Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran Sains fisika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran induktif pada materi Cahaya di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tambang Tahun Pelajaran 2010/2011. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.a yang berjumlah 34 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian adalah lembar pengamatan keterampilan sosial. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan melakukan pengamatan terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif yang meliputi 4 indikator yaitu bekerjasama, menyampaikan pendapat, menanggapi pendapat dan mendengarkan dengan aktif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa indikator bekerjasama (97,15%) kategori tinggi, menyampaikan pendapat (81,31%) kategori tinggi, menanggapi pendapat (58,51%) kategori sedang, dan mendengarkan dengan aktif (86,92%) kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, penerapan model induktif dapat melatih keterampilan sosial siswa di SMP negeri 4 tambang pada materi pokok cahaya. Abstract

Sudah seharusnya fisika dipelajari dengan cara menyenangkan. Cara penyampaian materi akan sangat berpengaruh terhadap proses dan hasil pembelajaran Fisika. Namun fakta yang ditemui dilapangan pelajaran Fisika sangat membosankan bagi mahasiswa pendidikan Biologi. Sehingga motivasi mahasiswa saat belajar Fisika sangat rendah. Padahal pelajaran Fisika sangat dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi karena Mahasiswa pendidikan Biologi akan melaksanakan Praktek Lapangan di SMP yang mana pelajaran IPA SMP sudah berbentuk keterpaduan. Jadi, sangat penting sekali bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi memahami mata kuliah Fisika. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini dibuat Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (LKM) berbantuan games pada mata kuliah Fisika program studi pendidikan Biologi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Critical thinking skill peserta didik yang ada di lapangan masih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan kondisi ideal. Rendahnya critical thinking skill peserta didik disebabkan oleh bahan ajar yang digunakan sekolah belum memiliki langkah-langkah model pembelajaran yang mengarah kepada aktivitas berpikir. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan pengembangan bahan ajar fisika interaktif dalam model discovery learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar fisika interaktif dalam model discovery learning untuk meningkatkan critical thinking skill peserta didik pada materi operasi vektor dan gerak lurus dengan kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Reeves yang terdiri dari tahap analisis masalah, rancangan dan pengembangan, percobaan dan perbaikan, dan Implementasi. Abstract

Objective of this research is to determine  the effect of granting questions HOTS in the problem based learning to learning outcomes of 11th grade students in SMAN 2 Padang. Type of this research is quasi-experiment with Randomized Control Group Only Design. Population of this research is all of 11th grade students in SMAN 2 Padang in academic year 2013/2104. Sample of this research is 11th grade science 1  as the experimental class and 11th grade science 3 as the control class with the sampling technique is porposive sampling. Data of this research was data of learning outcomes.The data was analyzed by the mean equality test. Based on analyzis of data, we can conclude that there was granting questions HOTS in the problem based learning give significance effect to learning outcome of 11th grade students in SMAN 2 Padang for cognitive domains at significance level 5%, but there was no significance effect for affective domains at significance level 5%

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memberikan pengenalan kepada guru-guru IPA SMP Kota Tanjungpinang mengenai media pembelajaran Virtual Reality sebagai alternative media pembelajaran berbasis IT, dan (2) melatih guru-guru IPA SMP Kota Tanjungpinang untuk mampu memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan yang dilakukan selama 3 tahap, tahap pertama pelatihan terkait pengenalan macam-macam media pembelajaran yang digunakan sesuai dengan perkembangan Revolusi Industri 4.0 salah satu media yang digunakan adalah media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality. Pelatihan tahap 2 dengan materi tentang pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality dalam pembelajaran serta tahap ketiga melakukan evaluasi dan pemantapan. Kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan mendapat respon positif dari guru-guru ditunjukkan dengan antusiasme peserta selama kegiatan serta sikap positif untuk mengaplikasikan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi di era Revolusi Industri 4.0.

