Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know a difference in the capacity thinkcritically, and the interaction the use of learning model type PBI and PP by takinginto account style cognitive Field Dependent (FD) and Field Independent (FI)students. Research methodology used in this research was the experimentalmethods specious with the approach comparative. Design research used factorials2x2.The study was done in SMA Negeri 1 Sendang Agung. Population researchwas student XI IPS class as much as two class that were chosen in a method ofclusters random sampling. The data collection was done with the observationthrough sheets of observation. This research using t-test test, and two ways ofanalysis variance. Based on data analysis the results that there is a difference inthe capacity used to think that critical and there are interaction the use of learningmodel type PBI and PP by taking into account style cognitive Field Dependent (FD) and Field Independent (FI) students.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis, daninteraksi penggunaan model pembelajaran tipe PBI dan PP denganmemperhatikan Gaya Kognitif Field Dependent (FD) dan Field Independent (FI)siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodeeksperimen semu dengan pendekatan komparatif. Desain penelitian yangdigunakan Faktorial 2x2. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 SendangAgung. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS dengan sampel sebanyak2 kelas yang dipilih dengan metode cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan datadilakukan dengan pengamatan melalui lembar observasi. Penelitian inimenggunakan uji t-Test, dan Analisis Varians Dua Jalan. Berdasarkan analisisdata diperoleh hasil bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan bepikir kritis dan adainteraksi penggunaan model pembelajaran tipe PBI dan PP denganmemperhatikan gaya kognitif Field Dependent (FD) dan Field Independent (FI)siswa.Kata kunci: Gaya Kognitif, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, PBI, PP
