Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of discipline, motivation, and availability of the facilities to study at school toward the economic learning result. The method used was descriptive verification with ex post facto and surveys approach. The population in this study were all the students of class XI IPS consist of 102 students and the sample was 81 students who were determined by the Slovinformula. The sampling technique that was probability sampling by using simple random sampling. The hypothesis testing used simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results showed that: There was an impact of discipline on the results to the economic learning result. There was an impact of motivationto the economic learning result. There was an impact of availability of the facilities to study at school towards the economic learning result. There was an impact together of self discipline, motivation, and availability of facilities to study at school towards the economic learning result.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin belajar, motivasi dan ketersediaan sarana belajar di sekolah terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto dan survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS dengan jumlah 102 siswa dan sampel 81 siswa yang ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu probability sampling menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier multipel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: Ada pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi. Ada pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi. Ada pengaruh ketersediaan sarana belajar di sekolah terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi. Ada pengaruh secara bersama-sama disiplin belajar, motivasi belajar dan ketersediaan sarana belajar di sekolah terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi.Kata kunci: disiplin, hasil belajar, ketersediaan sarana belajar di sekolah, motivasi

Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan atau mengembalikan kemampuan dan pelayanan jalan adalah dengan melakukan tebal lapis tambah (overlay). Pada penelitian ini perencanaan overlay secara non destruktif berdasarkan lendutan balik, dilakukan menggunakan Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan Nomor 02/M/BM/2013. Hasil analisis menunjukan nilai ekivalen beban sumbu standar selama umur rencana 10 tahun sebesar 6.546.500,63 ESA. Dengan melakukan pembagian segmen untuk mendapatkan variasi faktor keseragaman (FK) dan tebal lapis tambah (overlay)  yang berbeda  maka diperoleh hasil pada segmen 1 Sta 00+000 s/d Sta 00+550 FK 24% overlay 4,1 cm, segmen 2 Sta 00+550 s/d Sta 01+200 FK 19% overlay 7,2 cm, segmen 3 Sta 01+200 s/d Sta 01+750 FK 19% overlay 8 cm dan segmen 4 Sta 01+750 s/d Sta 02+300 FK 11% overlay 9 cm.Kata kunci:  lapis tambah, lendutan balik, Faktor Keseragaman

Abstract

This research studied the mechanical properties of concrete are compressive strength, split tensile strength, flexural strength concrete that uses shredded plastic bottles as fiber. The use of this as a fiber chopped aims to reduce plastic bottle waste and improve the mechanical properties of normal concrete. The test object is cylindrical and beams, used variation is the addition of as much as 0.0%, 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8% and 1.0%. The results showed the highest compressive strength of concrete on the variation of 0.6% IE 9.47% of the sum of normal concrete. For a split tensile strength experienced the highest increase at 0.6% variation in the amount of 39.53% And Strong Bending experienced highest increase in the variation of 0.8% IE 19.44% of the sum of normal concrete. The results showed the addition of Shredded 1-3 mm with a length of 5 cm Plastic Bottles as fibers in concrete mixtures can improve the mechanical properties of concrete, in particular concrete compressive strength, tensile strength of concrete sides, and flexural strength. Abstract

This research aims to study the effect of bottom ash as substitute of sand in paving block and to classify each percentage of substitution according to SNI 03-0691-1906 Bata Beton (Paving Block) class specification. The mixture of cement and sand used in this study was 1 : 3. The variation of substitution started from 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% of sand weight. Tests performed on paving block include compressive strength, water absorption, Na2SO4 immersion test. The results shown by this research that water absorption test at substitution 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, were 5.76%, 6%, 5.83%, 7.16%, 7.49%. According to SNI 030691-1906 “Bata Beton” (Paving Block) to water absorption test results, 0%, 10%, 20%, were categorized as B quality paving block, and 30%, 40% were categorized into C quality paving block. The results shown by this research that compressive strength test at substitution 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% were 31.80 MPa, 27.30 MPa, 29.61 MPa, 19.97 MPa, 16.41MPa. According to SNI 03-0691-1906 Bata Beton (Paving Block) to compressive strength test results, 0%, 10%, 20%, were categorized as B quality paving block, and 30%, 40%, were categorized into C quality paving block. Abstract

This research comparison compressive strength and setting time of concrete used Portland Cement Composite (PCC) and Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). Total of samples are 120 and for each ages are 10. Composition of mixture in this research base on ACI method. The result of the test obtained compressive strength of PCC at the age of 3, 7, 14, 21, 28, and 90 days are 15.65, 21.54,  27.69, 31.37,  31.71 and 37.65 then for OPC are16.99, 22.65, 28.99, 32.27, 32.89, and 38.16. Research showed the age factor of PCC for each ages are 15.65, 21.54, 27.69, 31.37, 31.71, and 37.65 then for OPC are 16.99, 22.65, 28.99, 32.27, 32.89, and 38.16. The value  of age factor OPC and PCC obtained different with the age factor OPC on PB 89 standard. The initial setting time of PCC are 119.17 minute and OPC are 92,99 while the final setting time of PCC are 165 minute and OPC are 150 minute. Abstract

