Abstract

Makalah ini membahas tentang prediksi beban listrik untuk jangka waktu beberapa tahun kedepan dengan menggunakan metode bakpropoagasi. Metode backpropagasi terdiri dari satu atau beberapa layar tersembunyi. Metode ini menggunakan masukan data beban sebagai data pelatihan untuk mencari bobot yang optimal. Dalam makalah ini akan menggunakan beban listrik dari Pulau Bali. Disini terlihat bahwa metode backpropagasi bisa digunakan untuk memprediksi beban listrik Pulau bali sampai pada tahun 2035.

Abstract

Photovoltaics (PV) cell adalah sebuah elemen yang dapat melakukan konversi energi dari radiasi akibat panas matahari menjadi energi listrik dengan prinsip semikonduktor. Tegangan dan arus listrik yang dihasilkan sel surya dipengaruhi oleh tingkat intensitas radiasi cahaya matahari dan temperatur udara lingkungan. Alat yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini didesain dengan menggunakan metode lookup table yang dibuat dengan memakai 2 motor sebagai penggerak sumbu x dan y dalam menentukan koordinat dari posisi matahari yang digunakan sebagai penentu intensitas radiasi matahari di Pulau Batam. Perangkat ini juga terintegrasi dengan waktu menggunakan real time clock module.

Abstract

Sei Temiang Livestock in Batam, produce roundabout ±50 m3 of cow faeces each month. Usually, some of this waste is taken away by villagers to be used as raw material of fertilizer. To increase its value, the excrement can be utilized as source of alternative energy before the remnants are applied as organic manure. This research use baloon type as the digester of biogas power plant due to reasons such as simple installation, easy to be overhauled, and the cost is quite affordable. This prototype use a mixture of cow excrement and water with proportion of 1:1. Gas equivalent to 624 litre can be gained from 1 plastic drum which is able to turn on the electricity for 35 minutes with power capacity of 700 watts.

Abstract

Electric energy monitoring device on smartphone-based refrigerators are intended as part of an energy saving campaign. This device works with the principle of regulating the power of the refrigerator based on the parameters of the temperature and starting time of the refrigerator. If the temperature has stabilized, the refrigerator will automatically turned off so that electrical energy consumption can be reduced. This device is also connected to an Android-based application so that the device's performance can also be regulated via mobile phones with certain variables.

Abstract

Flow Meter Trainer Kit is designed because of the limited associated laboratory equipment at Politeknik Negeri Batam. Flow Meter Trainer Kit is a measuring tool for fluid flow which is equipped with the addition of pressure in the form of visual aids. In general, the process of water flow begins with a full filling of water tanks and then the pump will work to flow the water through pipes, passing pressure meters and rotameters whose duty is to read the results of fluid flow discharge measurements while adjusting the amount of fluid flow. Furthermore, water will flow through the water flow sensor and back into the tank. The practicum module will be developed based on this trainer kit.

Abstract

Brushless DC motor is applied in many field of industries, one of which transportation sector. The operation of BLDC motor need a speed control system as commutation process since it does not applied any brush. This research using an Arduino nano as its microcontroller to regulate the switching driver mosfet with IR2103 type. This mosfet driver is used to trigger mosfet switching at iverter 3 phase circuit so that power from battery can flow to BLDC motor. Mosfet type is STP75NF75 with Vds 75 Volt and Ids 80 Amps, while type of motor used is BLDC 350 watt and 36 Volt. The BLDC motor has Hall Effect sensor as rotor positioning detection. As for the commutation process, PWM is used as pulse modulation which is represented the motor speed and frequency of PIN default of Arduino. Speed earned is 224-340 rpm with power consumption of 20-21 Watts.

Abstract

This research was conducted to increase the reliability of UVC lamp irradiation in killing viruses. Since it was first discovered in November 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic has spread all around us and claimed many lives. Various precautions have been taken by the government and individuals. One of the preventions that can be done is to sterilize the room or object surface by using UV light. To kill the virus, type C ultraviolet (UV) light can be used. With a dose of 220J/m² it produces a reduction in the SARS-CoV-2 or covid-19 virus in the air or a surface. The problem that arises is, the UVC lamp used is only limited to on-off with an erratic duration. This tool is expected to be able to perform calculations automatically to determine the duration of the irradiation just by entering the room area information. For user safety when using UVC rays, this tool will also be equipped with a remote control and presence sensor.

Abstract

Washing hands is something that is always urged to be done lately. This pandemic makes washing hands a habit that must be accomplished before and after doing activities. Automatic hand washing is one way to reduce the spread of the virus because it can be used without having to touch the device directly. The development of automatic tools for washing hands is the crucial need for an alternative power source that is fuel-efficient and uncomplicated in terms of maintenance. The eco-friendly electrical source is needed to be implemented to reduce the electricity bills such as using the solar panel as the alternative power source. As an effort to support handwashing activities, the procurement of solar panels as a source of electrical energy is expected to be able to provide simple solutions to prevent the spread of Covid -19 and to make the environment clean and energy-efficient.

Abstract

Sistem pemantau kuliatitas udara via web berbasis wireless network didesign sebagai sebuah jaringan telekomunikasi yang terkait secara nirkabel. Untuk mengetahui nilai dari kualitas udara di suatu wilayah yang ditetapkan secara real, maka perlu membangun sebuah sistem pemantauan kualitas udara. Pada penelitian ini akan digambarkan suatu rancang bangun dari sistem pemantau kualitas udara dengan memanfaatkan arduino yang dapat di akses melalui website. Perangkat ini dirancang dengan menggunakan arduino, sensor MQ7, hosting apache offline dan perangkat Wi-Fi ESP8266. Implementasi dari pengoperasian perangakat arduino yang digabungkan dengan ESP8266 ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pengaturan dalam mengatasi masalah pengumpulan data ataupun pemantauan kondisi lingkungan yang sulit dijangkau, dengan perangkat yang portable dengan sistemyang lebih dinamis, dan dapat diakses melalui website sehingga dapat mengakses infromasi data pembacaan sensor dari jarak jauh secara real.
