Abstract

Young Muslims as a driver of national change have an important role in introducing Islam that is friendly and open to the modern world. One of them is religious expression through Sufi dance developed by Jalaluddin Rumi. This study was conducted to find out how adolescents interpret Islam through Sufi dances and how Sufi dances that are followed can contribute to adolescents in daily life, especially in shaping attitudes and practices of moderate and tolerant religiosity. With a descriptive qualitative approach, through in-depth interviews from (8) informants who were determined based on purposive sampling the results of the study showed that Islam was interpreted as a pleasure, discipline, politeness that was not only illustrated through human relations with God but also humans and humans and other creatures around it. In social life a Sufi dancer must implement the noble character that is gained when studying Sufi dance. For example must be polite, and hap ashor (humble), patient, sincere, have peace of mind, educated, and able to control themselves.

Abstract

Abstract: Advances in technology have an effect on the dakwah method which also develops rapidly and dynamically. At the same time, it cannot be denied that content containing radicalism and extremism also spreads rapidly and is capable of reaching all lines. So, we need a counter that brings new hope, like the Omah Ngaji Community. This study was conducted to find out how religion is understood and practiced by millennial generations and how dakwah was carried out in the millennial era. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, through in-depth interviews of informants who have been determined based on purposive sampling. The results showed that religion was interpreted as a guide to human life so as not to make chaos. Submission of religion in dakwah through taklim, social media, and psychological approaches to counter hate speech. For this reason digital dakwah is presented by 'ustadz gaul' who understands technology.Keywords: da’wah method, omah ngaji community, millennial generations  Abstrak: Kemajuan teknologi berdampak pada metode dakwah yang juga berkembang pesat dan dinamis. Pada saat yang sama, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa konten yang mengandung radikalisme dan ekstremisme juga menyebar dengan cepat dan mampu menjangkau semua lini. Jadi, kita membutuhkan penghitung yang membawa harapan baru, seperti Komunitas Omah Ngaji. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana agama dipahami dan dipraktikkan oleh generasi milenium dan bagaimana dakwah dilakukan di era milenium. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan yang telah ditentukan berdasarkan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agama ditafsirkan sebagai pedoman hidup manusia agar tidak membuat kekacauan. Penyerahan agama dalam dakwah melalui taklim, media sosial, dan pendekatan psikologis untuk melawan ucapan kebencian. Untuk alasan ini dakwah digital disajikan oleh 'ustadz gaul' yang mengerti teknologi.Kata Kunci: generasi milenial, kominitas omah ngaji, metode dakwah
