Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor sosial dan faktor sosial yang dominan berpengaruh terhadap pergeseran bahasa Lowa terhadap pergeseran bahasa Lowa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu, dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Data penelitian terdiri atas data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data bahwa ada tiga faktor sosial yang memengaruhi pergeseran Bahasa Lowa meliputi: (1) Faktor jenis kelamin; (2) Faktor umur); (3) Faktor Tingkat Pendidikan. Adapun faktor yang paling dominan memengaruhi pergeseran Bahasa Lowa yakni faktor umur. Bahasa Lowa sudah sangat jarang digunakan oleh anak-anak maupun anak muda, penutur bahasa Lowa umumnya adalah masyarakat yang berusia tua. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa kondisi bahasa Lowa sudah berada di ambang kepunahan (nearly extinct).

Abstract

Pendidikan moral sangat diperlukan untuk ditanamkan dalam usia dini. Pondasi moral anak-anak diera perkembangan media informasi yang global, banyak terdegredasi oleh pengaruh-pengaruh dari budaya luar yang sangat terasa dan mudah masuk melalui media digital dan informasi sosial seiring dengan perkembangan internet.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi pendidikan tambahan serta pemahaman tentang pentingnya pendidikan moral yang berasaskan nilai-nilai pancasila bagi siswa di SD Muhammadiyah Makotyamsa distrik Myamuk Kabupaten Sorong. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan penyuluhan bagi siswa dan guru sekolah dasar. Dalam rangka membentuk karakter siswa yang berdasarkan moral pancasila salah satu aspek yang dikembangkan ialah pendidikan nilai. Pendidikan nilai dan moral sejak usia dini diharapkan mampu membentuk siswa untuk mampu membedakan baik buruk, benar salah, sehingga anak dapat menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu pendidikan nilai-nilai moral pancasila. Pendidikan nilai moral dilakukan melalui beberapa pendekatan, yaitu; 1) Indokrinasi 2) Klarifikasi Nilai, 3) Teladan atau Contoh, 4.) Pembiasaan dalam perilaku baik diberikan melalui pendidikan formal maupun nonformal diharapkan mampu menciptakan rasa toleransi bagi anak dalam bermasyarakat.

Abstract

Pronunciation test in using the English Pronunciation British application is very important for students but many vocations provide English material that is still general and not specific to the style. This research aimed to determine the students' abilities and mistakes in pronouncing long and short vowels in English vocabulary. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The pronunciation test was used as an instrument for the research. First, a pronunciation test is given to students to read 20 words of vocabulary. Researchers used recordings in the English Pronunciation application to obtain data. Researchers analyzed students' needs using descriptive analysis. According to the research results, the respondent's ability in pronouncing long vowels has a score of 804% and short vowels have a score of 840%. The problem that the respondent is aware of is the pronunciation of long vowels which have a low score. Teachers must be creative enough to design better techniques that can arouse student motivation and encourage students to read more English vocabulary in the pronunciation of long and short vowels.

Abstract

Indonesia's economic growth still has a significant impact during the COVID-19 pandemic. Various efforts have been made by the government to prevent the spread of the virus by implementing the Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) policy to the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). This is implemented to avoid crowds and all activities can only be done at home (work from home), including satisfy consumptive needs. During the pandemic, there is the right choice to transact only from home or where we are currently, namely the use of digital e-wallet payments. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived risk, financial knowledge and government support on user’s interest of e-wallet with perceived usefulness as an intervening variable in Sulawesi Island. Data was collected through a questionnaire or google form and then analyzed using the Smart-PLS 3.0 software. The sample is 384 e-wallet users who are in the Sulawesi Island with the criteria that they have used e-wallet since March 2019 until now. The results of the study prove that of the seven direct relationships there is only one relationship does not have a significant effect, namely government support does not effects e-wallet user’s interest. While the other three indirect relationships proved to have a significant effect.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted with the aim of proving that teaching English through word association can develop the vocabulary of the second year students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Amin Sorong. The sample of the research was 31 students in VIII A class at SMP Muhammadiyah Al Amin Sorong. In collecting the data he used tests (Pre-test and Post-test). The research applied pre-test and post-test one group design. The instrument of data collection was a test. The data analyzed statistically. The result of the data analysis has shown that there was a significant difference between the results of pre-test and post-test. It was proved through the testing hypothesis, i.e. applying 0.05 level significance with 30 (31-1) the degree of freedom (df), the researcher found that t-test (7.3) was greater than the value of the t-table (1.697). In conclusion, the word association was effective to be used in teaching English Vocabulary.

