Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self confidence on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students of SMK on the sequence and series material. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The place of research conducted at SMK Al-Ibrohimiyah Cianjur academic year 2018/2019 class XII Administration Offices with the number of 17 students. The instruments in this research are self confidence scale questionnaire and math solving ability test. Analysis of data used in this study using SPSS 21.00 with product moment analysis to measure the relationship of self confidence to the ability of problem solving mathematically. Based on the calculation, the result of data analysis shows that there is a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.784 with p = 0,000 (p <0.01) which means there is a significant positive relationship between self confidence on the ability of problem solving mathematically. This means that self confidence covering the aspects that exist in it can be used as a predictor to measure the ability of problem solving mathematically, the higher the self confidence of students, the students have good problem solving skills, otherwise the lower the students' self confidence, the students has a poor problem solving ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun ruang sisi datar yang di tinjau dari gaya belajar dan kemampuan dasar matematika siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Ngamprah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 ngamprah. Hasil data menunjukan bahwa hasil skor presentase tiap indikator diperoleh bahwa kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun ruang sisi datar ditinjau dari kemampuan dasar, yaitu: kelompok atas dengan rata-rata 69% lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata nilai ulangan pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar yaitu sebesar 80%, kelompok menengah dengan rata-rata 67% lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata nilai ulangan pada materi materi bangun ruang sisi datar yaitu sebesar 77%, dan kelompok bawah dengan rata-rata 57% lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata nilai ulangan pada materi materi bangun ruang sisi datar yaitu sebesar 75%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik dan kemandirian belajar siswa SMP melalui pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education. Metode penelitian yang digunakan eksperimen, dimana subjek dalam populasi ini dipilih secara acak yaitu acak kelas. Didalam penelitian ini, peneliti memberikan perlakuan kepada subjek peneliti untuk selanjutnya ingin diketahui pengaruh perlakuan tersebut. Perlakuan tersebut adalah pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education pada kelas eksperimen dan pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran matematika realistic lebih efektif dalam peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik dan kemandirian siswa SMP melalui pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education lebih baik daripada pmbelajaran biasa. Besarnya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa yang diajar pembelajaran matematika realistic adalah 0,72dan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 0,45. Besarnya peningkatan kemandirian belajar matematik siswa yang diajar pembelajaran matematika realistic adalah 94,86 dan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 91,40.Kata Kunci: RME, Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematik, Kemandirian Belajar

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) serta tantangan apa saja yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat guru dalam proses pembelajaran daring untuk guru sekolah menengah pertama dan solusinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan wawancara terstruktur. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 28 guru matematika yang mengajar di berbagai sekolah di Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan kuisioner melalui google form.  Teknik pengumpulan data  yang digunakan dalam  penelitian  ini  berupa  angket  terbuka,  wawancara terstruktur dan  dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi  pengumpulan data,  reduksi data, penyajian data dan  penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru matematika dalam implementasi  pembelajaran menggunakan  berbagai flatform media sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran daring seperti google meet, google classroom dan E-learning;, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring yaitu postif  serta pembelajaran daring memiliki tantangan/kendala, baik dari aspek sumber daya manusia, sarana-prasarana, dan teknis implementasinya.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian terkait kemampuan self efficacy  matematis siswa SMP pada dua kelas.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara penerapan pembelajaran worksheet berbasis softwere Geogebra terhadap kemampuan self efficacy matematis siswa ditinjau kemampuan awal matematis (KAM) siswa.  Melalui metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain pre test-post test, penelitian ini melibatkan 72 siswa SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan peningkatan  rata-rata kemampuan self efficacy matematis ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematis (KAM). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya peranan kemampuan self efficacy matematis antara kelas konvensional dan kelas eksperimen dari kemampuan awal siswa. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa peranan pembelajaran matematika berbasis softwere Geogebra mampu meningkatkan self efficacy siswa dibandingkan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan softwere Geogebra. AbstractThis article is the result of research related to the mathematical self efficacy of junior high school students in two classes. This study aims to determine the interaction between the application of Geogebra softwares-based worksheet learning on students 'mathematical self efficacy abilities in terms of students' initial mathematical abilities. Through the quasi-experimental method with the pre-post-test design, this study involved 72 middle school students. The results showed a difference in the average increase in mathematical self efficacy abilities in terms of initial mathematical abilities (KAM). The results of the study also showed the role of mathematical self efficacy abilities between conventional classes and experimental classes from students' initial abilities. This shows that the role of Geogebra software-based mathematics learning can improve students' self-efficacy compared to learning without using Geogebra software.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kemampuan guru dan mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dalam membuat dan menyusun soal matematika merupakan indikator penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan siswa dalam mencapai titik maksimal dalam belajarnya. Karena intrumen evaluasi yang baik mampu menciptakan lulusan yang mampu berpikir kritis. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan software Delphi Math kepada guru dan mahasiswa sebagai upaya untuk melatih mereka dalam membuat soal-soal matematika dibidang teori bilangan, aljabar, geometri, statistika dan kombinatorika. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama dua tahapan yakni sosialisasi atau pengenalan Delphi Math via Zoom dan pendampingan peserta via WA group. Sebanyak 135 peserta yang terdiri dari dosen, guru, dan mahasiswa telah berhasil mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan baik. Hasil evaluasi menggunakan angket skala Liker 5 opsi menghasilkan bahwa sebanyak 80,52% para peserta memahami manfaat Delphi Math, melakukan simulasi penyelesaian soal, dan membuat soal matematika dengan baik. Di masa mendatang, tim Abdimas berharap Delphi Math mampu dijadikan salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran matematika di kelas serta akan terus dikembangkan menjadi software yang handal di bidang matematika. Abstract:  The ability of teachers and students as prospective teachers in making and compiling math problems is an important indicator in determining the success of students in reaching the maximum point in their learning. Because a good evaluation instrument is able to create graduates who are able to think critically. This activity aims to introduce Delphi Math software to teachers and students as an effort to train them in making math problems in the field of number theory, algebra, geometry, statistics and combinatorics. The activity was carried out for two stages, namely the socialization or introduction of Delphi Math via Zoom and the mentoring of participants via WA group. A total of 135 participants consisting of lecturers, teachers, and students have successfully participated in this activity. The evaluation results using a 5-option Liker scale questionnaire resulted in that 80.52% of the participants understood the benefits of Delphi Math, simulated problem solving, and made math problems well. In the future, Abdimas team hopes Delphi Math can be used as an alternative medium of mathematics learning in the classroom and will continue to be developed into a reliable software in the field of mathematics.

