Abstract

This study is an experimental study, data collected by observation. Data processed by the Friedman test and Wilcoxon test. From the results of this research note there is a difference between Spin Echo T1 artifact lumbar MRI with pre saturation and Spin Echo T1 without pre-saturation. These results can be seen from the average value of the overall test Friedman test with p value less than 0.001 in axial cuts and sagittal cuts. Then the ratio of artifacts to see the value of the Wilcoxon test performed two variables, to determine the differences of each placement pre saturation. Values obtained in the setting of artifacts terkecul Anterior presaturasi in both sagittal and axial to pieces.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to find out the differences between T1-Weighted Image Fluid Attenuated Inversion Recovery (T1WI FLAIR) and T1-Weighted Image Spin Echo (T1WI SE) sequences, use with MRI Superconducting Modality 0,5 Tesla and to determine its superiority between those sequences, at low field strengths.  This is experimental research. Twenty four patients with brain lesions underwent T1-Weighted Image Spin Echo and T1-Weighted FLAIR imaging during the same imaging session. T1-Weighted Spin Echo and T1-Weighted FLAIR Images were compared on the basis their SNR and CNR. Data were analysed statistically using t-test and Mann-Whitney test. Contrast to Noise Ratio (CNRs)  obtained with T1-Weighted Image FLAIR were comparable but statistically superior to those obtained with T1-Weighted Spin Echo imaging whether on the CNR lesion- white matter with p value 0,043 or lesion-gray matter with p value 0,015.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were obtained from five Clinical Practice Hospitals with Focused Group Discussion. Data were analyzed with descriptif Method. The result shows that the radiographers tend to use higher Expossion Factor and Wider Collimation Field. because the Vendor and Aplicant has informed that CR operation need higher energy and the appearance of noise when the image being manipulated in CR will be lower if high mAs and kV are used. Another affecting factor is prefer images with high density. Radiographers tend to use wider Collimation Field to prevent image cut-off, resize-able image in CR, and availability of widest Imaging Plate size (35x43). Based on that results, optimal exposure factor and precise collimation field should be used in CR in order to minimize the patient dose.

Abstract

A study to determine the effectiveness of the Laboratory Practice Learning Development Prodi D-III Techniques Radiodiagnostic And Radiotherapy Purwokerto.  This type of research is descriptive quantitative study approach. The design of the study is a survey designed to capture engineering data using questionnaires and study documentation. A total of 70 Clinical Instructors involved in the study, and as many as 98 students will see the achievements of PKL value I. Data were analyzed using descriptive with standard Effectiveness. Research results showed that the Learning Development Laboratory Practices conducted by Prodi D-III Technique Radiodiagnostic and Radiotherapy Purwokerto assessed effectively with value effectiveness Old Time Orientation 90,00%, Communication Ability perform 88,57%, perform administrative ability 85,71%, the ability of Patient Preparation of 88,57%, the ability to do Preparation Equipment 87,14%, Patient Setting capabilities 91,43%, the ability Organize X Ray 90,00%, Radiation Protection Capability Set 84,29%, the ability to conduct evaluation of radiographs 82,86%, Performance 100,00%, Score Competency Exam 100,00%, Case Reports 100,00%, and the score comprehensive exam PKL 100,00%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to explore the attitudes and actions of mothers with HIV AIDS stigma and discrimination people in the city of Semarang. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach. As the population of mothers with HIV-AIDS is the number of 26 people, while the number of samples is 6 people for Mother PLWHA. To triangulate the source comes from a number of health personnel and the public a number of 3 people 6 people. The collection of data used interviews and Focus Group Discussions with the techniques Data Analysis used Interactive Models. The attitudes and actions of mothers living with HIV Stigma and discrimination against people is to avoid interacting with the community and need support from family, health professionals and peers (DKS)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the work of CT head scanogram modification to avoid radiation to the eyes towards the results of diagnostic information and pathological abnormalities. It is an experimental research with observational approach. The results show that the modification scanogram on head CT with slices parallel to the supra orbito meatal line (SOML) can avoid the radiation dose to the eyes. Anatomical information that is visible from 30 scanning produces an average value of 2.57 or obvious, and may reveal abnormalities in the head with obvious pathological.
