Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of POE learning model on non-electrolyte and electrolyte material in improving comunicating skills and  conclude skills. Subjects in this study was of class X1 SMA Budaya Bandar Lampung totaling 32 people. This research uses a pre-experimental method with One Group Pretest Posstest Design. This research data was data of comunicating skills and the skills of data conclude, data analysis using the percentage of mastery learning (KKM ) which has been set and n-Gain. The results showed that persentage of mastery learning and n-Gain who achieved by 75% and n-Gain comunicate skills 0.68 (medium category). And than who achieved  KKM 81.25% and n-Gain conclude skills  0.69 (medium category).  Conclution this research showed that the POE learning model of non-electrolyte and electrolyte solution material is effective in improving the comunicate skills and conclude skills student for class X1SMA Budaya Bandar Lampung.Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajar-an POE pada materi larutan non-elektrolit dan elektrolit dalam meningkatkan ke-terampilan mengkomunikasikan dan menyimpulkan.  Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X1 SMA Budaya Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 32 siswa.  Peneli-tian ini menggunakan metode Pre-eksperimental dengan One-group pretest-poss-test Design.  Data pe­neliti­an ini adalah data keterampilan mengkomunikasikan dan keterampilan menyimpulkan.  Analisis data menggunakan persentase ketun-tasan belajar (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan dan n-Gain.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase ketuntasan belajar dan n-Gain keterampilan mengkomunikasikan mencapai KKM yaitu 75% dan n-Gain sebesar 0,68 (kategori sedang).  Sedangkan ke­terampilan menyimpulkan yang men­capai KKM yaitu 81,25% dan n-Gain sebesar  0,69 (katagori sedang).  Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjuk­kan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model POE pada materi larutan non-lektrolit dan elektrolit efektif dalam me­ningkat­kan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan dan menyimpulkan siswa kelas X1 SMA Budaya Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci:  keterampilan mengkomunikasikan, keterampilan menyimpulkan, larutan non-elektrolit dan elektrolit, model POE.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the  skills of elementary clarification and draw conclusions on the colloidal matery by using Problem Solving models learning for high, intermediate and low groups of student.  The subjects were students of class XI IPA5  SMA Negeri 1 Natar. This research used the pre-experimental method, a one-shot case study design, and descriptive research. The results showed that the skill of elementary clarification in high level group 30% were excellent, 60% were good, and 10% were enough. In the intermediate level group, 10% were excellent, 65% were good, and 25% were enough.  In the low level group, 10% were excellent, 40% were good and 50% were enough.  The skill of draw conclusions in high level group 20% were excellent, 60% were good, and 20% enough. In the intermediate level group, 10% were excellent, 70% were good, and 20% were enough. In the low level group, 30% were good, 60% were enough, and 10% were less.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan memberikan penjelasan sederhana dan menyimpulkan pada materi koloid menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving untuk siswa kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA5  SMA Negeri 1 Natar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen, desain one shot case study, dan analisis data deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan memberikan penjelasan sederhana pada kelompok tinggi 30% berkriteria sangat baik, 60% baik, dan 10% cukup. Pada kelompok sedang, 10% sangat baik, 65% baik, dan 25% cukup. Pada kelompok rendah, 10% sangat baik, 40% baik, dan 50% cukup. Keterampilan menyimpulkan pada kelompok tinggi 20% sangat baik, 60% baik, dan 20% cukup.  Pada kelompok sedang 10% berkriteria sangat baik, 70% baik, dan 20% cukup. Pada kelompok rendah 30% berkriteria baik, 60% cukup, dan 10% kurang.Kata kunci: kelompok kognitif, keterampilan memberikan penjelasan sederhana, keterampilan menyimpulkan, problem solving.