Abstract

Articles This research is a classroom action research (classroom action research). The problem formulated in this study is how to apply online learning of algebra material to students of SMP Class VII MTS Negeri 1 Cimahi using a scientific approach? The aim is to find out the application of online learning of algebra material to students of SMP Class VII MTS Negeri 1 Cimahi using a scientific approach. The hypothesis of this research action is that online learning of Algebra material in class VII MTS Negeri 1 Cimahi can be applied through a scientific approach. This research was carried out on class VII-G MTS Negeri 1 Cimahi in the academic year 2020/2021 with a sum of 32 understudies. The instrument utilized is a learning result test as a trial of understudies numerical class activity research capacities a issues (questions) that attention more on understudies internet finding out about variable based math, before the activity with an underlying test, after the underlying test the educator and understudy perception sheet activity is held. Student learning activity in the first cycle is inclued in the quite active category with an average value of 67.50. The student's score increased by 22.50 from the initial test score of 45.00. In the second cycle, student learning activities increased to an average of 78.70, an increase of 11.20 compared to the results of the first cycle test scores. Based on the work indicators, it was concluded that the mastery of Algebra concepts in class VII-G students of MTS Negeri 1 Cimahi could be improved through this approach scientific.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the mistakes of Grade X high school students in the City of Cimahi and the factors that cause errors in solving trigonometric problems. This research was conducted at Cimahi 2 Public High School, 3 Cimahi Public High School, Cimahi 4 Public High School which each sample was taken in 1 class. The number of subjects in this study were 65 students. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were test and interview instruments. The test instrument used in this study is a matter of the National Examination on trigonometry material as many as 5 questions that have been validated. Interview technique is used to find out the factors that cause students' mistakes. Error criteria used by researchers according to Hadar. The results showed the percentage based on the criteria for error as follows: (1) Error using data by 5.48%, (2) Error using language by 24.66%, (3) Error using logic to draw conclusions of 0%, (4) Error using definition or theorem of 12.33%, (5) Completion was not re-examined by 22.6%, and (6) Technical error of 34.93%. Factors that cause students' mistakes such as inaccurate students when turning problems into mathematical models, students forget to use the right formula in solving problems, errors in the calculation process, students do not like math lessons, and the problem is difficult to understand.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student errors in statistical material reviewed based on a gender perspective. The method used is descriptive qualitative with statistical material. Researchers want to explore in depth how the mistakes or negligence of students in the process of solving the statistical material with the given written test. The population in this study were all students of class IX at one of the MTs in the city of Cimahi by taking a sample of 10 people, namely male and female students. The instrument used was a written test with 5 questions in the description. The data analysis technique in this research is to calculate the score of the answers, add up the results of each question and then calculate the average, then interpret the results of the difficulty based on data criteria. The results showed that both male and female students were able to complete the written test quite well. It's just that it has a slight difference in the understanding process and the completion process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: student responses and the effect of learning mathematics with the ability of habits of mind in class VII MTs students. Az-Zahra Selacau. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were all students of class VII MTs. Az-Zahra Selacau for the 2020/2021 academic year, while the research sample consisted of 25 students. The data collection technique was carried out by providing an instrument in the form of a student response questionnaire to learning mathematics which consisted of 32 statements, with 16 indicators of habits of mind. The processing technique used is Microsoft Excel. The average student answers to statements in number 1 and number 11 is the highest average of 3.2. While statement number 15 is a statement with the lowest average of 2.4. Based on the criteria for the habits of mind score in table 2, the habits of mind of MTs students. Az-Zahra Selacau class VII is in the positive category.
