Abstract

Many scholars, both Muslim and Western, modern and contemporary, draw erroneous conclusions about the differences in theological flow in the context of the narration of hadith. One of the most crucial wrong conclusions is that the validity of the hadith is questioned because of ideological bias and political interest bias in the narration of the hadith. Whereas, a narrator widely labeled “Shafi’ah Rafi’ah”, an ideology that is claimed to be “extreme bid’ah” (al-ghuluw fi al-bid‘ah) by the Sunnis, namely ʻAbbâd b. Ya’qûb (w. 250 H), adorns many books of Sunni’s main hadith book. By applying the descriptive-analytical method and jarḥ wa ta‘dîl approach, the author is interested in exposing evidence that ‘Abbâd b. Ya‘qûb is a Shî’ah-Râfiḍah. The author is also interested in exploring the existence of ʻAbbâd in the Sunni main hadith books and analyzing the value of the hadith narrated by ‘Abbâd and the substance of the hadith narrated by ʻAbbâd in the books of the Sunni main hadith. This study proves that ‘Abbâd b. Ya‘qûb was a Hadith narrator of Syiah-Râfiḍah ideological. However, the existence of the ‘Abbâd as narrators calculated in the compilation Sunni’s Hadith main books (ummahât kutub al-ḥadîth) cannot be negated

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan desain manajemen pendidikan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Sampel penelitian adalah 34 siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Penelitian pengembangan ADDIE dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2019 menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes kognitif, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Mojokerto. Motivasi belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPA menggunakan PBL adalah valid dan positif.

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe the efectivity of science integrated learning with immersed model to increase student responses in PGMI. Students of 4th semester majoring in PGMI Unipdu Jombang, were subjected with the tested learning method. The study was conducted in February-June 2018 with experimental method. Students’ performance was assesed through cognitive tests, observation, and interviews. Results of this study indicate that science integrated learning with immersed model to improve students responses. Student responses to science integrated learning with immersed model is positive.

Abstract

Artikel ini bermaksud mengekspos hadis-hadis bias gender seputar gagasan suami kontra pendapat istri, lalu mendudukkannya sebagaimana mestinya. Salah satu unsur utama yang harus ada dalam kehidupan rumah tangga keluarga muslim adalah unsur musyawarah yang bersifat demokratis antara suami istri. Namun, eksistensi hadis-hadis bermasalah seputar gagasan suami kontra pendapat istri, baik yang termanifestasikan dalam realitas kehidupan nyata maupun yang masih berbentuk ide-ide dalam referensi-referensi utama kajian Islam, menjadi salah satu aral dan rintangan tersendiri yang harus dikaji ulang baik sanad maupun maknanya dan didekontruksi pemaknaannya. Oleh karena itu, di sini akan diekspos “masalah-masalah” yang ada pada hadis-hadis bermasalah itu, baik dari segi sanad maupun matannya, lalu dikonfrontasikan dan dikomparasikan dengan kandungan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an dan hadis-hadis sahih, serta dianalisis dengan pendekatan sejarah dalam bingkai sosio-kultural, untuk diketahui progresivitas dan keegaliteran ajaran Islam dalam kaitannya dengan konsep keluarga Islami.

Abstract

This article deals with the contextual understanding of Syuhudi Ismail to the ?adîth. Syuhudi is one of the inspired Indonesian Muslim scholars who has high attention to the study of h}adîth. His work entitled Hadis Nabi yang Tekstual dan Kontekstual: Telaah Ma’anil Hadis tentang Ajaran Islam yang Universal, Temporal dan Lokal, has been considered as one of the most valuable contributions in promoting the dynamic, progressive and universal understanding of Islam. By applying descriptive-comparative analysis and contextual approach, this article finds that Syuhudi’s contributions in formulating the concept and practice of contextual understanding of the ?adîth are quite different from other Muslim scholars. This is due to the basic assumption of Syuhudi’s understanding that the prophet has several roles at the mean time, the necessity of applying universal value of Islam, and the actual change of the society. This, in turn, brings Syuhudi’s contextual understanding into the idea of differentiated meanings of the ?adîth which are universal, local and temporal.

Abstract

Rumusan metode dan tahapan studi hadis taḥlīlī yang bersifat praktis dan operasional dibutuhkan terutama dalam ranah Studi Hadis yang bersifat ilmiah-akademik. Rumusan metode dan tahapan itu diharapkan bisa memberi kontribusi dan solusi terhadap problem ketidakdetailan, ketidakkomprehensifan, dan ketidaktuntasan studi hadis taḥlīlī yang beredar. Tujuan tulisan ini ada dua. Pertama, merumuskan metode dan tahapan studi hadis taḥlīlī yang bersifat praktis dan operasional, terutama untuk diimplementasikan pada kajian hadis yang bersifat ilmiah-akademik. Kedua, mengimplementasikan metode dan tahapan studi hadis taḥlīlī pada hadis “al-dunyā sijn al-mu’min wa-jannat al-kāfir.” Dengan menerapkan metode dan pendekatan Ilmu Hadis, tulisan ini menyimpulkan dua hal. Pertama, studi hadis taḥlīlī adalah kegiatan mengupas tuntas satu hadis tertentu yang mencakup analisis eksternal dan analisis internal. Kedua, rumusan metode dan tahapan studi hadis taḥlīlī itu bisa memastikan kehujahan hadis “al-dunyā sijn al-mu‘min wa-jannat al-kāfir” dan kandungan maknanya.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of Sunna promoted by Muh?ammad Shah?rûr, one of the most controversial contemporary Islamic scholars of Syrian Islamic thought, as well as his critical study. Here the author attempts to expose the unappreciative attitude of Shah?rûr to the existence of the sanad system which is an integral part of the construction of the criticism of the Hadith. In fact, at the same time, he made the Hadith as the basis for the inference of the maximum limits of a law in its boundary theory. By describing, analyzing and then criticizing the views of the Shah?rûr on the concept of the Sunna, the authors came to the conclusion that the Shah?rûr lawsuit against the existence of the Hadith Sciences and its lack of appreciation of the sanad system is not necessary.
