is Covariance Analysis test (Ancova). By using 95% confidence level, this study shows that there is a positive relationship between gender factors and mathematical resilience of students to the achievement of mathematical creative thinking ability of high school students. The value of Multiple Determination Coefficient or R Squared equals to 0.866. It means that 86.6% of the achievement of students mathematical creative thinking ability is influenced by gender factors and mathematical resilience, while the remaining 13.4% is influenced by other factors. Abstract

The development and existence of increasing fashion can attract the attention of the people including young people. Pekanbaru becomes the right location for this design because there is no fashion education facility and public interest to fashion so that it is needed a place that accommodates fashion education activity in Pekanbaru. Fashion Education and Training Facility is a place that accommodates the activities to explore the world of fashion and equipment by keeping up with the times from time to time. The development of the fashion world in line with the development of contemporary architecture that is varied and innovative both from the shape and appearance and use of materials that will support the look of contemporary architectural style. This design aims to be able to support the activities of the fashion that is educative. The research methods that is used include field data collection, literature study, and empirical studies. The results of this study is a design of the building with a concept of "Dynamic" that is superior in the field of fashion with the principles of Contemporary Architecture in terms of varied forms, neutral building colors, flexible material use and create something varied-innovative on buildings appropriate to the time.Key word: Fashion, Architecture, Contemporery Architecture1
