Abstract

Microbial respiration in peatlands plays a role in contributing CO2 emissions. Studies of microbial exploration and respiration on peat soils in oil palm plantations have not been widely reported. This study aims to explore lignocellulolytic microbes found in peat soils in compared with mineral soils planted with 12-year-old oil palm. Exploration is done by growing the samples on the specific medium of each group of microbial functions. In the next stage, the culture obtained was analysed the respiration activity based on the oxidation of peroxidase catalysis using a chromogen substrate (tetramethylbenzidine) and measured using spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 450 nm. The results showed that both in mineral and peat planted with oil palm in a depths of 0-20 cm were found lignolytic fungi with a population of 17 x 102. Similar results were also found in peat with fern vegetation but at a depth of 20-40 cm. Lignolytic bacteria (methylene blue degradation) can be found on peat soils planted with oil palm at a depth of 0-60 cm and the population increases with increasing depth. This bacterium is also found on peat soils with fern vegetation and mineral soils planted with palm. At a depth of 0-20 cm the population of lignolytic bacteria in non-oil palm peat is highest. Cellulolytic bacteria were isolated at a depth of 0-60 cm. Cellulolytic bacterial populations were highest in oil palm peat at all depths compared to other samples. Respiration analysis of several dominant isolates showed fairly high variation between microbial function groups and within the same function group. The lignolytic microbial group degrading methylene blue showed high respiration activity and varies greatly (0.19-1.85 MER). While the respiration activity of cellulolytic bacteria ranged from 0.45 to 0.62 MER.

Abstract

Abstract : using an information about student’s character developing still conventionally. This is done by getting the qualitative data about student’s character through the process of daily observation in the school which is written on student’s and teacher journal colomn without any quantitative instrument. In order to state that the data about student character is accurate and valid, so the researcher create a character test instrument using questionnaire which is processed using likert scale and sent the result to parents by sms gateway. Hopefully this can facilitate teacher to report the students character developing to parents.Keywords : character, skala likert, sms gateway

Abstract

Suatu adopsi pada teknologi selalu menghasilkan dua reaksi, yaitu penerimaan atau penolakan. Senayan library management system adalah suatu sistem management perpustakaan yang mampu mengatur, mengorganisir, memberikan layanan, sampai akhirnya menghasilkan sebuah informasi yang dapat membantu pengelola dan anggota perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana teknologi pada layanan informasi di Perpustakaan ‘ABC’ di terima dan untuk menguji hubungan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan dan penggunaan teknologi tersebut dengan menggunakan TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). Penilaian dihasilkan dari data primer berupa kuesioner yang di bagikan kepada 379 responden. Metode analisis veripikatif statistik pada penelitian ini menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Model) dengan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah Amos 24. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, PEOU berpengaruh positif terhadap PU karena nilai P (0,013) < 0,05, PEOU tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap BITU karena nilai P (0,660) > 0,05, PU berpengaruh positif terhadap BITU karena nilai P (0,000) < 0,05, dan BITU berpengaruh positif terhadap AU karena nilai P (0,003) < 0,05.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yangsignitifikan antara model pembelajaran saintifik terhadap kecerdasan naturalistikanak. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata kecerdasan naturalistik anak sebelum dansesudah diberi perlakuan yaitu 14,7142 menjadi 19,1428. Hal ini juga dibuktikan darihasil pengujian hipotesis dimana thitung 21 > tyaitu 6,0815 > 2,056.

Abstract

This study was aimed at elaborating students’ perception toward the implementation of peer assessment in writing class either before or after revision. Writing becomes one of skills which should be mastered by students in order to get higher level of literacy. Writing is a productive skill which asks students to arrange words and organize them into good writing which could be understood by readers. The success of writing is determined by the writing process itself starting from planning, first draft writing, revising, and editing. One of the strategies used in teaching writing is by implementing peer assessment. Peer assessment strategy becomes one of important parts in the process of writing because there will be feedback or suggestion from peers in doing a review. The number of the subject of this research was students in second semester of the English Education Department of UNISNU Jepara. This research was conducted on even semester. The total number of the students, which became respondents, was 37 students of English Education Department. The research design used was qualitative research which measured students’ perceptions of the implementation of peer assessment in writing: before and after revision. The result showed that before revision, students had negative perception toward their own writing. After revision, they had positive perceptions toward peer assessment strategy. Those included usefulness and meaningfulness, nature of feedback, reality of feedback, precision, validity, fairness, and personal goal-setting. Besides that, the score after revision (7.9) was higher than the score before revision (6.62). It meant that the result showed the increasing of students’ score after revision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui strategi -strategi yang digunakan oleh para pengajar bahasa Inggris di dalam pengajaran Reading for Young Learners, 2)mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh para pengajar bahasa Inggris di dalam mengajar Reading for Young Learners, dan 3) mendeskripsikan cara para pengajar mengatasi hambatan-hambatan di dalam mengajar Reading for Young Learners. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lima sekolah yang berbeda di Jepara, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi deskripsi mengenai strategi -strategi pembelajaran bahasa yang sangat penting di dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran English for Young Learners (EYL). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Berdasarkan pada data yang ditemukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa para pengajar Bahasa Inggris di dalam mengajar Reading menggunakan strategi-strategi yang berbeda, yang didasarkan pada kebutuhan siswa dan kondisi sekolah. Strategi strategi tersebut digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi di selama proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Hasil dari kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa para siswa menyukai bahasa Inggris, bukan para pengajarnya. Sehingga para pengajar perlu mengimplementasikan strategi-strategi yang baik dan tepat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan para siswa.

