Abstract

The issue in this research is there are is less supportive and the learning motivation of students is low, and that causing low students learning outcomes learning. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical results about the effect of the living environment and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of students class 6 th at SD Negeri 1 Bakauheni. Type of research that is used by the researchist is the quantitative analysis. The method is ex-post-facto, by using the total sampling, which the subject is the students class 6th. The data collecting method is using the questionnaire instrument and mid-semester asessment documentation. Data analysis is using simple linear regression. The results showed that: 1. The living environment had no effect on the learning outcomes of students class 6th at SD Negeri 1 Bakauheni, 2. Motivation to learn had effect on the learning outcomes of students class 6th at SD Negeri 1 Bakauheni.Keywords: living environment, learning motivation, learning outcomesDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/pdg.v9i1.23438

Abstract

Microteaching is a compulsory subject taken by students of program study PG PAUD semester VI. The purpose of this activity is to improve understanding and basic skills of teaching PAUD students in Microteaching classes using drill and practice methods. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research, there are 4 stages in this activity, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collection technique used an observation technique using an observation sheet related to eight basic teaching skills and the data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative. The results of this research in the practice session of cycle II there was an increase in almost all female students who succeeded and were able to apply the eight basic teaching skills in their teaching practice, only a few who had not succeeded because they could not control time, were still nervous and this could be overcome with a lot of work practice, and still having difficulty in choosing the right language and easy to understand for early childhood. Recommendations from this research are aimed at educational stakeholders where this increase occurs because of the training process (practice) that occurs repeatedly and the evaluation or reflection of each student who appears, there are real and direct examples of being able to develop every aspect of basic teaching skills in each student.Keywords: Drill and practice methods, basic skills teaching, microteaching, PAUD, practiceDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/pdg.v9i2.22786

Abstract

The problem in this research was the existence of verbal bullying behavior and its relation to the students’ interpersonal intelegence in fourth class Primary School state in Budi Utomo Cluster District Sub of Metro Selatan Metro City. This research aims to determine the significant relationship between verbal bullying with intellegence interpersonal students. This type of research is ex-postfacto correlation. The population is 78 students and all populations are used as research samples. The instrument for data collection is a questionnaire with a Likert scale, which was previously tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used product moment correlation. Based on the analysis conducted by the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a positive and  significant relationship between verbal bullying with intellegence interpersonal indicated by a correlation coefficient at the level of "High Enough".Keywords: interpersonal intelegence, verbal bullying. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jiip.v2i2.21819

Abstract

Abstract: Integrated STEM 3.0 Approach to Enhance Critical Thinking Skills: An Empirical Evidence. Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effect of the STEM 3.0 approach assisted by real material and virtual simulation to enhance the CTS. Methods: The research method used Quasi-Experimental Designs with Matching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were high school students of Class XI in Surabaya. Findings: Based on the research data, the increase in the CTS of students in the 2 experimental classes was classified as moderate with an average n-gain value of students in class A2 of 0.69 and class A5 of 0.63 while the increase in CTS in the control class was classified as moderate with a lower value (a score of 0.36). Based on the results of statistical tests, there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. Conclusion: Thus, it is concluded that the integrated STEM 3.0 approach can enhance the CTS.Keywords: integrated STEM 3.0, CTS, real material, virtual simulations.Abstrak: Pendekatan STEM 3.0 Terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis: Suatu Bukti Empirik. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pendekatan STEM 3.0 yang dibantu dengan materi nyata dan simulasi virtual untuk meningkatkan CTS. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi-Experimental Designs with Matching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA kelas XI. Temuan: Berdasarkan data penelitian, peningkatan CTS siswa pada 2 kelas eksperimen tergolong sedang dengan rata-rata nilai n-gain siswa kelas A2 sebesar 0,69 dan kelas A5 sebesar 0,63 sedangkan peningkatan CTS pada siswa kelas A2 sebesar 0,69 dan kelas A5 sebesar 0,63. kelas kontrol tergolong sedang dengan nilai lebih rendah (skor 0,36). Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kesimpulan: Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan STEM 3.0 terintegrasi dapat meningkatkan CTS.Kata kunci: STEM 3.0 terintegrasi, CTS, material nyata, simulasi virtual.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202219

Abstract

Educators are expected to be able to apply learning models that can motivate students to be more active, responsible, respective and cooperative to others and can improve student learning outcomes. One of the learning models that can be used is the talking stick type cooperative learning model. This research is expected to be able to solve problems related to students' thematic learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the talking stick model and audio visual media on the thematic learning outcomes of students. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a non equivalent control group design. This study uses a saturated sample technique. The instruments used in this study are tests and non-tests, while data analysis uses simple regression tests and multiple regression tests. The results of the study concluded that there was an effect of the application of the talking stick model and audio media on the thematic learning outcomes of students as well as an increase in N-gain of 0.59 in the "Medium". So it is hoped that the application of the talking stick model and audio-visual media to the thematic learning outcomes can be used as a reference for elementary school class teachers

Abstract

Abstract: Implementation of HOTS-Oriented Problem Based Learning on Science Literacy Ability. Objectives: Knowing and analyzing scientific literacy skills by applying the HOTS-oriented Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Methods: The type of research in this research is experimental research. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. The research design used is a pre-experimental design and uses one form of design, namely the one group pretest-posttest design. The HOTS indicators used in this study are identify scientific issues (problems) explain scientific phenomena, using scientific evidence. Findings: Based on the results of the data analysis, the pretest score for the scientific literacy ability of students achieved by the experimental class was 9.25 and the posttest score was 11.90. Conclusion: The results of the research that have been carried out show that the application of high order thinking skills (HOTS) based on problem based learning (PBL) to improve scientific literacy skills has the impact of increasing n-gain by 0.21 in the low category. In the analysis of the average n-gain score on the highest scientific literacy ability indicator, namely the use of scientific evidence.Keywords: higher order thinking skills, problem based learning, science literacy.Abstrak: Implementasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Berorientasi HOTS terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Sains. Indikator HOTS yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi isu ilmiah (problem), menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah, menggunakan pembuktian ilmiah. Temuan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, nilai pretest kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 9,25 dan nilai posttest adalah 11,90. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) berbasis problem based learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains berdampak pada peningkatan n-gain sebesar 0,21 pada kelompok rendah. kategori.
