Abstract

This paper focuses on the design of accounting information systems making in cooperative Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar. Where the current system is currently experiencing a lot of problems due to limited human resources, especially in managing partial phase still use the recording in the books and another part that is still simple to use application. This study uses structured design, program PHP, and MySQL as data storage and DB Designer as an analytical tool. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of designing a system that can help the processing of accounting data cooperative savings and loan information Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar and generate accounting reports on the management of savings and loans cooperatives Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the design of development decision support systems credit application in cooperative Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar. Where the current system is currently experiencing a lot of problems in the process of verifying the pleading file members. The verification process involves a lot of data files are still in the form of paper documents so susceptible to human error in data processing. This paper used a structured design, program PHP, MySQL as the data storage, and DB Designer as an analytical tool. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of designing a system that can help the processing of the data file members who apply for credit and designing a credit application decision support systems in cooperative Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar.

Abstract

A university needs IT strategic planning to be able to guide the future development of the university, one of them is Atma Jaya University of Makassar. The IT Implementation at Atma Jaya University of Makassar is currently still minimal because it has not utilized information technology well and thoroughly for operational purposes. This is due to the absence of IT strategic planning for the long term. The previous research has designed IT strategic planning using the Mobile Enterprise Architecture Framework. The documentation results from IT strategic planning have some recommendations of IT projects that can be implemented. The priority selection of IT project becomes very important in achieving IT strategic planning that has been designed. This research applies Analytical Hierarchy Process and utilizing Expert Choice tools to get priority from 20 recommended IT projects that related with IT strategic planning. There are 7 criteria of IT project implementation that is obtained from Head of BAPSI UAJM. The result of this research shows that IT project which is the main priority to be implemented is the Development of Student Portal and Lecturer with the priority scale of 0.109 and the lowest priority IT project is the Procurement of LAN Cable (0.011) because the network infrastructure in UAJM is currently sufficient to support the designed IT strategic planning.

Abstract

Information is data that has been processed into a form that has meaning for the recipient and is useful for current or future decision making. Information services that available at the University of Atma Jaya Makassar (UAJM) through the website created by the university. However, there is a problem that occurs that is the slow notification of information. Information disseminated by the university and faculty through the website is rarely accessed by students. In addition to the problems in channeling information from lecturers to students also become an problem such as the distribution of information about the assignments and the absence of lecturer. For this reason, creating an information service system that can help giving out the information quickly from lecturers and staff to students is needed. This information service system was created using the waterfall method to overcome the problem of late distribution of information to students. The waterfall method is one of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model which suggest a systematic approach and the process flows from one stage to another. The results of this study are an email based information service system where information services that have been made can facilitate students to obtain information both academic and non academic.

Abstract

BKAM had difficulty in reporting to SIMKATMAWA, in finding data on achievements and student activities that had been carried out. The purpose of this study is to design a student activity management system to support the performance of the UAJM student bureau and design the UAJM student data structure to fit the SIMKATMAWA. The author understands the scope of the ranking, some data from SIMKATMAWA will be used as needed in UAJM student activities that have not been well recorded. Student performance data management system designed for data management that helps collect data, manage and present useful data for SIMKATMAWA, in support of student data needs within the UAJM student body. The results of the research make it easy for student affairs bureaus to get information on student activities, so that the data can be used for SIMKATMAWA reporting purposes.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi informasi juga telah banyak digunakan pada organisasi, baik yang berorientasi pada profit maupun non-profit, seperti pada organisasi gereja. Gereja Katolik Santa Perawan Maria Diangkat ke Surga (GKSPMDkS) merupakan salah satu Gereja Katolik di kota Makassar. Seluruh kegiatan layanan umat masih bersifat manual sehingga pelayanan kepada umat, seperti pendataan data umat, permintaan surat keterangan, dan layanan lainnya berjalan lambat dan belum tertata dengan baik. Sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki oleh gereja sangat minim dibandingkan dengan jumlah umat. Pengambilan keputusan yang berhubungan dengan pelayanan kepada umat terkadang terjadi miss komunikasi antara Pastor Paroki dan anggota Dewan Pastoral sehingga dibutuhkan adanya pemanfaataan teknologi informasi untuk membantu proses pelayanan kepada umat, salah satunya dengan enterprise resource planning (ERP). ERP merupakan suatu cara untuk mengelola sumber daya perusahaan dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi. GKSPMDkS merupakan salah satu contoh organisasi bisnis yang berorientasi non-profit. Dengan adanya sistem ERP pada gereja diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektifitas layanan umat dan mengintegrasikan komunikasi antar umat dan pihak gereja. Komponen yang dimiliki dalam sistem ERP di GKSPMDkS adalah komponen Finansial, Inventory, Layanan Umat (Service), Proses Pelayanan, Pengelolaan SDM, Distribusi Informasi, dan Penjualan Benda Rohani. Seluruh komponen tersebut diintegrasikan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas pelayanan umat dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan TIK yang dimiliki. Hasil penentuan prioritas pengembangan sistem ERP di GKSPMDkS menggunakan metode AHP menunjukkan komponen sistem layanan umat (service) menjadi komponen yang paling prioritas untuk dikembangkan. Hasil perancangan sub sistem pendataan umat diharapkan menjadi backbone untuk pengembangan sistem ERP di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

