Abstract

Siswa yang baru saja memasuki jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau Madrasah Aliyah (MA) tentunya akan menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan dan suasana yang baru. Namun, dalam praktiknya tidak jarang mengalami masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo yang berjumlah 420 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 191 siswa dengan teknik sampling simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala konsep diri (α = 0,900) dan skala penyesuaian diri (α = 0,882). Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product-moment dari Pearson dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) = 0,725 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo. Pengaruh konsep diri terhadapa penyesuaian diri dalam penelitian ini sebesar 57,7%.

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the relationship between family well being and the students’ aggressiveness. The proposed hypothesis is that there is a negative relationship between family well being and aggressiveness of junior high school students. Quantitative research method with correlational research was used to conduct this study. The sample of this study was 172 students recruited from 338 students in the population by implementing simple random sampling technique. Likert scale model was used as data collection technique to measure the family well being and aggressiveness. Pearson’s Product Moment correlation technique with the help of SPSS 16.0 for Windows was performed to analyze the data. The results showed that there was -0.225 correlation coefficient  with the significance value of 0.001 <0.05, meaning that there is a negative relationship between family well being and aggressiveness among the seventh grade students of a private junior high school in Buduran sub-district. It means that the higher the family well being is, the lower the aggressiveness is and vice versa. Family well being contributes 4.5% to the aggressiveness variable.

Abstract

The background in this study is the phenomenon of vocational students who are found to have problems with sexual behavior deviations, the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-control and sexual behavior in vocational students. The variable included in this study is self-control as an independent variable and as a dependent variable for sexual behavior. This study was conducted in vocational training “X” Mojosari, with a sample of 84 students, using Probability Sampling, Proportional Strict Random Sampling. The data collection technique in this study uses the first two psychological scales of the Likert model, i.e., the thurstone scale for the self-control scale and the sexual behavior scale. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between self-control and sexual behavior in high school vocational training students. Data analysis was performed using the Pearson product moment correlation statistical technique using the Windows SPSS program. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate a correlation coefficient of 0.856 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 means that there is a positively relationship between self-control and significant and unidirectional sexual behavior. So that the higher the self control, the more also high sexual behavior in students at vocational high school "X" Mojosari, as well otherwise. The contribution effective of self-control to sexual behavior was 73.2%.

Abstract

Academic stress is an individual response that arises because of their inability to complete or complete academic demands. This study aims to determine the relationship between adversity quotient and academic stress in students of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Boarding School Tanggulangin. This research is a correlational quantitative study. The population in this study were all students of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Boarding School Tanggulangin, with a sample of 114 subjects. Data collection techniques in this study used the adversity quotient scale (ɑ = 0.949) and the academic stress scale (ɑ = 0.945). The data analysis technique used Pearson's product-moment correlation with the help of SPSS 18.0. The results of the research data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient (rxy) was -0.247 with a significance of 0.004 <0.05, meaning that there was a significant negative relationship between adversity quotient and academic stress in students of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Boarding School Tanggulangin. In this study, the influence of the adversity quotient variable with academic stress was 6.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional support and psychological well-being in students. This research method is quantitative with a correlational approach. The variables in this study are emotional support as the independent variable and psychological well-being as the dependent variable. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Grati with a sample of 333 students who were taken by the sampling method used was probability sampling method with simple random sampling technique. namely the sampling technique by providing equal opportunities for each element. Data analysis was performed by Pearson product moment correlation analysis using SPSS 23 for windows program. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between emotional support and psychological well-being for students at SMKN 1 Grati. The results showed that the correlation coefficient was 0.562 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the hypothesis in this study can be accepted. With an effective contribution of 31.6%, which means that emotional support affects the level of psychological well-being of students.

