Abstract

Character education done in school has an impact/effect on forming students’ personality. Schools or any formal educational institutions are responsible for educating, forming, and planting character values on students by using the various methods, media either in classroom through teaching process or outer classroom through extracurricular activities. This paper aims to explore and describe the implementation of character education and the impact/effect on forming students’ personality in SDN Golo Gonggo. To achieve this goal, the authors conducted literature study and qualitative research method. Research data are collected by using observation, interview, and documentation method. The result of this research showed that, the implementation of the character education in building character education was conducted through three kinds of designes, such us: the culture of school, teaching-learning activity and extracurriculer program. The implementation of character education was done appropriate to the rues of school and the schedule that have been determined by the school. The effect of character education in forming the students’ personality of SDN Golo Gonggo were : (1). Students were be able for being polite and respectful for the olders. (2). Students have motivation and enthusiasm to continue learning and heaving good achievement. (3). Students have willingness and having enthusiasm in developing the proclivity and tallent. (4). Students were be able and creating and interaction with other people. (5). Students have good personality and having good physical appearance.

Abstract

The problem in this study is learning motivation of the elementary students. This paper wants to explore the role of teachers in increasing students' learning motivation. To explore this theme, the method used was qualitative research with the type of literature study. The results showed that the learning motivation of students in elementary schools was not optimal. This can be seen from the low desire to learn, not diligent in learning, likes to skip school hours, and shows less interest during learning. This problem can not be separated from the performance of teachers who have been focused on teaching activities. The teacher's personal touch on the basic problem in learning, namely learning motivation, has not been a concern of the teacher. For this reason, teachers must increase their role not only as teachers, but also as companions and motivators for student learning. The teacher's role in increasing students' learning motivation is to clarify the goals to be achieved, create a pleasant atmosphere in learning, use a variety of methods in learning, give praise for each student's success, give awards, evaluate, and give rewards and punishments.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi tantangan dan strategi yang diterapkan guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di era pandemi di MAN Ruteng. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Untuk keperluan wawancara individu, dipilih lima guru secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah WhatsApp, google classroom, messenger, dan facebook karena dapat digunakan dan diperoleh dengan mudah dan sebagian besar siswa memiliki ponsel. Kemudian tantangan yang dapat diidentifikasi adalah fasilitas penunjang pembelajaran dan lokasi domisili siswa. Sedangkan guru menerapkan strategi praktis aplikatif dalam menangani hambatan kegiatan pembelajaran selama masa pandemic.Abstract: This study explores the challenges and strategies applied in teaching and learning activities in the pandemic era at MAN Ruteng. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. For the purposes of individual interviews, five teachers were taken purposively. The results showed that the learning media used were WhatsApp, google classroom, messenger, and Facebook. They are used and obtained easily, and most students have cellphones. Then the challenges that can be identified are learning support facilities and student domicile locations. Meanwhile, teachers apply practical strategies in dealing with barriers to learning activities during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study's objective was to determine and evaluate the impact of compensation and the workplace on teachers' performance in private schools, involving 70 teachers. The survey method is used in this study. A questionnaire technique was used to collect data. Path analysis was used to examine the data. The study's findings indicate that there is a direct relationship between pay and teacher performance with a Sig. 0.00 < 0.05, a direct relationship between the work environment and teacher performance with a Sig. 0.00 < 0.05, and a direct relationship between pay and the work environment. The study's conclusion is that the increase in teacher performance is determined by the compensation provided by the school and an adequate work environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the principal as a manager and the performance of teachers in the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gorontalo District. In research that uses this type of quantitative research, the population is a saturated sample, with the number studied 32 people. The data analysis technique used a questionnaire, and the data analysis technique used was moment data analysis. Based on the research results, there is a positive/significant