Abstract

Physics teachers need to mastery TPACK and teamwork skills because they were essential in work. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between TPACK mastery and teamwork skills. The research method used a causal-comparative. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 33 preservice physics teachers from Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa and Universitas Mulawarman. The data collection method used a questionnaire and an instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale in a web-based survey. This instrument is used to measure TPACK and teamwork skills. Data analysis techniques used Pearson's correlation and regression analysis. The results showed no significant relationship between mastery of TPACK and teamwork skills, as indicated by Pearson’s correlation value of 0.061 with a significance of 0.735. However, if further tested based on every aspect of the two variables, there is a significant correlation between technology knowledge (TK), technology content knowledge (TCK) on the mastery of TPACK, and communication aspects on teamwork skills. Based on the regression test, the result obtained more than 90%, the communication aspect of teamwork skills influenced by TK and TCK. Another finding is that the most dominant external factor that influences teamwork skills is gender

Abstract

Abstract Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a basic need that must be done by a teacher to find problems in their class to find the right solution in order to produce effective learning. In order to support this CAR for elementary school teachers, this service activity was carried out. This service aims to motivate teachers to carry out CAR, provide understanding to mentoring, from planning the CAR to making the final report. The method of community service is training, implementing and mentoring CAR activities. All activities were carried out online during the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity was attended by elementary school teachers from West Java and Banten. The training process is carried out online by describing material about CAR and discussions until the teachers find problems in their class. After that the implementation of each CAR cycle was recorded and then sent for discussion together. Assistance in making CAR proposals, improving learning every cycle, and making the final report were carried out intensively for one month. The results of this dedication show that teachers have increased their understanding of CAR. Through the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the understanding of CAR was increased, many ideas emerged to become problems and solutions in the CAR. So that they are motivated to carry out CAR to solve other problems in their class.

Abstract

It is common among students to develop their skills while studying, and it demands educators improve their learning quality. Development of an Advanced Virtual Physics Laboratory (Adphylab) in the Geiger-Muller Counter practicum to facilitate students' science process skills in the Physics Education of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the Rowntree development model. Adphylab in the Geiger muller counter practicum has four menus, including insight, design, time for action, and a summary called WaRa-WiRi which can be accessed easily via the web. The results of the due diligence by material experts at the Adphylab practicum Geiger muller counter obtained a percentage score of 94% with very feasible criteria, and the results of the due diligence by media experts obtained a percentage value of 96% with the very feasible category. The results of the students' limited test responses to Adphylab in the Geiger Muller Counter practicum obtained a score percentage of 90% in the very feasible category.