Abstract

Assessment of Bank Soundness Level and Changes in Share Price of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga Tbk. A bank soundness assessment that stakeholders must know is critical, maximizing the intermediary institution's function to provide a paradigm in making investment decisions. In 2011, bank health was assessed using the RGEC component. The research years ranged from 2011 to 2019 through the public offering of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga Tbk. shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Researchers used a descriptive method with a quantitative case study design. This component is interesting for research to determine the effect of assessing RGEC component bank's soundness level on changes in stock prices scientifically. This indicator affects the independent variable Risk Profile, GCG, Earnings, Capital and has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable on changes in share prices at PT BRI Agnoniaga Tbk. in 2011-2019.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the use of Verbal and Nonverbal Communication nature of phatic communication in building relationships and developing relationships in the workplace. This study also look at the context of the relationship Management Organizational Communication. This study was conducted to obtain a description of the role of verbal and nonverbal communication in the context of fascist communication and how to build interpersonal relationships that occur in the workplace. From the research, it was found that the use of fascist komunilasi very often occur in the workplace, because it is considered as an opener in a more intimate relationship. Phatic communication is important in making a relationship and create a close relationship between co-workers. Cultural context of someone very important role in the use of phatic communication, someone with a high-context culture tends to be more frequent use fascist communication communicates interpersonal relationships. But for those who are on a low cultural context also puts phatic communication to connect with colleagues in the interest of the work. The conclusion of this study, phatic communication is essential in building and managing relationships. This also applies in the workplace, phatic communication context is also related to the management of verbal and non-verbal language.

Abstract

 This study was aimed at 1) finding out how Blended Learning model was implemented to improve students?? comprehension, 2) finding out how Blended Learning model could improve students?? listening comprehension,3) finding out students response toward the implementation of Blended Learning in Listening class. The subject of this study was the second semester  students  of  English  Education  Program  (PBI)  of  Islamic University of  Nahdlatul Ulama` (UNISNU) Jepara. The research design of this study was a classroom action research. The instruments of this study were observation, interview, questionnaire, and Listening test. This study consists of three cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The findings show that Blended Learning could be implemented in two kinds of model; Flip model and Lab Rotation model. In Flip model, students did the activity in their homes via online which was not done in classroom and got re-statement from lecturer in the classroom, while in Lab Rotation model, students  are  divided into  three  groups;  getting  lecturing  from lecturer, discussing with friends and doing online activity. Blended learning model could improve students?? comprehension in Listening class. It was proved with students?? final score in Listening was higher than passing grade. It was 77. Students had positive view toward the implementation of Blended Learning model in Listening class. Keywords: blended learning, listening, comprehension.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) membahas bagaimana Blended Learning diterapkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa, 2) membahas bagaimana  bagaimana  Blended Learning  dapat  meningkatkan pemahaman listening mahasiswa, 3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan Blended Learning dalam kelas listening. Subjek penelitian ini adalah  mahasiswa  semester  dua  prodi  Pendidikan  Bahasa  Inggris UNISNU Jepara. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Instrument yang digunakan adalah observasi, interview, kuesioner, dan tes listening. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, dan tiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Hasil penelitiannya adalah terdapat dua jenis Blended Learning; flip model dan lab rotation model. Dalam flip model, mahasiswa melakukan aktifitas online ketika dirumah apa yang tidak dibahas didalam kelas, dan mendapatkan penguatan ketika didalam kelas. Sementara lab rotation model, siswa dibagi dalam tiga kelompok; tatap muka dengan dosen, diskusi teman, dan kegiatan online. Blended Learning dapat meningkatkan   pemahaman   mahasiswa   dalam   kelas   listening.   Itu dibuktikan dengan nilai akhir yang lebih tinggi dari nilai ketuntasan minimal (77). Mahasiswa memiliki pandangan positif terkait penerapan blended learning dalam kelas listening.  Keywords: blended learning, listening, comprehension

Abstract

Abstrak Ketidakmampuan peserta didik melakukan pengendalian diri tampak pada munculnya perasaan resah terkait kondisi kehidupan ekonomi yang dialami, gaya hidup yang tidak seimbang dengan kondisi diri, sikap keras kepala, pornografi, pelanggaran kedisiplinan secara terbuka, daya konsentrasi rendah, penurunan prestasi belajar, ambisi berlebihan, dan sikap adiktif. Kondisi ini memerlukan bimbingan secara sungguh-sungguh agar peserta didik memiliki kemampuan melakukan pengendalian diri kearah tindakan yang lebih bermanfaat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan dan konseling (PTBK), yaitu peningkatan pengendalian diri melalui layanan konseling kelompok pendekatan teknik PMRT (progreesive muscle relaxation training) terhadap peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadinya peningkatan pengendalian diri pada siklus 1, namun terjadi penurunan pada siklus 2 dan 3. Berdasarkan indikator kinerja, penelitian ini menunjukan keberhasilan berdasarkan rerata secara umum dan per indikator.
