Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out whether students’ active learning with discovery approach could improve the students’ understanding of basic science subject. The research used survey method. The population of this research was students who took the subject of Konsep Dasar IPA (the Basic Concept of Science) out of which one class was taken as sample. The data was then analyzed with descriptive technique with the help of graph. The result showed that 72% did not have sufficient understanding about the topic of energy and its transformation which was delivered without the help of learning aid and discussion. After learning aid was and discussion was facilitated by the lecturer, all the subjects of this research expressed their better improved understanding. Discovery method with experiment and discussion is crucial in helping students understand the basic concept of science. Key words: understanding, basic concept of science learning, students’ active learning, discovery technique.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe learning activities using WhatsApp Group as a means of distance learning at SD Negeri Tambaksari and its obstacles. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach conducted by interviewing participants, namely teachers, guardians of students and students. The results showed that low-class teachers opened learning with greetings and high-class teachers did not open learning, material in high and low classes covered all subjects but did not fulfil all learning outcomes, the method used by low and high-class teachers was the assignment method. , the media used by low-class teachers and high-class teachers is a photo feature, assessments conducted by low-class teachers and high-class teachers in the form of online and portfolio based tests, low-class teachers and high-class teachers do not reflect, low-class teachers close learning with giving messages to students and closing greetings while high-class teachers did not close the lesson. The obstacles for teachers in learning using WhatsApp Group include limited quota, limited cellphone storage for guardians of students, teachers find it difficult to determine the method, assignments were given by the teacher through WhatsApp Group make students lazy.

Abstract

Learning media that fit the needs of the 21st century today are digital-based learning media, one of them is media in the form of animated videos. Learning animation media for mathematics in grade IV at SD UMP is a media that does not yet exist and needs to be developed. This research method is research and development using the 4D model. The results of the validity of the feasibility of instructional media in this study in terms of media presentation and programming results obtained 46,6 included in the excellent category. Based on the results of research that has been done to get very good student enthusiasm, this is evidenced by the results of student questionnaire data when using animation media. Student questionnaire data obtained by 30 students (83%) included in the excellent category and the results of the teacher's response to the animation learning media in terms of appearance and material obtained 4.53 results included in the very good category. Completeness of student learning outcomes after using powtoon animation-based mathematics learning media, based on data analysis of student learning outcomes obtained results of 21 students reaching KKM, and 7 students not reaching KKM out of 28 students who took the post-test. This means that the completeness of learning outcomes of class IV SD UMP students in classical is 75% included in the high category.

Abstract

Abstract: The Qur'an reviews the husband's nusyuz as contained in the letter an-Nisa/4 verse 128. The jurisprudence and positive law literature in Indonesia do not specifically discuss the husband's nusyuz. The discussion is only limited to the wife's nusyuz. This study focuses on the analysis of the husband's maslahah nusyuz in Islamic law and positive law. The conclusions of this study are: Nusyuz’s husband is not fulfilling the rights of the wife or not carrying out the obligations of the husband. The discourse on Islamic law and positive law only focuses on discussing the wife's nusyuz. Nusyuz's husband was resolved in a familial way. If it is considered to bring benefit to both of them, then they can return to living their domestic life. However, if reuniting them does not bring any benefit, then they can file for divorce.

Abstract

This guideline is a new format for template article which will be published, starting from April 2021 by Jurnal Elementaria Edukasia. Abstract is a summary of the article. Abstract must include at least: research aim, research method, and results. Abstract should stand alone, means that no citation in abstract. Consider it as the advertisement of your article. Abstract should tell the prospective reader what you did and highlight the key findings. Avoid using technical jargon and uncommon abbreviations. You must be accurate, brief, clear and specific. Use words which reflect the precise meaning. Abstract should be precise and honest. Please follow word limitations no more than 200 words. Lines are one spaced. In addition, Keywords are the labels of your manuscript and critical to correct indexing and searching. Therefore, the keywords should represent the content and highlight of your article. Use only those abbreviations that are firmly established in the field. e.g. RME. Provide at least three keywords.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop Student Activity Sheet HOTS-based anvalid and effective for thematic learning for class V. The method usedresearch and development with the ADDIE-style. Product validity wasassessed using a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale, while theeffectiveness of the HOTS-based LKPD product used a test instrument. Dataanalysis used descriptive quantitative with scoring method and percentagescore. LKPD products assessed by material, language, and media designexperts . LKPD products are assessed by material, language, and media designexperts. Based on expert judgment, the product is considered valid and worthtesting are valid and worthy of trial. From the results of student tests, it wasshown that the LKPD product was very effective in learning.Keywords: HOTS, LKPD, DevelopementAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan utuk megembangkan Lembar KegiatanPeserta Didik berbasis HOTS yang valid dan efektif pada pembelajarantematik kelas V.