relationship between the role of the head of the madrasah as a manager and the performance of teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gorontalo District. This is indicated by the results of calculating the performance coefficient between the teacher performance score (variable Y) and the role of the madrasah principal as manager (variable X), which was obtained at 32.15%. This shows that the principal as a manager and teacher performance has a strong enough relationship, namely: 0.567 and positive, which means that the relationship between the head of the madrasah and a manager increases, so the teacher's performance will also increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher performance and teacher academic qualifications on the quality of education. Education is very important as one of the determinants of the quality of human resources. The type of research used is quantitative research with a design determination and type of research ex post facto. The population in this study were all Darul Iman Private Madrasah Aliyah (MAS) teachers in Palu City. The sample in the study was taken by 20 teachers. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and multiple regression. The results of the study found that there was a significant influence between teacher performance on the quality of education at the Darul Iman Private Madrasah Aliyah (MAS) in Palu City, as evidenced by the t value of 3,847 > 2,110 t table. Furthermore, there is a significant influence between the teacher's academic qualifications on the education quality of Darul Iman Private Madrasah Aliyah (MAS) in Palu City, as evidenced by the t-count value of 10,213 > 2,110 t-table. The results of this study indicate that there is a jointly significant relationship between teacher performance and academic qualifications on the education quality of Darul Iman Private Madrasah Aliyah (MAS) Palu City.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang program pelatihan guru lintas provinsi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Indonesia. Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam mencapai pendidikan yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan. Program pelatihan guru lintas provinsi dirancang untuk memfasilitasi pertukaran pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan praktik terbaik antara guru dari berbagai provinsi. Melalui program ini, guru-guru dapat belajar satu sama lain tentang strategi pengajaran yang efektif, metode penilaian yang inovatif, dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menarik. Pelatihan guru lintas provinsi juga memberikan kesempatan bagi guru-guru untuk mengembangkan jaringan profesional yang kuat. Mereka dapat berkolaborasi dengan rekan sejawat dari provinsi lain, berbagi sumber daya, dan membangun hubungan yang saling menguntungkan. Hal ini dapat memperkaya pengalaman profesional mereka dan meningkatkan kompetensi dalam melaksanakan tugas sebagai pendidik. Selain itu, program ini juga memfasilitasi transfer pengetahuan dari pusat ke daerah. Guru-guru yang telah mengikuti pelatihan dapat menjadi agen perubahan di provinsi mereka masing-masing, mengimplementasikan strategi dan inovasi yang telah mereka pelajari dalam pelatihan. Dengan demikian, program ini dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran secara luas di seluruh Indonesia. Artikel ini juga membahas tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi dalam implementasi program pelatihan guru lintas provinsi, seperti kendala logistik, biaya, dan koordinasi antarprovinsi. Oleh karena itu, perencanaan dan pengorganisasian yang matang perlu dilakukan untuk memastikan kesuksesan program ini. Dalam kesimpulannya, program pelatihan guru lintas provinsi memiliki potensi yang besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Indonesia. Dengan menggali pengetahuan dan pengalaman dari guru-guru terbaik di berbagai provinsi, program ini dapat menjadi sarana yang efektif untuk menghasilkan pendidikan yang lebih baik dan berkualitas di masa depan.

Abstract

This study identifies instances of technological advancement where AI was used in an intelligent classroom. A learner is more likely to learn concepts via a visual medium than from a literary one, such as smart classrooms and virtual reality programs. The inability to collaborate in education utilizing AI to create a smart classroom for increasing student learning and developing achievements was one of the new technologies' shortcomings. The idea behind that is to teach the learner through visual materials that are significantly easier for them to understand and retain than text-based lessons. The smart classroom makes decisions about how measurement data and classes of elegant class features can contribute to and lead to implementing training methods for manageable improvement in the act of authentic teaching forcefully. This study's methodology focuses on providing a review of the various types of smart classroom technologies that are now available. The outcome demonstrates the considerable influence and suggests improving additional technologies utilized in smart classrooms. The Smart level demonstrates how 3D symbolism and learning techniques are used to study and understand various concepts. This article offers a thorough analysis of the smart classroom and how it can significantly advance the utilization of technology development approaches
