Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in vocational schools is vital because vocational schools have a unique and complex education system. Vocational education has the opportunity to generate students with practical abilities, knowledge, and skills for work. Such skills and knowledge are crucial to welcome the 4.0 industrial revolution era requiring human resource quality improvement. Therefore, this study reviews the importance of entrepreneurship education in vocational schools, especially in facing the challenges of the 4.0 era. We used a literature study method to analyze the related literature and discuss these issues. We conclude that entrepreneurship education is essential to shape the character of vocational students because such schools accommodate students with competencies for work. Hence, graduates are expected to create job vacancies and set up their businesses. Therefore, we need character-building to support students’ entrepreneurial spirit, and thus, it needs help from the community and the government. The community needs to trust vocational schools to produce graduates prepared for work and create job vacancies. The government also needs to trust the graduates by providing space to work well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklan dan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa Progam Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian ekplanatori. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, yang dibagikan pada 49 responden yaitu mahasiswa Progam Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tedapat pengaruh simultan iklan dan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Secara parsial iklan berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa sebesar 0.696 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh kuat dan signfikan iklan terhadap perilaku konsumsi, dan kelompok referensi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa sebesar 0.681yang berarti terdapat pengaruh kuat dan signifikan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan nilai peduli lingkungan melalui program pengembangan diri di SD Negeri 55/I Sridadi Kecamatan Muara Bulian. Jenis penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sementara teknik analisa data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian, pelaksanaan nilai peduli lingkungan melalui program pengembangan diri berupa kegiatan rutin adalah piket kelas dan piket bersama. Berupa kegiatan spontan adalah menanam pohon bersama dan memilah-memilah tabungan sampah untuk dijadikan barang kerajinan. Berupa keteladanan adalah kepala sekolah dan guru dengan tidak membuang sampah sembarangan dilingkungan sekolah. Kepala sekolah dan guru menunjukkan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dengan memungut sampah yang ditemukan. Berupa pengkondisian adalah sekolah menyediakan sarana berupa tempat sampah organik dan anorganik dilokasi lingkungan sekolah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pelaksanaan nilai peduli lingkungan melalui program pengembangan diri di SD Negeri 55/I Sridadi adalah kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian.

Abstract

The presence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning is a challenge in itself for the world of education, in particular, learning technology today. Demands in responding to the globalization of education have appeared before our eyes. Various computer devices and their connections can deliver students to learn quickly and accurately if used correctly and appropriately. Therefore, it requires human resources who are responsive to ICT developments Learning will be more fun if the teacher is able to make ICT-based teaching materials that can increase student creativity. With the use of ICT-based teaching materials in learning, the learning process will be more interesting and can make students more contextual. If we observe carefully, until now teachers have not been able to develop ICT-based learning. In the learning process, the teacher still uses the old method, namely teacher-centered learning, so that students are less able to develop their creativity. This condition is also found in teachers at SMP N 1 Muaro Jambi. Where some teachers have not been able to carry out the ICT-based learning process, especially in compiling and making teaching materials, so that the learning process is only traditional, namely by lecturing, a little question and answer. Through community service activities, it will help teachers improve their competence in mastery of ICT which is useful in the learning process.

