Abstract

Academic procrastination is the habit of delaying work or work without any clear reason. This habit can adversely affect students. So researchers want to help this problem by giving treatment through Islamic group guidance services. This study uses a quasi experimental design with testing carried out pre-post design. The population in this study were 116 students who found 57% or about 70 students procrastinated. The sample in this study were 8 students taken by purposive sampling. The analysis was carried out through the Wilcoxon test, the result of which was obtained z-score of -2,366 and a significance level of 0,018. This means proving that Islamic group guidance services are effective in reducing Student academic procrastination.

Abstract

In counseling service, there are many type of counseling in it’s practice, the one of the type was a counsultation service. This type of counseling service was help the consultee to solve a problem of the other people that need their help, this can be implemented if consultee can solve their own problem,. This service always implemented in school setting, this because of a counseling in school will help like parents, or another student to help their kids or their friends in learning process. But in reality of counseling practice was far from the ideal. How is the school consultation service in Indonesia implemented? and what are the problems? is a question that needs to be answered. This paper tries to answer the question with the method of analysis of research results with qualitative and also seek a satisfaction of consultation service. there are three researches on consulteeng services that have been done in three cities, namely Semarang, Padang and Banjarmasin. The research finds three categories of service implementation, is good, moderate and sufficient. The barriers found are low support from counsultte  and misunderstood the concept of consulteeng services. The effort to overcome the problem is with the improvement of quality of counselor which facilitated by MGBK. Dalam pelayanan konseling, adanya banyak jenis pelayanan konseling, salah satunya adalah pelayanan konsultasi. Jenis pelayanan konseling ini membantu konsulti untuk memecahkan masalah dari orang lain yang membutuhkan masukan darinya. Hal ini bisa diimplementasikan jika konsulti sudah bisa memecahkan masalahnya sendiri. Pelayanan ini selalu bisa diimplementasikan dalam seting sekolah, hal ini karena konseling disekolah akan membantu dan banyak berhadapan dengan seperti orang tua siswa, wali siswa, siswa yang membutuhkan kiat untuk anak dan teman sebayanya dalam proses belajar. Akan tetapi, realitanya praktek konseling masih jauh dari yang seharusnya. Bagaimana pelayanan konsultasi  sekolah di Indonesia di laksanakan ? dan apa saja permasalahnnya? merupakan pertanyaan yang perlu di jawab. Tulisan ini mencoba menjawab pertanyaan tersebut dengan metode analisis hasil penelitain dengan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dan juga menlihat kepuasan dari pelayanan konsultasi. terdapat tiga Riset tentang layanan konsultasi yang pernah di lakukan di tiga kota, yakni Semarang, Padang dan Banjarmasin. Hasil riset menemukan tiga kategori pelaksanaan layanan, yakni baik, sedang dan cukup. Hambatan yang di temukan berupa rendahnya dukungan dari counsultte dan salah memahami konsep layanan konsultasi. Upaya mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan  peningkatan mutu konselor yang di fasilitasi oleh MGBK

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to discover the effectiveness of group counseling with self-instruction and time management techniques in decreasing academic procrastination in mathematics learning. This research used a randomized pre-test post-test comparison group design with sixteen participants selected through a purposive random sampling technique. Eight of those participants (group 1) used the self-instruction technique; meanwhile, the other eight participants (groups 2) used the time management technique. The data was obtained through an academic procrastination scale, referring to academic procrastination aspects, developed by Tuckman. Additionally, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was used to test the effectiveness of both techniques, and the Mann-Whitney test was used to compare the efficacy of both techniques. The results indicate that group counseling with self-instruction and time management techniques are sufficient to lower the academic procrastination in mathematics learning. Further, the self-instruction group counseling is more effective to downturn academic procrastination than time management technique.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-instruction dan teknik time management untuk mereduksi prokrastinasi akademik pada pembelajaran matematika. Desain penelitian menggunakan randomized pre-test post-test comparison group design. Enam belas subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling, dimana delapan subjek (kelompok 1) diberi perlakuan teknik self-instruction dan delapan lainnya (kelompok 2) diberi perlakuan teknik time management. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala prokrastinasi akademik yang dikembangkan oleh Tuckman dengan mengacu pada aspek prokrastinasi akademik. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test digunakan untuk menguji keefektifan kedua teknik, sementara uji Mann-Whitney digunakan untuk membandingkan keefektifan keduanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-instruction dan teknik time management efektif untuk mereduksi prokrastinasi akademik pada pembelajaran matematika. Lebih lanjut, konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-instruction lebih efektif untuk mereduksi prokrastinasi akademik dibandingkan teknik time management.

