Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi nilai perilaku yang benar yang merupakan salah satu fokus nilai humanistik yang ditinjau dari monolog, dialog, dan latihan dalam buku teks pelajaran bahasa Inggris SMA kelas X penerbit Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tahapan pembacaan buku teks secara seksama, mengidentifikasi, pengkodean, dan pengklasifikasian. Prosedur analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi oleh Philip Marying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) nilai perilaku yang benar yang mendominasi ditinjau dari teks latihan adalah nilai kemampuan beretika dengan indikator pola aturan. (2) Nilai perilaku yang benar yang mendominasi ditinjau dari teks dialog adalah nilai kemampuan sosial dengan indikator hubungan baik. (3) Nilai perilaku yang benar yang mendominasi ditinjau dari teks monolog adalah nilai dalam kemampuan beretika dengan indikator ketekunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai perilaku yang benar dengan kemampuan beretika pola aturan, ketekunan dan kemandirian belajar, serta kemampuan bersosial dengan indikator hubungan baik yang terdapat dalam teks monolog, teks latihan, dan teks dialog buku teks bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Abstrak: Guru bahasa Prancis di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan merupakan ujung tombak dalam memperkenalkan bahasa Prancis kepada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Melalui merekalah, para siswa mengenal bahasa Prancis. Oleh karena itu, guru bahasa Prancis sebagai sumber belajar siswa seyogyanya memiliki sertifikat kompetensi bahasa Prancis tingkat DELF B2. Salah satu kemampuan kebahasaan yang diujikan adalah kemampuan membaca. Agar guru-guru yang mengikuti ujian DELF B2 memiliki strategi dalam mengerjakan ujian, diperlukan pelatihan. Pelatihan yang dilakukan untuk guru-guru tersebut berupa latihan mengerjakan soal-soal kemampuan Membaca pada ujian DELF dengan menggunakan metode interaktif. Pelatihan berlangsung selama 4 kali pertemuan à 5 jam. Evaluasi diberikan sebanyak dua kali. Evaluasi kedua menghasilkan 2 peserta memperoleh nilai A, 6 peserta memperoleh nilai B dan 6 peserta bernilai C. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan memahami teks mereka meningkat setelah diberikan pelatihan.Abstract:  French teachers in vocational schools are the spearhead in introducing French to high school students. Through them, students learn French. Therefore, French teachers as a source of student learning should have a certificate of French competence at the DELF B2 level. One of the language skills tested is reading comprehension. For teachers who take the DELF B2 exam to have a strategy for taking the exam, training is needed. Training conducted for these teachers is in the form of exercises to work on reading questions on the DELF exam using interactive methods. The training lasts for 4 meetings à 5 hours. Evaluation is given twice. The second evaluation resulted in 2 participants getting an A, 6 participants getting a B and 6 participants having a C. The calculation results showed that the ability to understand the texts improved after being given training.