Abstract

Every educational institution has a leader who has different abilities and leadership styles in improving the performance of their employees. In addition to the leadership style, performance is also influenced by the capabilities of each employee. This study aims to determine whether the principal's leadership style (X1) and teacher capability (X2) on teacher performance (Y) either partially or simultaneously, and which independent variables (X1 and X2) have a more significant influence on teacher performance. This research is a quantitative study that aims to test hypotheses between variables. The data used are primary data obtained directly from the respondents, as many as 48 people through filling out a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression, which is processed using SPSS. At the same time, all instruments in this study have been tested for validity and reliability, where all instruments have been declared valid because of the value T count > T table. In contrast, it has been declared reliable because it is greater than the Cronbach alpha value of 0.60 processed. They were using SPSS. The T-test results of leadership style obtained a sig value of 0.002 and a teacher's capability value of 0.000. These results indicate that the variables of leadership style and teacher capability significantly influence teacher performance. In contrast, the teacher capability variable has a more significant influence on teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of self-efficacy, self-actualisation, and the learning environment both individually and collectively on achievement motives in class XII students at SMA Adhyaksa 1 Jambi. This research is classified as research with the type of expost-facto using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all XII grade students at Adhyaksa 1 Jambi High School totalling 134 people, and the sampling technique used was total sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument. The data obtained were analysed using descriptive statistical methods using simple regression and multiple regression techniques. The results of this study prove that self-efficacy has a significant effect on student achievement motives with a magnitude of influence of 49.1%. Self-actualisation variables have a significant effect on student achievement motives with a large influence of 49.9%. The learning environment variable has a significant effect on the motive for achievement in students with a magnitude of influence given of 34.2%. The results of multiple regression analysis prove that together the variables of self-efficacy, self-actualisation and learning environment have a significant effect on students' achievement motives with a value of the influence given of 60.4%.

Abstract

This study aims at the Principal's Strategy for Improving Student Achievement at MAN 1 Mojokerto. 2. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the Principal's management strategy in improving student achievement at MAN 1 Mojokerto? The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study type in conducting research. In making observations, the researcher acts as participatory and non-participatory observers, namely by participating in teaching and learning activities as well as other activities such as seminars and study groups, then as later as non-participatory observers the researcher observes activities that do not allow researchers to participate in such as activities evaluation and others. The results of the study show that in order to support the principal's strategy through the quality of human resources, infrastructure, learning materials, and rewards.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dengan tema Pelatihan Pengelolaan Administrasi Sekolah Berbasis Teknologi Cloud Storage Google Drive di SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur dianggap perlu untuk dilaksanakan karena urgensi kebutuhan terhadap teknologi digital disetiap sektor semakin tinggi dan terus berkembang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini juga dilakukan untuk merespon bahwa disadari sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan dilengkapi dengan administrasi yang selalu mencakup kegiatan kearsipan. Solusi cloud storage (penyimpanan cloud) dapat membantu kegiatan administrasi salah satunya yaitu adanya sistem digunakan sebagai pengamanan dan penyimpanan arsip. Informasi dalam bentuk kertas rentan mengalami kehilangan. Oleh karena itu, kearsipan manual dapat dilengkapi dengan kearsipan cloud storage salah satunya dengan aplikasi Google Drive yang memberikan kemampuan dan kenyamanan untuk menyimpan dan mengakses file dimana saja dan kapan saja. Kemudian, kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan mampu menjawab tantangan akan kebutuhan pemanfaatan teknologi saat ini, serta memberikan konstribusi terhadap mitra dalam hal ini SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pengelolaan administrasi sekolah secara efektif dan efisien yang akan mendukung tercapainya visi dan misi sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan kinerja pustakawan dan fasilitas perpustakaan dengan kepuasan pelanggan di perpustakaan FKIP Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan ex post facto. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Program Studi Administrasi Pendidikan Universitas Jambi angkatan 2017-2018. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampling jenuh atau total sampling sebanyak 130 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasi sederhana dan analisis berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat hubungan kinerja pustakawan dengan kepuasan pelanggan di perpustakaan FKIP Universitas Jambi sebesar 0,721 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 sehingga nilai rhitung ≥ rtabel atau 0,721 ≥ 0,172 maka dapat dikatakan signifikan. Karena rhitung ≥ rtabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima; (2) Terdapat hubungan fasilitas perpustakaan dengan kepuasan pelanggan sebesar 0,535 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 sehingga rhitung ≥ rtabel atau 0,535 ≥ 0,172 maka dapat dikatakan signifikan. Karena rhitung ≥ rtabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima; (3) Terdapat hubungan kinerja pustakawan dan fasilitas perpustakaan secara bersama-sama dengan kepuasan pelanggan di perpustakaan FKIP Universitas Jambi sebesar 0,769, sehingga dapat disimpulkan kinerja pustakawan dan fasilitas perpustakaan secara bersama-sama memiliki korelasi dengan kepuasan pelanggan.