SMA Gamaliel Makassar sebagai salah satu sekolah menengah atas swasta berakreditasi A yang ada di kota Makassar belum mampu mengolah data yang ada menjadi informasi yang berkualitas. Pengolahan data akademik maupun non akademik pada SMA Gamaliel Makassar selama ini tidak maksimal diakibatkan oleh entitas yang mengelola data kegiatan operasional terpisah, proses pengolahan dan pengumpulan data yang tidak lengkap masih belum efektif dan efisien membuat pengaksesan informasi sulit dan membutuhkan waktu lama, penyimpanan data tidak fleksibel dan jarang diperbarui, dan pengaksesan data terbatas pada entitas tertentu dan tidak dapat dilakukan secara real time. Hal ini menyebabkan informasi operasional sekolah yang cenderung terhambat dan berdampak pada layanan yang diberikan oleh sekolah. Pemodelan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) Sekolah bertujuan untuk mengintegrasi pengolahan data dan memperlancar arus informasi operasional yang dibutuhkan sekolah. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan analisis diagram tulang ikan dan pemodelan yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan pemodelan terstruktur.

Abstract

Along with the increase in population and the development of information technology, it is necessary to have a system that is able to support the process of improving health care. One of the weaknesses of the current health care system is the patient waiting time which is still below the established standard, which is less than 60 minutes. This study designed a patient registration system that can estimate the patient's arrival time based on the input symptoms. The use of QR Code technology and meeting applications helps to support patient registration and consultation. The research methodology uses the waterfall method by involving doctors and patients as data sources. Test results using black boxes indicate that the system is able to categorize patient care as expected. The system has also been able to function well functionally. It takes a process of updating symptoms periodically by doctors so that the system is able to recognize new symptoms that have not been recorded previously. With the estimated arrival time, the queue or crowd of patients in the waiting room can be minimized properly.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap layanan di pasar swalayan adalah efisiensi waktu. Mayoritas pasar swalayan masih menggunakan barcode. Implementasi teknologi ini menimbulkan permasalahan antrian di kasir baik pada saat pembacaan kode maupun transaksi pembayaran. Dalam mengatasi kelemahan dari teknologi barcode dapat memanfaatkan teknologi Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Dalam penelitian ini akan merancang sebuah sistem Point of Sale (POS) yang memanfaatkan teknologi RFID untuk mengatasi permasalahan antrian. Sistem RFID-POS kemudian disimulasikan sesuai dengan keadaan dari lokasi penelitian, yaitu Gelael Signature Makassar. Gelael Signature merupakan salah satu perusahaan ritel modern yang berbentuk swalayan di kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem RFID-POS yang dirancang telah mampu berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu, biaya investasi dari RFID-POS yang dirancang dapat menekan biaya investasi sebesar 76.17% dibandingkan penelitian sejenis sebelumnya.
