Abstract

Implementation of character education in elementary school level of its effectiveness is strongly supported by the design of learning environment and classroom with characteristic character. Initial phenomena indicate that many classrooms in elementary schools are not supported by the design of the nuanced space character education, so the implementation of character education is less effective. This study aims to determine the model of nuanced classroom character education in primary schools. The method of research is development research using the procedural development model of Borg and Gall. The trial was conducted at the target school, SD 08 Nanggalo Padang which is a pilot project for the implementation of character education in elementary school. The results showed that the design of learning environment of character education consists of group position, classroom equipped with wet and dry garbage bin, findings of lost items, suggestion box, list of lessons and picket list.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian didasari pengamatan di lapangan bahwa karakter hanya diajarkan dalam tataran kognitif, dan belum menjangkau aspek afektif dan psikomotor sehingga siswa kurang memiliki nilai-nilai karakter dan mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan model pembelajaran karakter terintegrasi konten mata pelajaran bagi siswa SD di Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis riset dan development. Adapun model pengembangan yang dipilih adalah menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada empat daerah di Provinsi Sumatera Barat, yakni dua daerah yang mewakili kabupaten (Kabupaten Agam, Pasaman Barat), dan dua daerah mewakili kota (Padang Panjang dan Padang). Pemilihan didasarkan karena daerah tersebut memiliki sejumlah program pendidikan karakter yang banyak dilakukan di sekolah-sekolah setempat. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dari narasumber guru, siswa dan pengamat pendidikan, untuk selanjutnya akan dirancang sebuah model pembelajaran karakter yang terintegrasi mata pelajaran. Setelah dilakukan analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif temukan bahwa model pembelajaran terintegrasi mata pelajaran yang dikembangkan valid dan terbukti bisa meningkatkan kepemilikan karakter peserta didik. Abstract The research based on observations in the field of character taught only at the level of cognitive, affective, and it has not reached out affective and psychomotor aspects. The integrated character in subjects confined to the cognitive aspects. Aim of the study was to find character learning model integrated subjects for elementary school students in West Sumatera. Types of this research were research and development. The development model selected using ADDIE development model. There were five stages offered by this model, ie Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research conducted in four regions (Agam, Pasaman Barat, Padang Panjang and Padang) in the province of West Sumatra. Data collected through questionnaires, interviews, documentation studies then designed an integrated learning model character subjects. After analyzing qualitative and quantitative data found that subjects integrated learning model developed was valid and proven to increase student ownership of the character. Abstract

