Abstract

This research is motivated by a finding that there are learners who study while working at the Junior High School N 1 South Rao. Students who study while working is caused due economic factor that force them the work to fulfill their studying needs. This Research is a descriptive qualitative research. Informants in this study were learners as many as 3 people, and supporting teachers BK informant by 2 people. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The objective is to describe: (1) stabilization of the attitude and study habits are affective and afficient, (2) strengthening training systems, either independently or in groups. From the analysis of interviews revealed that the students are ready to take the field BK tutoring by teachers against students who school while working,  but still found obstacles for teachers in the administration of BK tutoring field is limited time to get into the classroom, the teacher is not maximized BK in organizing materials on BK because time has not been scheduled to go to class. Based on the results of the study recommended forheadmaster for provide time to BK teachers in help apply tutoring field.

Abstract

The research is done based phenomenon which is happened in the field where special necessity of participant with normal participant gather knowledge in education world so that special necessity of participant is difficult to adapt oneself in life. The purpose of this research is to describe: 1) The teachers’ effort of BK helps adaptation for special necessity of participant to learn, 2) The teachers’ effort of BK helps adaptation for special necessity of participant with friends. The kinds of this research is Descriptive Research that give purpose to describe real condition. The subject of the research is special necessity of participant amount 15 person. The data collection uses questionaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis uses percentage formula. The result of this research expresses that 1) The teachers’ effort of BK helps adaptation for special necessity of participant in learning process 60,00% in category good enough, 2) The teachers’ effort of BK helps adaptation for special necessity of participant with friends 46,67% in category least good.

Abstract

Based on phenomenon that the researcher is determined getting some old person which is not able to live and change their purpose and their living as old person, so the researcher gets problem of research about: 1. Reaching the assignment of old person development appropriate with personality. 2. Increasing the assignment of old person development appropriate social.This research is descriptive research. The population of this research is all of old person that is in Kenagarian Padang XI Punggasan the result of 57 person. The sum of this sample in this research is 57 person which use total sampling technique or jenuh sampling.The result of this research: 1. Reaching the assignment of old person development appropriate with personality in categories good. 2. Increasing the assignment of old person development appropriate social life in categories good. Based on the research got recomendation for: 1. Old person to live more effective and can be run way the purpose as old person that can create new program after stopping the work. 2. The family keep and give good care for old person as group of the family. 3. The goverment of Padang XI Punggasan to give sosialition for old person such as preparing the place of sport and also give information that is need the old person

Abstract

Abstract: Braveness in asking question is needed in learning process. By asking question, student is trained to think, to develop information and knowledge, and with frequently asking question, it can increase braveness and confident. However, many students experienced anxiousness in asking question, one of the influences is psychology aspect that is self-confident. This research is purposed to (1) describe students’ self-confident, (2) describe student’s anxiousness while asking question in classroom, and (3) see the relationship between student’s self-confident and anxiety while asking question in classroom. This research is using quantitative approach type descriptive correlation. This research is conducted in VIII and IX class SMPN 13 Padang. Research finding reveal that (1) student’s self-confident tend to to reside in high category, (2) student’s anxiousness while asking question in classroom tend to to reside in low category, (3) there is a significant relationship between students’s self-confident and anxiety while asking question in classroom with high level of correlation.  Keywords: self-confident, anxiety in asking question

Abstract

It was assumed that students who had self-confidence would be able to complete their tasks and vise versa. In fact, there were still some students had less self-confidence in completing their tasks. This researchwas aimed at describing the students’ self-confidence at SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping in completing their task. This was a descriptive research whose population was 592 students. From those, 86 students were taken as the sample. The data was collected by using questionnaire. The result of the research revealed that the students’ self-confidence at SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping was in good category. To increase students’s self confidence in completing thein tasks better, the guidance and counseling teachers give them information service, team guidance service, and individual counseling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya pelaksanaan bimbingan karir di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa tentang pelaksanaan bimbingan karir yang diberikan oleh guru BK di sekolah meliputi layanan informasi, layanan konseling individual, dan layanan bimbingan kelompok. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskripitif. Temuan penelitian adalah persespsi siswa kelas XI dan XII di SMA N 1 Padang pada umumnya berada pada kategori netral, namun kecenderungan persepsi siswa yaitu negatif.

Abstract

every student should be free of the problem studied. But in reality there are many students who are still having problems learning, especially in the field of learning skills. This study aims to describe students' learning problems related to learning skills as well as handling. This study classified the type of descriptive quantitative research. The study population of 323 students with a sample of 67 students at SMA N 2 Lintau Buo. The research instrument is the questionnaire. The findings of the research revealed: the high learning problems experienced by students at every skill learning, as well as the lack of interest of students to consult the learning problem faced by teachers BK.

Abstract

This research was aimed at revealing the role of the Guidance and Counseling teachers and the lesson teachers in preventing among the students at SMK 5 Kota Padang. This was a descriptive qualitative research. The sample of the research was 8 Guidance and Counseling teachers and 58 lesson teachers which were chosen through proportional random sampling technique. The data was colleted through questionnaires of likert scale. The data then was analyzed by using percentage technique. The result of data analysis revealed that: 1) generally, the Guidance and Counseling teachers often took their role in preventing the fighting among the students. This could be seen from: a) they frequently help the students in building their self-concept about self-potential and peer-relationship, b) they frequently help the students in building their environmental understanding on family and school concepts, c) they sometimes gave a broad understanding on information about social, culture, law and religion values d) they sometimes worked cooperatively with the school communities, d) they frequently work cooperatively with the family of the students. 2) generally, the lesson teacher often took their role in preventing fighting among the students through, a) understanding the students characteristics, b) creating a conducive atmosphere socio-psychologically in the classroom, c) performing a mature personality and d) working cooperatively with the Guidance and Counseling teachers.

Abstract

Abstract Students’ discipline violation at SMA N X Padang are affected by internal and external factors. Findings in the field showed that many students broke the school’s discipline. This research is aimed to describe internal and external factors that affected students’ discipline violation and those implications for Counseling and Guidance services. This research is classified into quantitative research in descriptive type. The research subjects are 130 students who violate the discipline at SMA N X Padang. The research instrument is questionnaire. The findings of the research revealed: factors internal (psychology conditions) and external (school’s environment, family, and community).Keyword: Discipline violation

Abstract

Students who are motivated will prepare before attending college, in college and post-college activities. Phenomena in the field students lack motivation, see there are still students who arrive late, do not read the lecture material, playing phone while in college, and rarely repeat lecture material at home. This study revealed a motivation to lectures. Type a descriptive correlational study with findings of high student motivation, activities and lectures both significant relationship between motivation and lectures.