Abstract

Premarital sexual relations experienced by young women can have a negative psychological impact. To deal with these conditions, it takes skills to restore mental conditions to normal, such as having not been exposed to a problem called resilience. This study aims to determine the description of resilience and the factors that influence resilience in adolescents who have had premarital sex. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological type, using 1 female subject aged between 13 – 23 years who lives in the city of Sidoarjo. Determination of subjects using a non-random sampling technique with purposive sampling strategy, data collection methods in the form of interviews with one primary subject, 2 significant others, and rating scale. The results showed that there was a picture of resilience in adolescent girls who had experienced adversity due to premarital sex. The most dominant aspect is insight, and the aspect that does not appear is humor. As well as showing the factors that influence resilience in adolescent girls in the form of I Have, I Am, I Can.

Abstract

This research motivated by phenomenon students experiencing academic procrastination. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and academic procrastination of students at SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. This type of research is quantitative using correlational approach. The population was students of class X and XI totaling 1412 students, class XII wasn’t studied because they had graduated. The research sample was 213 students using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The research data collection technique used the emotional regulation scale (ɑ = 0.800) and the academic procrastination scale (ɑ = 0.917). The data analysis technique uses Pearson's product moment correlation with the help of SPSS 22.0. The results of the analysis research data show the correlation coefficient (r xy) of -0.390 with significance of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there significant negative relationship between emotional regulation and academic procrastination of students at SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. The effect of emotion regulation on academic procrastination in the study was 15.2%

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between emotional regulation and academic stress in class XII students of SMA Insan Cendekia Mandiri Boarding School. The variables in this study are Emotion Regulation as the independent variable and Academic Stress as the dependent variable. The research was conducted at Insan Cendekia Mandiri High School Boarding School. The number of samples is 64 students, using the saturated sampling technique. The hypothesis is that there is a negative relationship between emotional regulation and academic stress in class XII students of SMA Insan Cendekia Mandiri Boarding School. Data analysis using Pearson correlation technique with the help of SPSS 24.0 for windows. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate a correlation coefficient of -0.448** with a significance value of p = 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted with an effective contribution coefficient value of R Square of 20.0%. It is concluded that there is a negative relationship between emotion regulation and academic stress. it means that if emotion regulation is high then academic stress is low. conversely, if emotion regulation is low then academic stress is high.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students experiencing narcissistic behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between subjective well being and narcissistic behavior in students using Instagram at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. This research is a type of quantitative research with a correlational approach. The population in this study were all students of the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, totaling 10,806 students. The sample in this study were 340 students using probability sampling and random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used a subjective well being scale (ɑ = 0.949) and a narcissistic behavior scale (ɑ = 0.951). The data analysis technique used Pearson's product-moment correlation with the help of SPSS 18.0. The results of this research data analysis indicate that the correlation coefficient (rxy) is -0.535 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant negative relationship between subjective well-being and narcissistic behavior in students using Instagram at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The effect of subjective well being on narcissistic behavior in this study was 28.6%.

Abstract

Mapel Tematik PKn ialah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang pembentukan karakter, pelaksanaan hak dan kewajibannya, sesuai dengan Pancasila dan undang-undang dasar tahun 1945.Pendidikan karakter didefinisikan sebagai usaha pendidik yang sudah direncanakan sebelumnya, untuk mendidik atau memperdaya potensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa, terutama siswa sekolah dasar, guna dapat membangun karakter pribadinya, dan menjadikan individu yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat maupun negaranya. Dengan melalui penanaman nilai-nilai karakter, yang diajarkan guru saat kegiatan belajar mengajar. Melalui penelitian kualitatif di dapatkan sebuah kesimpulan bahwa Pembelajaran PKn Tematik Melalui Media Smart Board Hybride Learning dapat membentuk karakter Critical Thinking pada siswa SD kelas 2 di SDN Watutulis. Abstract: Thematic subject matter of Civics is the study of character building, the implementation of rights and obligations, in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Character education is defined as an educator's pre-planned effort to educate or exploit the potential possessed by students, especially students. elementary school, in order to be able to build his personal character, and make individuals who are beneficial to society and their country. By inculcating character values, which are taught by teachers during teaching and learning activities. Through qualitative research, it was concluded that the Thematic Civics Learning through Smart Board Hybride Learning media can shape the character of Critical Thinking in grade 2 elementary school students at SDN Watutulis.
