Abstract

Salespeople through personal selling activities provide a very dominant role for the industry, their level of effectiveness in making sales has an impact on company performance, so it is not uncommon for sales people to carry out aggressive sales strategies (Sales Influence Tactics) which tend to be pushy. Meanwhile, consumers currently can make their own choices through alternative evaluation activities that they do, consumers do not like it when in alternative evaluation activities they experience a pressure on information given by force, consumers will be more resistant. This study aims to determine the effect of sales influence tactics and determine what factors are of concern to consumers in personal selling sales influence tactics activities. The study was conducted on 204 consumers who have interacted with sales people at the store point, the analysis was carried out using SEM-PLS to measure the research model and produce interpretations. The research findings show that not all aspects of sales influence tactics have a positive effect, there are only two aspects that give influence and become the attention of consumers, namely information exchange and ingratiation aspects. This study provides input to increase the effectiveness of sales people in conducting personal selling.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the consideration of purchasing Korean beauty products. This is because many consumers prefer beauty products from South Korea or commonly called Korean Beauty compared to local products. Even though many local cosmetics are of good quality and already have halal certification, many are not yet certified halal or do not have the halal logo. This research was conducted using mixed methods. The Sample was obtained from primary data by distributing online questionnaires with 330 respondents and conducting in-depth interviews with 4 informants from West Java. Data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 22 for quantitative data testing and qualitative data using three qualitative paths, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that product ingredients and country of origin had a positive effect on purchase intention. while halal awareness does not affect the purchase intention of Korean beauty products.

Abstract

UKM Serba Singkong Cirendeu (UKM SSC) yang terletak di Kampung Adat Cirendeu (KAC) secara aktif memproduksi dan menjual produk olahan singkong kepada para wisatawan yang berkunjung ke KAC. Saat ini, UKM SSC masih sangat mengandalkan penjualan offline dan promosi word of mouth untuk memasarkan produknya. Namun, cara ini dianggap kurang sesuai dengan tipe konsumen yang sekarang lebih banyak hadir di dunia “online”. Terlebih lagi, di masa pandemic COVID-19 penjualan UKM SSC menurun drastis akibat tidak adanya lagi wisatawan yang berkunjung ke KAC. Maka, untuk mengatasi permasalahan penjualan yang belum optimal ini, tim PKM menggagas suatu solusi berupa peningkatan adopsi UKM SSC dalam pemasaran digital. Gagasan ini dilakukan ke dalam lima tahap kegiatan, yaitu (1) Analisis program pemasaran UKM SSC saat ini, (2) Pemilihan media pemasaran digital yang tepat, (3) Penyiapan materi pelatihan pemasaran digital, (4) Pelatihan pemasaran digital, (5) Evaluasi. Tim PKM memilih platform Instagram sebagai media pemasaran digital yang tepat untuk memasarkan produk singkon UKM SSC dengan nama akun @serba_singkong_cireundeu. Selain itu, UKM SSC juga diberikan pelatihan mengenai pengelolaan Instagram. Dari pelatihan tersebut, kelima peserta pelatihan menilai bahwa penyampaian materi telah dilakukan dengan jelas oleh tim PKM dan materi yang disampaikan juga bermanfaat bagi pengembangan bisnis mereka.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the determinants of green purchase intention of generation Y and Z in Indonesia, more specifically on the green straws. It was carried out quantitative methodology through disseminating the online survey and analyzing the collected used PLS-SEM. Of 394 respondents, the findings showed that the value-attitude-behavior (VAB) framework was successfully applied in this study. It meant perceived green value and green attitude significantly impacted the green purchase intention. In addition, environmental concerns were proven to be the predecessor of the VAB framework as well. The moderating effect of gender only appeared on the relationships of perceived green value-green purchase intention and green attitude-green purchase intention, not the environmental concerns-green purchase intention. From the theoretical perspective, this study contributes to the extension of the VAB framework through the inclusion of environmental concerns. From the managerial perspective, it provides the specific approaches for males and females consumer groups to awake their green purchase intentions.

Abstract

AbstractThis research develops a performance-based training management model to produce start-up companies that have superior competitiveness in their independence and business development. Using the Research & Development approach, this research uses a locus of start-up companies in Bandung. Research subjects are the leaders or business owners of start-up companies. The managerial training and development model that is often based on various studies is concluded to run with various deficiencies in every aspect, starting from the planning, implementation, and results obtained. Based on this, the reconstruction of training and development models is carried out by examining the factors that are relevant for managerial training and development, especially in start-up companies. The results of our study show that the performance-based training model developed for managerial training and development has proven to be effective in increasing the competencies of leaders and owners of start-up companies in Bandung. Keywords: Training management model,  Competencies, Performance, Business owners of start-up companies.

Abstract

Tujuan dari program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh sektor pariwisata di Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat melalui bantuan dalam proses pengembangan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SOP) Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat. Identifikasi masalah mitra dilakukan dengan studi dokumen pengembangan destinasi wisata di wilayah studi. Rancangan solusi masalah dengan memperhatikan penyebab sehingga didapatkan tiga solusi permasalahannya, yaitu; pengembangan SOP bidang Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata; Pengembangan SOP Pemberdayaan Masyarakat yang diberikan oleh Kepala Bidang Pengembangan Destinasi wisata, Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Kuningan. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini meliputi; (1) Luaran wajib. Luaran wajib yang dihasilkan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) di Kabupaten Kuningan berupa Teknologi Tepat Guna, dalam bentuk rancangan/desain SOP Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata Kabupaten Kuningan; (2) Luaran tambahan berupa artikel yang dipublikasi pada jurnal pengabdian. Hasil yang dikembangkan berupa SOP-AP Bidang Pengembangan Destinasi Wisata sebanyak 21 SOP-AP, keberlanjutan program masih banyak lagi upaya peningkatan layanan di bidang pengembangan pariwisata di Kabupaten Kuninga.

Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi internet, aktivitas belanja melalui e-commerce kini menjadi media belanja online bagi pelanggan dalam mencari produk yang diinginkan, khususnya pada thrift product. Tampilan gambar yang disajikan penjual dapat dilihat oleh pelanggan melalui ptofil penjual. Namun, tampilan pada gambar tidak cukup menciptakan rasa kenyamanan dan kegunaan dari tampilan yang disajikan. Live streaming membantu penjual untuk memberikan tampilan visual thrift product kepada pelanggan. Penggunaan fitur live streaming pada e-commerce kini menjadi media promosi bagi penjual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pelanggan pada niat belanja thrift product melalui shopee live melalui visual scene dan motivasi dari perceived enjoyment dan perceived usefulness. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner kepada 310 pelanggan yang telah menggunakan shopee live untuk mencari thrift product di Indonesia. Analisis deskriptif pada penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS statistic dan pengukuran validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan SmartPLS. Didapatkan setiap variabel memiliki persepsi yang positif. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada tampilan visual terhadap niat beli thrift product melalui motivasi yang didapatkan dari rasa kenyamanan dan kegunaan pada penggunaan live streaming. Dapat disimpulkan, tampilan visual yang menarik pada shopee live dengan membangun motivasi pelanggan pada rasa kemudahan dan kenyamanan yang didapatkan dari penggunaan shopee live sebagai media promosi thrift product dapat membuat pelanggan memiliki keinginan untuk membeli.
