Abstract

The study aims to find out the improvement of social adjustment in university on International Studies on Science Education (IPSE) student of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) after being given social personal guidance. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. Subjects in this study were 44 students taken with random sampling technique. The data collection tool in this study used a scale of social adjustment in college. The data analysis in this study uses t-test. The results showed that personal social guidance can improve social adjustment in college students by using sociodrama, simulation, and experience techniques. This study presents an alternative strategy for academic advisors in universities to facilitate students in developing social adjustment skills in universities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the readiness of college students to build family well-being (marriage). In particular, this study produced a model based on the construct of student readiness to get married. The research uses research and development methods. The research procedures were carried out starting from field trials to obtain empirical results. The sample involved 267 students from six public and private universities in the city of Bandung. The results of the study obtained a high impact on students' readiness in marriage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan fenomena pada remaja ditemukan banyak permasalahan seperti tidak baiknya hubungan dengan teman sebaya, keluarga (khususnya orang tua), dengan guru dan bahkan dengan lingkungan sosial remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan membuktikan keefektivan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan kompetensi interpersonal remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian eksperimen non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung dengan mengambil subjek penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas VIII dengan jumlah sampel 136 peserta didik. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah intrumen kompetensi interpersonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan atau intervensi dengan teknik role playing teruji efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi interpersonal remaja di SMP Negeri 12 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 berada pada kategori sedang. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada konselor di sekolah atau  guru bimbingan dan konseling sebagai referensi untuk merancang kegiatan tindakan kelas dalam rangka pengembangan professional, bagi civitas akademika di program studi bimbingan dan konseling diharapkan dapat mengkaji lebih lanjut sehingga menambah keilmuan teoritis maupun praktis, dan bagi peneliti selanjutnya kompetensi interpersonal remaja dapat dijadikan rujukan di masa mendatang dengan teknik role playing maupun bentuk intervensi lainnya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi interpersonal.