Abstract

This research was aimed to develop and describe validity and practicality of an interactive e-book based on chemical representation on buffer materials. Research was conducted using the method of Research and Development (RD). This research was conducted in 4 state high schools and 2 public high schools in Shouthern Lampung district. The teachers response data on the content suitability and attractiveness aspects were obtained by using a questionnaires and response data on the readability aspect were obtained by using questionnaire. In this research the validator gave an assessment to the aspects of construction, readabitily, suitability of content interactive e-book in a high category and is declared valid. The theacher responses and student responses are also categorized high and the result of this study indicate that in interactive e-book based on chemical representation on buffered solvent material developed is valid and practical.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas dan kepraktisan e-book interaktif berbasis representasi kimia pada materi larutan penyangga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (RD). Penelitian ini dilakukan di 4 SMA Negeri dan 2 SMA Swasta di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan dengan sumber data satu guru Kimia dan 20 siswa/siswi. Data respon guru terhadap aspek kesesuaian isi dan kemenarikan diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket dan data respon siswa terhadap aspek keterbacaan diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian ini validator memberikan penilaian untuk aspek konstruksi, aspek keterbacaan dan aspek kesesuaian isi e-book interaktif dalam kategori tinggi dan dinyatakan valid. Tanggapan guru dan tanggapan siswa juga berkategori tinggi berarti menunjukkan bahwa e-book interaktif berbasis representasi kimia pada materi larutann penyangga yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan praktis.Kata Kunci: e-book interaktif, larutan penyangga, representasi kimia.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the prediction and communication skill on acid-base material through application problem solving model to the cognitive students group with high, medium, and low category. This research used pre-experiment method with One Shot Case Study Design. The Subject in this research was class XI_science4 students of MAN 1 Bandar Lampungt academic year 2012-2013.  The data analysis used descriptive analysis.  The result showed: (1)Predic­ti­on skill, almost half students have excellent criteria and most students have good in high category; almost half students have good criteria, the rest of students have excellent, average, and poor in medium category; most students have good cri­teria, the rest of students have excellent, average, and poor in low category.  (2)communication skill, all students have excell­ent criteria in high category; almost all students have excellent criteria, the rest of students have good in me­dium and low category.  The high category have predictin and communication skill more high than medium and low category. Abstract

This study aims to develop the student worksheet based on chemical representation of buffer solution material, to describe the responses of teachers and students responses to the worksheet based on the chemical representation of buffer solution material. This study uses the Research and Development. Based on the teacher responses, the student  worksheet that is developed obtained data about aspects of the suitability of the content is 85.00%,  aspects of legibility is 84.00%,  aspects of attractiveness is 81.53%, while based on students responses obtained data on aspects of legibility is 87.46 % and the aspect of the attractiveness is 85.13%. Results of teacher and students response states that thestudentworksheetwhich is developed has a very high quality.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) berbasis representasi kimia pada materi larutan penyangga, mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru dan tanggapan siswa terhadap LKS berbasis representasi kimia pada materi larutan penyangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan.  Berdasarkan tanggapan guru, LKS yang dikembangkan diperoleh data tentang aspek  kesesuaian isi sebesar 85,00%, aspek  keterbacaan sebesar 84,00% dan aspek kemenarikan sebesar 81,53% , sedangkan tanggapan siswa diperoleh data tentang aspek keterbacaan sebesar 87,46% dan aspek kemenarikan sebesar 85,13%.  Hasil dari tanggapan guru dan siswa menyatakan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas sangat tinggi.  Kata kunci: larutan penyangga, lembar kerja siswa, representasi kimia

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of discovery learning model on buffer solution materials to improve students’ science process skills. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the matching-only pretest and posttest control group design.Population on this study is all students of class XI IPA of SMAN 1 Sukadana EastLampung in even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The sampling techniqueused purposive sampling and obtain class XI IPA 3 and class XI IPA 2 as experimental class and control class, respectively. Hypothesis testing used the analysis of the average post-test value calculation using the difference test of two average by t-test. The results showed that: (1) the average post-test scores of students’ science process skills in the experimental class were significantly different from post-test scores in the control class which is high-categorized of 0,71. Thus, it can be concluded that blended learning with discovery learning model is effective to improve students’ science process skills. Keywords: discovery learning, blended learning, buffer solution, science process skills.