Abstrak Seiring dengan digulirkan pemerintah kurikulum 2013 sejak pertengahan tahun 2013, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemdikbud) juga mela- kukan melakukan program pengadaan buku, pelatihan kurikulum, pendampingan, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 di seluruh Indonesia, termasuk di provinsi Sumatera Barat. Telah dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi (monev) oleh tim monev dari Universitas Negeri Padang yang berjumlah 5 orang, yang dibantu oleh sebanyak 48 orang surveyor sebagai tim pengambil data di lapangan terhadap 3108 responden yang terdiri dari guru, siswa, kepala sekolah dan pengawas untuk satuan pendidikan SD, MP, SMA dan SMK. Monev dilakukan dari bulan Agustus – November 2014) pada 6 kabupaten/kota di provinsi sumatera Barat yang dipilih secara acak. Metode monev yang diterapkan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner dan di triangulasi dengan teknik observasi dan indepth interview. Monev bertujuan agar teridentifikasinya proses, kendala dan hasil yang diperoleh dari implemen- tasi kurikulum 2013 tersebut, meliputi empat komponen utama yaitu pengadaan buku guru dan buku siswa, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan pembelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dari monev menyimpulkan bahwa: a) Kualitas buku menurut persepsi responden pada umumnya berada pada kategori bagus (65 %); b) Proses pelatihan berada pada kategori baik (56,2 %), kejelasan materi yang disajikan berada pada kategori jelas (53,8 %) dan sangat jelas (19,1 %). Tingkat pe- mahaman materi pada kategori paham 68,8 % dan sangat paham 5 %. Sedangkan keyakinan terhadap mengimplementasikan kurikulum berada pada kategori yakin 58,7 % dan sangat yakin 3,70 %; c) Tingkat keefektifan pendampingan pada umumnya yang berada pada kategori cukup efektif dan sangat efektif; d) mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik telah mulai dilak- sanakan, cuma masih ditemukan kendala pada evaluasi proses, kegiatan menanya, dan konfirmasi materi pelajaran belum berjalan dengan baik dan tuntas. Kata kunci: implementasi, kurikulum 2013, pengadaan buku, pelatihan, pendam- pingan, pembelajaran Abstract Along with the implementation of Curriculum 2013 by government since the middle of the same year, The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) also conducted the program of books provisioning, curriculum training, mentoring, and the implementation of curriculum 2013 throughout Indonesia including West Sumatera. The monitoring and evaluation (monev) have been done by a team of five people from State University of Padang that was also assisted by 48 surveyors as a team of data collection toward 3108 respondents that consist of teachers, students, headmasters, and supervisors for educational units of primary, secondary, high and vocational schools. Monev was done from August to November 2014 in regency/city in West Sumatera that was selected randomly. The monev method is quantitative descriptive and qualitative by using questionnaire and triangulation with observation and indepth interview. The purpose of monev is to identify processes, constraints, and the results of the implementation of curriculum 2013 including four main components which are the provision of teachers and students books, training, mentoring and learning. The results of monev are: a) The books’ quality according to respondents’ perception in general is in good category (65%); b) Training processes is in good category (56,2%), the distinctness of materials that was presented is in distinct category (53,8%) and very distinct (19,1%). The level of understanding of the material are understand 68,8% and very understand 5%. Meanwhile, the belief in the implementation of curriculum category of believe is 58,7% and very believe is 3,70%; c) The level of the effectiveness of mentoring in general are in the category of effective and very effective; d) Learning activity of the steps of scientific approach has been implemented, but there were some constraints in the process of evaluation, asking activity, and the confirmation of learning materials which were not going well and thoroughly. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce a procedural model for developing video media for multisensory-ecology-based science learning tutorials that can improve the cognitive abilities of Group A kindergartens; (2) describing the validity of the multisensory-ecology-based science learning video tutorial media; and (3) knowing the effect of video tutorial media in science learning based on multisensory-ecology for cognitive improvement in group A kindergarten children in Kecamatan X Koto, Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra. The method used in this research is research and development, which was adapted from the Borg, Gall & Gall model. The study was conducted from 2018 to 2019 involving 4 kindergartens in District X Koto, Tanah Datar District, West Sumetera. The results were obtained as follows: (1) a procedural model for developing video tutorials science learning media based on multisensory-ecological that can improve the cognitive abilities; (2) Video tutorial media produced have been validated by experts and users by a number of revisions according to expert and user recommendations; and (3) there is an influence of based on multisensory-ecology video learning tutorial media on cognitive improvement. It can be concluded that the video tutorial media is appropriate to be used as a companion media based multisensory-ecology  science learning materials to enhance cognitive of Group A kindergarten children. AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan: (1) menemukan model prosedural pengembangan media video tutorial pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak Taman Kanak-kanak kelompok A; (2) mendeskrpsikan  validitas  media video tutorial pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi; dan (3)  menemukan pengaruh media video tutorial dalam pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak Taman Kanak-kanak kelompok A di kecamatan Kecamatan  X Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar Sumatera Barat.  Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan, yang  diadaptasi dari model Borg, Gall & Gall. Penelitian dilaksanakan  sejak tahun 2018 sampai 2019 dengan melibatkan  4 Taman Kanak-kanak  di Kecamatan X Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar, Sumetera Barat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh sebagai berikut: (1) tersusun sebuah model prosedural pengembangan media video tutorial pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak; (2) Media video tutorial yang dihasilkan telah divalidasi pakar dan pengguna dengan dilakukan beberapa revisi sesuai saran pakar dan pengguna; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh media video tutorial  pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi ekologi terhadap peningkatan kognitif anak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video tutorial layak digunakan  sebagai media pendamping bahan pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi untuk menigkatkan kognitif anak Taman Kanak-kanak kelompok A.

Abstract

This research was obtained base on the some of phenomenoes in the field that shows service standard of early childhood theacher is not optimum yet because of teacher number is not quite. Due to the fact, there is necessity the solution to increase the service with giving the tool like video camera to record the learning process as a means of supervision for the students. This research head for uncover the effectiveness video camera utilizing in learning and the implication toward earlychilhood service. This research use mixed method which integrating qualitative andquantitative data analysis. Quantitative data was obtain with questionnaire as a main data of the research object and then more explicitly use qualitative data through observation and interview. Research population was PAUD Binaan UNP with sample of PAUD located in the centre and edges of city with the second assumption the place give the different educational service to the studnts. The result show that utilizing video camera proved upgrade learning effectiveness and give the implication toward learning process for early childhood stuent.

Abstract

Belumimaksimalnyaipenggunaanimediaipembelajaranipadaimataikuliahiteoriibelajaridanipembelajaranimembuatipembelajaranibelumiberlangsungiefektif.iPenelitianiiniitidakimampuimembuatimahasiswaibelajarimandiri.iJenisipenelitianiyangidiigunakanidalamipenelitianiiniiyaituiResearchiandiDevelopmenti(R&D)idalamipenelitianiadaiiniiadai3iyaituivaliditas,praktikalitasidaniefektivitas.iidiilakukan pada 30 orangimahasiwa/i dan pada tahap efektivitas juga dilakukan pada 30 orang mahasiswa/i jurusan Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan FIP UNP, uji kepraktisan media ini menggunakan aplikasi Kvisoft Filppbook Maker. Penilaian oleh validatorimedia dan validator materi, hasil “SangatValid”untuk digunakan dengan jumlah skor i79 dengan rentangan 81-100%. Hasil validasi penilaianiolehiduaiorangiahliimediaijugaidikategorikani“SangatiValid”iuntukidigunakanidengan jumlahiskor 79 dengan rentangan 81-100%. Hasil analisis uji coba efektivitasiberdasarkan hasil t-test dan posttest dari 30 mahasiswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi perubahan yang signifikan berdasarkan thitung sebesar 12.43danttabel sebesar 2,045. Selanjutnya, Berdasarkan uji coba untuk praktikalitas produk media buku digital berada pada kategorii “Sangat Praktis”untuk digunakan dengan total jumlah skor 3000 yang penulis dapatkan sebesar 2603. Jadi, berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas  dapatidisimpulkan bahwa produk media buku digital ini telah valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