Abstract

Di era revolusi industri 4.0 generasi muda dituntut untuk mahir dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam menjalani kehidupan. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan memiliki literasi teknologi yang baik agar bisa mengontrol teknologi tersebut. Penyediaan bahan ajar dalam bentuk e-Worksheets yang berorientasi ICT literacy memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk lebih bertanggung jawab atas pengalaman belajar mereka sendiri. E-Worksheets yang dikembangkan dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) sampai pada tahap ke-7. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 orang dosen ahli dan 30 orang mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika. Hasil uji kelayakan e-Worksheets diperoleh persentase sebesar 76.56% dengan kategori layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Sedangkan hasil respon mahasiswa terkait penggunaan e-Worksheets diperoleh skor 83.6% dengan kategori sangat setuju untuk menggunakan ­e-Worksheets dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, e-Worksheets ini sudah bisa digunakan oleh mahasiswa tahun pertama pada mata kuliah pengantar teknologi informasi pendidikan matematika yang bisa melatihkan ICT literacy

Abstract

One of the most produced food products was crackers. Crackers can be made from fish, shrimp, cuttlefish, and others, and cab be sold to improve the community’s economy. For improving the quality and durability of processed seafood products, food additives were added, on of which is preservatives. The problems was occured in the community were: 1) there were still food products that used borax as a preservative, 2) there was no education on how to identify borax in crackers, 3) provide education about the dangers of preservatives to health. Abstract

In the implementation of the teaching and learning process, the use of learning media is still not optimally applied, besides seeing the obstacles experienced by students in learning mathematics, especially the material for rows and Series. So, a solution is needed to deal with the problems that occur. Based on the results of interviews conducted with a mathematics subject teacher, it was found that the teaching materials required by students to support mathematics learning with the demands of the use of technology were in the form of teaching materials that could be run on a computer or smartphone. This study aims to describe the development of learning media in the form of interactive multimedia using Adobe Animate on the material of sequences and Series for class XI Islamic High School (MAN) Bintan, which is valid and practical. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE research model, which stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation; in this current research, it was only until the implementation stage. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class XI MAN Bintan. The types of data in this study are quantitative and qualitative data. Research instruments are media and material validation sheets and questionnaires for teacher and student responses to be checked for practicality. The results showed: (1) the validity of interactive multimedia based on the assessment of media and material experts got an average percentage of 81,37% validity with very valid criteria. (2) the practicality of interactive multimedia based on the questionnaire responses of teachers and students after using interactive multimedia got an average percentage of 89,34% practicality with very practical criteria.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce interactive learning media with Malay culture nuances and characteristics of RME on Cube and cuboid Materials for Junior High School, valid and practical categories. This research is a solution to the problems arising from the Covid-19 pandemic that applies distance learning so that the learning provided is less appropriate and less effective through the developed learning media; it is expected to help and improve students' understanding. This research starts from the define stage, the design stage, to the development stage by conducting a validity and practicality test. The instruments used are peer assessment questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and practicality questionnaires for educators and students. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The data obtained is qualitative, and then the data is converted into quantitative data using MSR. From the Validation of material experts, they obtained an assessment of 80.50% with valid criteria, media expert Validation obtained an assessment of 87.73% with valid criteria, and linguistics expert validation obtained an assessment of 93.01% with valid criteria. For the practicality questionnaire, the teacher's response received an assessment of 92.79 % with practical criteria, and the student response practicality questionnaire received an assessment of 78.27% with practical criteria. The developed product has reached valid and practical criteria. Therefore, this research implies that interactive learning media with Malay culture and RME characteristics is feasible to test for effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials in the Geometry of Plane and Space course integrated with the maritime context of the Riau Islands. This research is a solution to problems arising from a need for teaching materials to the characteristics of students in the Mathematics Education Department of UMRAH. The 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate) is used as the research development model. The research has reached the final activity of the Development stage, namely the practicality test of textbooks produced. The instrument used in the practicality test is a practicality questionnaire with a Likert scale. The evaluation results show that the textbooks produced through this development research have met the applicable criteria for use as teaching materials, with an achievement level of 72,85%. Thus, the textbook produced with the title Plane and Space Geometry Textbook has met the practical to use as teaching material in the Geometry of Plane and Space course. Integrating the maritime context of the Riau Islands helps students connect the content of teaching materials with their daily life. It helps them more easily understand the new knowledge.