The waste of palm know as waste of palm oil extraction, which is recently available abundantly. One of efforts in using this waste material is as additive in paving block industry. This research presents the efficiency of waste of palm oil extraction as an additive material of paving block at optimum mix composition regarding the paving block compressive strength, absorption and resistance to chemicals.The composition of waste of palm oil extraction was 0%, 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, 10% and 12,5% by weight of cement. Research results showed that the use of waste of palm oil extraction as an additive affect the quality of the paving block. The best composition of paving block in this research was the amount of waste of palm oil extraction can be added to paving block as much as 7,5%. It was shown from the value of compressive strength of 7, 14, and 28 days increased to reach 18,3 MPa, water absorption is 5,9%, and resistant to sodium sulfate. Based on SNI 03-0691-1996, paving block generated from this treatment fitted in C quality of paving block and can be used for parking area.Keywords: waste of palm oil extraction, paving block

Abstract

Many technology innovations have been created to meet development needed. A lot of research have conducted to find solution to improve the deficiency of concrete. The addition of fiber was an alternative to improve the mechanical properties of normal concrete. In this research, the concrete will be mixed with steel fiber and the examination of the mechanical properties are compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength. The length of steel fiber was 140 mm which the content variation were 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8%, and 1% of the weight aggregate volume. The results showed that the compressive strength, the split tensile strength and the flexural strength have the highest value at 0.6%. Therefore, the addition of steel fibers into the concrete mix can improve the mechanical properties of concrete.Keyword : steel fiber, fiber-reinforced concrete, compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexural strength

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to utilize the waste of palm oil with investigating the mechanical properties. The waste materials are the result of palm oil extraction. The experiment conducted to investigate the effect of this material over compressive strength, absorption, porosity, and setting time. The content of palm oil waste which added to normal concrete are varieties which are 0%, 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% of the weight of cement. The porosity test, absorption test and compressive test were performed at ages 7, 14 and 28 days for each test while curing with ordinary water. The results showed that the content of palm oil waste 2%, 4% and 6% decrease the compressive strength. Otherwise the addition of 8% and 10% increase the compressive strength. The absorption and porosity test value increase along with increase the content of palm oil using. The setting time with adding of palm oil waste is faster, rather than normal concrete. In conclusion, utilization of the waste of palm oil for concrete mixture can be done.Keyword: Concrete, Waste of Palm Oil, Extraction, Compressive strength, Porosity, Setting time

Abstract

Concrete material applied widely as a building material. Development of building construction encourage cement industri to create new types of products. One of types is Portland Pozzolan Cement (PPC). This study aims to determine value of setting time, compressive strength and age factors base on cement variations using Portland Pozzolan Cement  and Portland Type 1 cement. Specimens are made in cylindrical shape with diameter 15 cm and high 30 cm. Testing of these specimens are conducted in age 3, 7, 14, 21, 28 and 90 days which are 10 samples per each variations. Mix composition of concrete is designed by ACI method with compression target in 25 MPa. Result of experiments, initial setting time is 92.99 minutes and final setting time is 150 minutes for cement Type 1, whereas cement PPC shows initial setting time is 121.38 minutes and final setting time is 180 minutes. The averages of compressive strength are 16.99, 22.65, 28.99, 32.89, 38.16 in age 3, 7, 14, 21, 28, 90 respectively for cement Type 1. On the other sides, for cement PPC, the averages are 16.56, 19.28, 25.79, 24.63, 24.66, 30.35 respectively with age. The age factors of Type 1 cement are 0.516, 0.688, 0.881, 0.981, 1.000, 1.160, and the age factor for PPC cement are 0.672, 0.782, 1.046, 0.999, 1.000 and 1,231.  Key word: age factor, compressive strength, PPC, setting time.

Abstract

Kuat tekan beton dipengaruhi beberapa faktor,diantaranya bahan susun beton, faktor air semen, dan lainnya, namun tidak hanya dipengaruhi hal tersebut saja, tetapi juga dapat dipengaruhi oleh kecepatan pembebanan. Pengaruh variasi kecepatan pembebanan aksial terhadap nilai kuat tekan beton fc' 20 MPa akan diuji pada penelitian ini, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi kecepatan pembebanan aksial terhadap nilai kuat tekan beton dan rasio yang dihasilkan terhadap variasi kecepatan pembebanan standar (15 MPa/menit). Pengukuran kecepatan pembebanan dengan menggunakan stopwatch dan video recording. Berdasarkan ASTM C 39/C 39M-05 kecepatan pembebanan standar yaitu sebesar 0,25±0,05 MPa/detik. Penelitian ini menggunakan tujuh variasi kecepatan pembebanan, yaitu 3 MPa/menit, 5 MPa/menit, 10 MPa/menit, 15 MPa/menit, 20 MPa/menit, 25 MPa/menit dan 30 MPa/menit. Setiap variasi kecepatan pembebanan terdiri dari tiga sampel berbentuk silinder dengan diameter 150 mm dan tinggi 300 mm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan pembebanan aksial dapat mempengaruhi nilai kuat tekan beton, yaitu semakin besar kecepatan pembebanan yang digunakan maka semakin besar nilai kuat tekan beton yang dihasilkan. Rasio nilai kuat tekan beton pada variasi kecepatan pembebanan dibawah variasi standar (15 MPa/menit) dimana memiliki persentase rasio rata-rata yang lebih besar yaitu 11% dibandingkan dengan variasi kecepatan pembebanan diatas variasi kecepatan standar yang hanya memiliki persentase rasio rata-rata sebesar 5,3%.
