Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine differences of the uterine involution process on mother taking and not taking the postpartum exercise in Independent Practice Midwife in region of Borobudur Public Health Center Magelang Regency.This study is a case control analytic study with cross-sectional research design. The subjects in this study were normal postpartum mothers who were given and not given postpartum exercises, each 20 postpartum women. Measuring instrument used is a check-list and empirically with metlin. The result showed that the difference of 6 hours postpartum uterine fundus height in the group that did and did not do postpartum exercise get higher average (14.45) in the group that do postpartum exercise with a deviation standard higher in the group that did exercise postpartum (2,72). Differences of 7 days postpartum uterine fundus height on average get nearly the same, namely 7.1 cm and 7.4 cm with a higher deviation standard in the group that did exercise postpartum (1.02), total decrease in the average is higher on mother doing postpartum exercise (7.35) with a higher deviation standard in the group that did exercise postpartum (2.50). There are differences in the uterine involution process in mothers who take and do not take postpartum exercise with a p-value of 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the different levels of anxiety before and after classical music in the third trimester primigravida pregnant women. The subjects in this study is the first time pregnant women at 28-40 weeks of gestation between the health center located in Magelang regency Mungkid. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. Scale refers to pregnant women anxiety scale is Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). This type of research is a quasi-experimental studies, using pre and post test design group. There are differences in levels of anxiety before and after administration of classical music in the third trimester primigravida pregnant women.

Abstract

This research is analytic survey with cross-sectional research design. The populations in this study were all normal postpartum mother from 2 to 7 days after birth, non probability sampling using accidental sampling technique with 31 mothers are involved. Data collection technique is using questionnaire and checklist of healing perineum laceration process. Statistical analyses of the data using uni variate, bi variate test. Logistic regretion test are used for multivariate analyze. The results showed that there are no factors that are influenced to healing perineum laceration process of postpartum mother by value for Maternal age (p value = 0.699), educational background ( p value = 0,797 ), Parity (p value =0,875 ), Nutrition status (p value = 0,474) and Hemoglobin level by p value = 0,303. Eventhough that are no relationships among age, educational background, parity, nutrition status and hemoglobin but mother should concern about age and parity status duringpregnancy to avoid the complication during delivery baby.