The Training of E-Learning as ICT Integration in Instructional for Senior High School TeachersAbstract. Schools have supporting facilities for implementing e-learning such as computer laboratories, internet networks, wireless access points, and microtia routers. However, the teachers and the school are not ready from the side of human resources. In other words, the school needs training and workshops for teachers to optimize the use of ICT in learning. The purpose of this activity is to train SMA N 4 Kota Pariaman teachers to prepare e-learning to integrate ICT in the learning process. This activity involved all of the 4 SMA N Pariaman teachers in a number of stages, namely a) introduction to the concepts of e-learning and LMS, b) workshops managing LMS, and c) simulations of e-learning applications that had been prepared by each teacher. The results of this training activity are a) the teachers have been able to design learning materials and activities in e-learning and produce learning material packages, b) the teacher readiness in integrating ICT in learning is increasingly increasing, and c) the school readiness to create smart classes with the application of e-learning.Keywords: e-learning, integrate ICT, LMS, teachersAbstrak.Sekolah-sekolah telah memiliki fasilitas pendukung untuk pelaksanaan e-learning seperi laboratorium komputer, jaringan internet, wireless access point, dan microtic router. Namun guru dan pihak sekolah belum siap dari sisi sumberdaya manusia. Sederhananya, pihak sekolah membutuhkan pelatihan dan workshop bagi guru-guru untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan TIK dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melatih guru-guru SMA N 4 Kota Pariaman untuk mempersiapkan e-learning dapat mengintegrasikan TIK dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini melibatkan seluruh guru SMA N 4 Kota Pariaman dengan tiga tahap, yaitu a) pengenalan konsep e-learning dan LMS, b) workshop mengelola LMS, dan c) simulasi aplikasi e-learning yang telah disiapkan untuk masing-masing guru. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah a) guru telah mampu merancang materi dan aktifitas belajar di e-learning dan menghasilkan paket materi pembelajaran, b) kesiapan guru dalam mengintegrasikan TIK dalam pemebelajaran semangkin meningkat, dan c) kesiapan sekolah untuk menciptakan smart class dengan penerapan e-learning.Kata Kunci: e-learning, integrasi TIK, LMS, guru

Abstract

Pengangguran lulusan Pendidikan Tinggi yang terjadi di Indonesia disebabkan berbagai faktor diantaranya minimnya kompetensi para lulusan dan tidak sesuainya kompetensi dengan kebutuhan pengguna tenaga kerja, serta kemampuan untuk bertahan di masyarakat dengan kompetensi kewirausahaan yang dimiliki masih kurang. Kompetensi kewirausahaan penting dimiliki lulusan Pendidikan Tinggi dalam persaingan pasar kerja. Tujuan tulisan ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pembelajaran kewirausahaan dengan pendekatan berbasis produksi sebagai alternatif mempersiapkan lulusan berkualitas di Pendidikan Tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif, dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur mendalam terhadap fenomena yang terjadi serta merumuskan gambaran alternatif solusinya. Kesimpulan dari tulisan ini menekankan bahwa pembelajaran kewirausahaan di Pendidikan Tinggi sangat penting namun harus dikelola dengan baik khususnya dalam proses pembelajarannya. Pembelajaran kewirausaan yang berorientasi kepada mahasiswa dapat memberikan ruang kreatifitas dan pelaksanaanya dilakukan secara berkelompokdapat memberikan semangat kebersamaan. Kegiatan pembelajaran kewirausahaan dengan pendekatan berbasis produksi memberikan penekanan bahwa pembelajaran kewirausahaan harus berorientasi produk yang memiliki potensi komersial, dirancang dan disusun dalam bentuk perencanaan bisnis yang baik.

Abstract

This quasi-experimental study was to find out: (1) the influence of critical thinking skills of students given the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model with students who were given conventional learning; (2) the influence of critical knowledge with high initial knowledge using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model compared to those using conventional learning; (3) the influence of critical thinking skills with low initial knowledge using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model compared to those using conventional learning; (4) interaction between learning strategies with students' initial knowledge of critical thinking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental type with a research design using factorial 2x2. The population is all SD Kartika 1-11 students and the sample is 50 IVA and IVB students. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. Research data was obtained from tests of initial knowledge and critical thinking skills. The results of the study indicate that: (1) students' critical thinking skills given the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model higher tcount = 1.910> t table = 1.708; (2) Critical thinking skills with high initial knowledge using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) and conventional models have no significant differences thitung = 1.87 <ttable = 2.56; (3) Critical thinking skills with low initial knowledge use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model higher t count = 3.71> t table = 2.56; (4) there is no interaction between learning models with students' initial knowledge of critical thinking skills.
