Abstract

Children are very close to the game. In daily life, children  always do both traditional and modern games.  The game  is something that is considered mandatory as a means of physical motor development  for Early Childhood. The modern game is often played by children in urban areas tend to improve the ability of the brain than muscles.  therefore, the parents who live in urban areas is more advisable to introduce the children to the kinds of games that are more trained strength of their muscles, and traditional games can be one of the solution.The traditional game was slowly but surely becoming obsolete, because it is considered archaic and exhausting. In fact, if evaluated deeper,a variety of traditional games can directly contribute to children such as:1) establishment of a healthy physical, fit, strong, superior and competitive;2) mental development, include: sportsmanship, tolerance, discipline and democratic;3) Theestablishment of moral become more responsive, sensitive, honest and sincere;4) establishment of social skills, are able to compete, cooperate, disciplined, friendly, and nationality.

Abstract

Stem cell technology has great potential in the effort to cure degenerative diseases. This study was done to determine optimum dose of flamboyant (Delonix regia) flower extract to induce proliferation and differentiation of mice (Mus musculus) bone marrow mesenchymal-like stem cell. Bone marrow cells were collected from mice by aspiration. Cells suspension (1 x 106) were poured into petri dishes containing 2 ml of modified Dulbeccos Modified Eagles Media (mDMEM) and incubated overnight at 37 °C in a 5% CO2 incubator and microscopically observed. In quadriplicate, MSC were cultured in mDMEM containing D. regia flower extract of 0.0 (control), 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and 1.0 mg/ml and incubated at 37 °C for 9 days. Population doubling time (PDT) and differentiated cell type were microscopically observed using HE staining on day 1 and 10. Data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA and Tukey test. The results showed that the addition of D regia flowers extracts 0.8 and 1.0 mg/ml significantly reduced PDT compared to that of 0.4, 0.6 and control. The extract, at 0.4 and 0.6 mg/ml, were able to induce MSC differentiation into fibroblast-like and nerve-like cells. In conclusion, D. regia flower extracts of 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 mg/ml were able to stimulate MSC proliferation, but optimum dose for neurogenic differentiation was 0.6 mg/ml. This is the first to show potential of D. regia flower extract as neurogenic differentiatian inducer on mice MSC. These findings can be used as preliminary information for using the extract as cellular differentian inducer in basic and applicative reseach using stem cells.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan, yaitu : Pertama, untuk  mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan empati mahasiswa  antara mahasiswa yang berasal dari Madrasah Aliyah (MA )  dan Sekolah Menengah Umum (SMA/SMK). Kedua, untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan empati mahasiswa ditinjau dari tingkat pendidikan orang tua mahasiswa. Hipotesis penelitian yang diajukan : Petama, tidak ada  perbedaan kemampuan empati mahasiswa  antara mahasiswa yang berasal dari Madrasah Aliyah (MA)  dan Sekolah Menengah Umum. Kedua, Tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan empati mahasiswa dari  pendidikan orang tua mahasiswa yang rendah, menengah dan tinggi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi PGRA angkatan 2013/2014 , 2014/2015, dan angkatan 2015/2016 dengan jumlah 213 mahasiswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi : angket (skala Empati) yang diadoposi dari C. Asri Budiningsih, angket Tingkat Pendidikan Orang Tua, dan dokumen. Dari hasil uji komparasi dengan menggunakan analisis varians (Anova) dua jalur diperoleh nilai F :  0,908  dengan p : 0,342  ( p  > 0,05) untuk hipoesis pertama, dan nilai F : 0,166  dengan p : 0,847 ( p ˃ 0,05) untuk hipotesis kedua. dengan hasil uji statistik dapat diambil kesimpulan : pertama, Tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan empati antara mahasiswa yang berasal dari Madrasah Aliyah (MA) dan sekolah umum (SMA/SMK ). Kedua, tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan empati mahasiswa yang memiliki orang tua (ayah) dengan tingkat pendidikan rendah, menengah dan tinggi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an interest in the independence of group A children at RA Averous Bogoran Trirenggo Bantul. This study aims to determine the independence of group A children, parental tendencies, and differences in parenting parents towards the independence of group A children in RA Averous Bogoran Trirenggo Bantul. This type of research is quantitative research. The variables in this study include the variable parenting (Independent) and independence variable (Dependent). Respondents in this study were 34 children and parents from group A at RA Averous Bogoran Trirenggo Bantul. The results of the study in Aorous RA Bogoran Trirenggo Bantul group A obtained the results of the average independence of children in the low category of 5.88%, independence with the medium category as much as 26.48% and independence with a high category of 67.64%. For the authoritarian parenting trend of 11.77%, liberal parenting was 8.82%, and democratic parenting was 79.41%. Based on the results of statistical calculations using one way ANOVA test obtained F 45,393 with a significance value of 0,000 (0,000 <0,05), indicating that there are differences in parenting parents towards independence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui seberapa besar kreativitas anak sebelum diadakannya kolase, (2) mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan kolase, (3) mengetahui seberapa besar perubahan kreativitas anak setelah diadakannya kegiatan kolase. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif menggunakan model kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subyek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B yang berjumlah 14 anak yang terdiri dari 6 anak perempuan dan 8 anak laki-laki. Obyek yang diteliti adalah kreativitas anak. pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menghitung persentase hasil kreativitas anak mulai dari pratindakan, siklus I dan siklus II lalu mendeskripsikan dalam bentuk narasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas anak mengalami peningkatan seteah diberikan tindakan melalui kegiatan kolase menggunakan bahan kertas, bahan alam, dan warna yang cocok, bebas menggunting, menyobek, memotong dan menggulung bahan sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari kondisi awal kreativitas anak kelompok B sebesar 35,71%, kemudian pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 57,14%, dengan menggunakan bahan kertas dan bahan alam, dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 78,57% dengan ditambah bahan menggunakan bahan kertas, bahan alam dan bahan buatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kolase dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak kelompok B di RA Al-Iman Sleman.