Abstract

The research aimed at identifying the types of errors and the frequency of types of errors in using the simple present tense, simple past tense, and simple future tense in job advertisements. The research was qualitative research. The qualitative method used was content analysis. The data of the research were taken from the errors of simple present tense, simple past tense, simple future tense usage in the job advertisements. While the source of data was taken from job advertisements in www.jobstreet.com. There were twenty texts taken as samples. The data analysis used the theory from Ellis that there were several steps in analyzing errors which include collecting data samples, identifying data, describing errors, explaining errors and evaluating error (Ellis, 1994). The result showed that the errors in using simple present tense were higher than in using simple future tense. In the use of simple present tense, there were two errors of auxiliary omission (66,67%), and one (33,33%) error of verb misinformation. In the use of simple past tense, there was zero (0%) error. In the use of simple future tense, there were one (50%) error of verb + ing omission and one error (50%) of verb + ing misinformation. The result of the study can be used as input to avoid further errors.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam menulis naskah pidato melalui model Problem Based Learning. Latar belakang penelitian berawal dari peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai rendah dalam keterampilan menulis, lemahnya penguasaan kosakata, dan kurang tepatnya model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IX Mts Sirojul Athfal Ciawi, Bogor pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian kualitatif. Data yang digunakan melalui beberapa cara yakni : Observasi, tes awal, postes, catatan kolabolator dan tes akhir. Berdasarkan tes awal peneliti membuat rencana tindakan sesuai dengan model Problem Based Learning yang kemudian diimplementasikan melalui dua siklus untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis naskah pidato. Instrumen dari penelitian tindakan ini adalah berupa tes, beberapa aspek yang dinilain diantaranya idea atau contents, organization, word choice, sentence fluency, dan convention. Data yang dianalisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. hasil penelitian menunjukan ketuntasan belajar menulis pada pra observasi 66,25%, siklus satu 72,05% dan siklus dua 83,78%. Peningkatan kemampuan menulis Naskah Pidato melalui model PBL mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Vocabulary plays an important role in learning a foreign language. In order to communicate well in a foreign language, students should learn adequate number of words and should know how to use them accurately (Huyen & Nga, 2003). Moreover, students usually feel bored quickly as teachers often use conventional methods of teaching especially in teaching vocabulary (Zou, Wang, Xie, & Kohnke, 2018). This study was investigating the students’ cognitive engagement in learning vocabulary throughEducard media. The objectives of this study was to find out the way Educard facilitated the students’ cognitive engagement in learning vocabulary through Educard and students’ responses. The participant of this research is students of eighth grade in one of junior high school.This study used qualitative approach. The data were collected by distributing the questionnaire, interview to 5 students of eighth grade and documentation. To analyze the data, this research adopted Miles, Huberman Saldaña (2014) techniques; data collection, reduction, display and verification. It showed students are facilitated by using Educard as learning mdia to learn vocabulary and engage them cognitively. There are many kind of cognitive engagement has been engaged in their learning while using Educard to learn English vocabulary such as : self- regualted learning, resource management, recepience and taks focus. Abstract

The Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers states that one of the duties of teachers and lecturers as professional education personnel is to plan, carry out a quality learning process, assess and evaluate learning outcomes. The expected learning outcomes are able to deliver students to have communication skills, collaboration skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills, creativity and innovation skills. . In response to this, teachers and lecturers must improve and develop academic qualifications and competencies on an ongoing basis according to the times. To realize this, teachers and lecturers can take part in training. The P2M team of UNJ's French Language Education Study Program has organized Activités Ludiques (language games) training, namely training to teach French through innovative language games, which can deliver students to communicate, think critically, innovatively, creatively in accordance with the demands of this century. The training lasted for 20 hours, the participants consisted of French teachers at SMK and SMA in Jakarta. During the training they received material in the form of various language game platforms namely Kahoot, Quizizz, Learning Apps, Quizlet, Educative Logiciel, Jeu de l'oie, Qu'est-ce qu'il manque. With this training, the P2M Team of the French Language Education Study Program, UNJ hopes that the training participants, consisting of French vocational high school and high school teachers in Jakarta, can improve their competence and professionalism.

Abstract

Sidney Sheldon's novel Tell Me Your Dreams is one of the novels with the theme of dissociative disorder, namely a personality disorder in which an individual has more than one distinct personality. The purpose of this research is to describe the main character's personality, the forms of dissociative disorder experienced by the main character, as well as the causes and effects of dissociative disorder in the main character. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method using a literary psychology approach. The results of the analysis show that the character Ashley Patterson has several dissociative disorders. Ashley's forms of dissociative disorder include dissociative amnesia, dissociative fugu, dissociative identity, and depersonalization. Dissociative disorders are divided into three parts which can be seen from their characteristics, form, and causes, namely having multiple personalities.Novel Tell Me Your Dreams karya Sidney Sheldon adalah salah satu novel yang mengangkat tema gangguan disosiatif, yakni gangguan kepribadian di mana seorang individu memiliki lebih dari satu kepribadian yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kepribadian tokoh utama, entuk gangguan disosiatif yang dialami tokoh utama, serta penyebab dan akibat gangguan disosiatif pada tokoh utama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Ashley Patterson memiliki beberapa gangguan disosiatif. Bentuk gangguan disosiatif yang dialami Ashley, meliputi: amnesia disosiatif, fugu disosiatif, identitas disosiatif dan depersonalisasi. Gangguan disosiatif dibagi tiga bagian yang dapat dilihat dari ciri-ciri, bentuk, dan penyebabnya, yakni berkepribadian majemuk.
