Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of various doses of bokashi fertilizer on the growth response and production of local Konawe corn plants and to determine which treatment has the best effect on the application of various doses of bokashi fertilizer on the growth response and production of local corn plants in Konawe. This research took place at the Field Laboratory of Experimental Gardens II, Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University, Kendari. From January to March 2021. This study used a randomized block design consisting of 5 levels of treatment, namely control without bokashi fertilizer (B0), bokashi fertilizer 5 t ha-1(B1), bokashi fertilizer 10 t ha-1 (B2), bokashi fertilizer 15 t ha-1 (B3), bokashi fertilizer 20 t ha-1 (B4). Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 15 experimental units. The results showed that the observed variables had a very significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, cob weight, ear length (cm), wind-dried shell weight, weight of 100 seeds and productivity. The best treatment was obtained at doses of bokashi fertilizer of 20 t ha-1 (B4) and 15 t ha-1 (B3).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of the Al Fatah tofu processing business in Wulanga Jaya Village, West Muna Regency, and determine the sensitivity level of the financial feasibility of Al Fatah tofu processing business in Wulanga Jaya Village, West Muna Regency. Respondents were taken in this study as many as three people, namely one leader and two employees of the production division. The data analysis method used in this research uses the cost, income, and profit analysis formula. Meanwhile, to calculate business feasibility, the formulas used are Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C), Break Even Point (BEP), and Return On Investment (ROI). The results showed that the average profit received by the Al Fatah tofu processing business artisans was Rp. 74,669,880/year. Based on the calculation of business feasibility obtained R/C 4.06, production BEP value of 3,244 kg, BEP price of Rp. 184.31 and an ROI value of 30.69%, so the al Fatah tofu processing business in Wulanga Jaya Village, West Muna Regency, is feasible.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the income of Vaname shrimp farmers; and (2) knowing the marketing strategy of Vaname shrimp in Napalakura Village, Napabalano District, Muna Regency. This research was conducted in July 2019 in Napalakura Village, Napabalano District, Muna Regency. The population in this study were all pond farmers in Napalakura Village, Napabalano District, Muna Regency, totaling 15 pond farmers. The sample for internal factors consisted of 15 pond farmers, the sample for external factors consisted of 3 consumers. SWOT analysis is used to determine the strategy. The results showed that vaname shrimp farmers had an average production of 1,100 kg/2 ha with a selling price of Rp 38,000 / kg. Farmers' income is IDR 41,800,000 / 2 Ha. Total fixed costs are IDR 100,000 / 2 and variable costs IDR 12,600,000 / 2 Ha, and expenses of IDR 13,020,000 / 2 Ha. The total income earned by vaname shrimp farmers is IDR 27,780,000 / 2 Ha. The analysis of internal factors resulted in an IFAS of 3.15. Vaname shrimp farmers in Napalakura Village, have very good strength in their operations. External analysis factor of 3.65 for the EFAS matrix. This indicates that the van name shrimp farmers in Napalakura Village are in a very good position to further develop the cultivation, but it does not rule out the possibility of being alert to the existing threats.