Abstract

This study specifically aims to find out the implementation of honesty values education in students through madrasah class and to find the actualization changes  of students' honesty values after the implementation of honesty values education through madrasah class and culture at MIN 1Bantul. The research method used is Action Research. The research subjects were obtained by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection was done through observation, in-depth interviews, field notes, and documents, as well as questionnaired.The data were analyzed by using  descriptive statistics which were presented in tables, percentages,and diagram. The results of changes that occur in students' attitudes and behaviors after learning development actions by integrating honesty values in learning Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences and Indonesian and developing madrasah culture, the actualization of honesty values increases.

Abstract

One of the leading sectors of commodities mainstay of West Kalimantan which have a comparative advantage, especially in the city and district of North Pontianak is aloe vera. Aloe vera usually processed and sale only in the form of raw material and provide little added economic value to society. The purpose of this study is knowing and producing effervescent granules with the best formulations as a health drink; and knowing and determining the economic value and feasibility level production of effervescent granules as a busniess unit. The result of this study indicate that, based on the soluble time test aloe vera effervescent granules are not eligible. Effervescent granules solubility test is qualified. Water content test of aloe vera effervescent granules is qualified. Flow time test of aloe vera effervescent granules is qualified. Meanwhile, based on the analysis of the calcualtion of the increase in economic value by using the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP) and the Discounted Payback (DPB) expresses feasible to increase the economic value of public income.

Abstract

4’33” merupakan buah kontemplatif dari John Cage yang membuatnya tak berhenti dibicarakan sampai hari ini, karya yang juga sering disebut the Silent Piece ini merupakan karya musik yang sepenuhnya “diam” - tak ada satupun nada yang dibunyikan. Karya fenomenal ini diciptakan pada tahun 1949, kemudian ditampilkan pertama kali pada tahun 1951 oleh pianis ternama kala itu, David Tudor. Telaah ikonografi dan ikonologi yang dipakai sebagai sudut pandang dalam tulisan ini bermaksud untuk mencoba mengaplikasikan konsep yang lazim diperuntukkan untuk menganalisis karya seni rupa untuk kemudian diaplikasikan dalam karya musik. Adapun hasil dari telaah studi kasus pada karya 4’ 33” ini meliputi deskripsi ikonografi, analisis ikonografi, dan interpretasi ikonologi.

Abstract

Anak bahagia adalah anak yang menjadi dirinya. Anak yang menjadi dirinya adalah anak yang sukses. Dengan demikian semua anak berpeluang menjadi sukses. Untuk menjadi sukses, anak membutuhkan bermain, mengisi waktu luang bersama orang tua atau keluarga, dan bersahabat dengan teman-temannya. Anak-anak berkembang dipengaruhi oleh kehidupan yang paling dekat, yaitu orang tua, anggota dalam keluarga, serta teman-teman. Orang tua yang bagi anak adalah orang tua yang peka terhadap anaknya, menerima apa adanya tanpa syarat, menjadi sahabat, dan mampu mengendalikan diri sehinga tidak mudah “marah” dan “menyiksa anak”.

Abstract

Parents are the first foundation in shaping the character and personality of children. This study aims to provide an overview of the involvement of parents in children's education. as a supporting and determining factor in the development of inclusive education in the family (home) environment. Because of the importance of parental involvement in inclusive education, researchers focus this research on two aspects, namely; how the involvement of parents in early childhood education, and how early childhood education in kindergarten inclusion. The method used to find a phenomenon using a qualitative approach is a escriptive method, understanding children through the stages of psychological development. This research was conducted at Pelangi Kindergarten, a state child of Jogjakarta. Inclusive schools will not develop if communication, cooperation and mutual trust are not established in stimulating aspects of early childhood development