Abstract

  Zakiyah Anwar, RuslanPM FKIP UMS, PBI FKIP UMS1zakiyahanwar3377@mail.com, 2ruslanruse89@gmail.com, AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Model Pembelajaran Somatic Auditory Visualization  Intellectually Kinesthetic (SAVIK) yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode dalam penelitian ini  adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), design penelitian ini menggunakan desing menurut Richey and Klein yaitu Planning (Perancangan), Production (memproduksi), Evaluation (evaluasi). Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VII A yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki produk yaitu Modul Model Pembelajaran SAVIK. Dari hasil validasi dan uji coba, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengembangan model pembelajaran SAVIK telah memenuhi kevalidan sebesar 3,8 , kepraktisan yaitu angket respon guru sebesar 78% dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan rata-rata 3,3 dan keefektifan yaitu hasil belajar sebesar 80% sedangkan angket respon siswa sebesar 75%.dan berdasarkan implementasi model pembelajaran SAVIK menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 80% atau 25 siswa yang mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM. Uji-t diperoleh  adalah 4,288 sedangkan untuk  adalah 1,699 dengan nilai df = n-1 = 29. Karena  yaitu 4,288 1,699 hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang nilainya diatas KKM (60,0).

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan ujicoba terbatas yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada pokok bahasan Sistem Persamaan Linear dan Kuadrat yang terdiri dari Buku Siswa, Lembar Kegiatan Siswa, dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Al Amin Kota Sorong. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Thiagarajan atau model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) yang meliputi empat tahap, yaitu tahap pembatasan, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap penyebaran. Hasil dari Validasi instrument dari dua validator menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran memiliki derajat validitas dan layak untuk di gunakan. Hasil uji coba terbatas perangkat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah efektif dan praktis dengan perolehan skor rata-rata hasil tes belajar siswa adalah 82,17 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 10,34. dengan perangkat pembelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, siswa jadi lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran; pada umumnya siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap perangkat pembelajaran, tingkat kemampuan guru dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, artinya penampilan guru dapat dipertahankan. Penelitian ini sangat penting untuk terus dikembangkan agar dalam pembelajaran di kelas siswa dapat belajar lebih aktif dan efektif.

Abstract

The objective of this research described the application of Brain-Based learning to be used in teaching reading comprehension to the first year students of MA As’adiyah Ereng-Ereng Bantaeng Regency. The method was used by the research was descriptive quantitative method. The variables of this research were independent variable (the application of Brain Based Learning) and dependent variable (Teaching Reading Comprehension). The population of this research was the first year students of MA As’adiyah Ereng-Ereng Bantaeng Regency in academic year 2010/2011.The total number of population was 22 students. The sample of the research was 22 students which were taken by using total sampling technique. The instrument of this research was reading comprehension test. The result of the data indicated that there was a good classification. The mean score of post-test was (80) and standard deviation in post-test was 9.1. Based on the finding and discussion of the research, the researcher drawn a conclusion that the application of Brain Based Learning was good to be used in teaching reading comprehension to first year students of MA As’adiyah Ereng-Ereng.

Abstract

This research was exploring the use of English for a specific purpose by hotel receptionists in Sorong city. The data was conducted with quantitative but is not pure students. To collect data, the researchers used instruments such as written tests, questionnaires,s and speaking as instruments. The data was analyzed to descriptive analysis. The result of the study shows that the receptionists’ ability in using English for specific purposes was poor. It was shown by a written test that consisted of technical terms in the hotel. Highest data through an English film, English books. But on the other hand, hotel management never played to improve their English speaking ability, particularly in English coursework, English training, English seminar inside and outside the hotel.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the ability of critical thinking of Extrovert Boys in Problem Solving. This research used qualitative descriptive that conducted at di SMP Muhammadiyah 8 and the students of VII grade as subject and the object is critical thinking skill in problem solving. It used Eysenck Personality inventory-A (EPI-A) test for the instrument which conducted in the first meeting to all students, problem solving test was given to 6 extrovert boys and interview. Problem solving strategy used to know critical thinking skill by giving personality EPI-A test in the first meeting on students of VII grades to find respondents, 6 extrovert boys. After finding the respondents,the next step is giving problem solving test. The researcher interviewed the result of respondents. Findings showed that : 1) High critical thinking of extrovet boys werenot success in strategy step, only in alternative solution; 2) Moderate critical thinking of extrovet boys werenot success in strategy step, only in alternative solution, and 3) Low critical thinking of extrovet boys werenot success in inference and strategy step.