Abstract

Abstract. This article aims to provide insight and knowledge to the academic community that a lesson has three aspects that need to be present in learning Logos, Ethos and Pathos, as well as the curriculum context that needs to be present in learning. In the setting of national seminar activities for the academic community, both education practitioners and students. The activity focuses on implementing BK in the independent campus curriculum. This service is carried out using the lecturing socialization method. As a result of this service, participants from this activity gain knowledge and understanding regarding what Logos, Ethos and Pathos are like and understand the implementation of the independent curriculum in a fun learning strategy setting, active participants in discussions and evaluating the results of the conference activities. Abstrak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan pada masyarakat akademik bahwa suatu pembelajaran memiliki tiga aspek yang perlu ada dalam pembelajaran Logos, Etos dan Patos serta konteks kurikulum yang perlu ada dalam pembelajaran. Dalam seting kegiatan seminar nasional pada civitas akademika baik praktisi pendidikan, dan mahasiswa. Bahwasanya kegiatan focus pada menyampaikan bagaimana implementasi BK dalam kurikulum kampus merdeka. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode lecturing socialization. Hasil dari pengabdian ini peserta dari kegiatan pengabdian ini mendapatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman terkait seperti apa Logos, Etos dan Patos serta memahami pelaksanaan dari kurikulum merdeka dalam seting strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, peserta aktif dalam diskusi dan mengevaluasi hasil dari kegiatan seminar.

Abstract

Character is the result of good habituation that must be instilled in every child, this is no exception for every child. Every parent will not want their child to have limitations or special needs. The treatment of all children should certainly not be discriminated against, and it is strongly recommended not to discriminate. However, the real conditions in the field are still problematic. The development of students' potential is certainly not only based on academic ability. One of the no less important is to build the character of the child. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding to people in their role to improve the character of discipline and responsibility, the role of teachers in educational units in building discipline and responsibility and how parental collaboration will be used as an idea to improve the characteristics of character potential that wants to be developed in each child or student through parental empowerment activities as a form of implementation  independent curriculum. Furthermore, this service activity hopes to have a significant impact on developing children's character through collaborative activities with parents and schools with various more creative and innovative activities in giving independence to children.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the problems currently being the focus of the Indonesian government. The problem of failure to thrive in children caused by chronic malnutrition must receive special attention and intervention so that the number does not increase. Stunting prevention efforts can be started from the surrounding environment through education from related parties. This encourages the service team to help problems that exist in the community. The method of implementing community service begins with obtaining permits and initial identification of stunting problems in Bener Village, Saradan District, Madiun Regency, the second stage together with the village determines the parties involved in the activity, the third stage determines activity targets, the fourth stage conducts outreach about MPASI and nutritious food, and the fifth stage is evaluating activities. The results of the evaluation showed that after being given education, the target community gained knowledge about solids and nutritious food. It is hoped that this new knowledge will be able to be applied by the target community to provide the needs of solids and nutritious food for the baby

Abstract

Self-confidence is one of the human aspects that must be owned by every individual, especially students and students to achieve career success, family, education, and so on. However, there are still many students who do not have self-confidence, have not been able to find their strengths and weaknesses. Therefore self-confidence needs to be explored from a young age. High school students are at a developmental stage who are prepared to be immediately ready to work so they need to be instilled with confidence to choose and pursue a job that is in accordance with their field of expertise. To increase students' self-confidence, guidance and counseling services are needed through lesson study for learning community (LSLC) activities which include three stages, namely planning, implementation, and reflection. After being carried out for three cycles, it can be said that through the implementation of Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) in guidance and counseling services, it can increase students' self-confidence. Based on the results of this activity, it will be followed up for lecture activities on campus with the aim of exploring and increasing student confidence

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang luar biasa bagi tatanan kehidupan, tidak terkecuali di dunia pendidikan. Kebijakan pemerintah untuk melakukan pembatasan dalam rangka memutus rantai penyebaran virus covid-19 membuat sekolah harus memiliki strategi pembelajaran yang efektif. Adanya himbauan untuk tidak melakukan kontak fisik membuat guru dan siswa memanfaatkan perkembangan IT dalam proses pembelajaran. Problematika ini perlu dikaji lebih mendalam terkait kompetensi literasi digital dan peran konselor dalam meningkatkan kompetensi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain literature review, dengan menggali berbagai review yang mengangkat isu-isu literasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, bahwa kemampuan literasi digital sangat diperlukan oleh siswa terutama dalam memperoleh sumber informasi atau bahan pembelajaran. Kemampuan tersebut dapat ditingkatkan apabila ada support sistem salah satunya dari konselor sekolah. Konselor sekolah memiliki peran dan funsgi preventif, kuratif dan pengembangan dalam membantu siswa mencapai perkembangan yang optimal. Dalam upaya meningkatkan perilaku literasi digital maka konselor perlu memfasilitasi siswa untuk menyadari pentingnya kemampuan literasi digital bagi dirinya.

Abstract

Mental health problems are essential in the VUCA era. Developmental demands in the VUCA era can make individuals anxious and depressed so that it can have an impact on their mental health. In order for individuals to avoid mental health problems, there needs to be a solution to prevent them. In this study, researchers used online counseling (cyber counseling) based on religious values as an effort to develop students' mental health. The method used in this study is the experimental method, to be precise, the quasi pre-post experiment design. The results of the study show that online counseling (cyber counseling) based on religious values can develop mental health in individuals. Cyber counseling is intended as an alternative virtual counseling model in developing individual mental health and of course mental health as well.
