Abstract

Sentiment analysis as part of text mining research domain has been being recognized due to the successful implementation in social media analysis. Sentiment analysis methods had intelligent ability to classify texts into negative or positive. Classified texts concluded whole users respond and described opinion polarity about particular topic. Based on this idea, this research took e-learning’s users opinion as object to be measured through sentiment analysis. The results can be used to evaluate the e-learning activity. This research had been implemented in Widyatama University which had been running e-learning activity for several years. Qualitative method by given questioner to users and gather the feedback is commonly used as evaluation of e-learning system previously. Still, questioner doesn’t represent the conclusion about the whole opinion. Hence, it needs the method to identify opinion polarity from e-learning member. The e-learning opinion data sets were gathered from questioner filled by e-learning member included both student and lecturer as participants. The participants gave review about learning outcome after their participation in e-learning activity. Their opinion was needed to describe current situation about e-learning activity. Therefore, the conclusion could be used to make improvement and described few achievements about the e-learning system. The data sets trained by Naïve Bayes classifier to group each user respond into negative or positive. The classification results were also evaluated by a number of particular evaluation metric used in data mining to show the classifier performance such as accuracy, precision, and recall.

Abstract

Machine translation has developed more effectively to be specified as modern linguistics characterization. It indicates the formalization of translating process by machine within humanly approaching. Recently, in order to help people communicate indirectly through written, machine translation has its own system to break and match the codes through comprehensive database of words pocket. In linguistics perspective, machine translation always be assisted by its definite performance through derivative computational system. The problem appears when users need to translate ambiguous sentence from English to Bahasa Indonesia or vice versa. The paper used rule-based system which contains particular parts in order to run the process of translating; starts from tokenization, pre-processing, reordering and morphological process which lead to output accuracy. And used syntactic diagram translation, which was carried out manually by generating sentences into small units. The result of this research showed that RBS runs by standard linguistics system; and the output of translating refer to basic translation without giving any alternative translation nor meaning. While using syntactic diagram, there are possibility to get alternative result not only by linguistics features but also based on signification meaning of both translations. Those techniques run by considering linguistics features in order to help users to get translation output better.

Abstract

Creating student’s interest in supply chain learning is most crucial and significant to achieve better outcomes. It is challenging for the teachers to develop student’s interest in learning. Teachers have been developing and establishing new techniques to stimulate students interest. Therefore, in this direction, the main purpose of this study is to ensure the student’s interest in supply chain education with the help of teacher’s willingness and ability. Furthermore, the moderating role of fun learning by the teacher for enhancing the student’s interest has also been discussed. Besides this was a cross sectional study. Sample size of this study was 300 students of schools. 5-point Likert scale was used to collect the response. Smart PLS software was used to analyze the data. Findings of this study were that teacher’s willingness and ability created interest with the help of fun learning which increases supply chain performance (SCP). Further, it’s also been concluded that fun learning put a strong effect in enhancing student’s creativity and SCP.

Abstract

In Systemic Functional Language (SFL), texts are analyzed by their transitivity system; and for the process are well-known as transitivity process. Practically, text parsing takes much time, since the part of text should be parsed manually and analyzed partially. By optimizing UAM corpus tool, the parsing process will get maximum results. UAM concerns on manual as well as semi-automatic annotation because of its lack of accuracy using automatic annotation. In this research, the texts are crawled from The Jakarta Post news article, especially in the form of online data. Those data (texts) are generated by UAM in order to get transitivity properties. The data are taken from February to March which contain Covid-19 issues in Indonesia. The result shows that between the time periods from February to March, the transitivity process regarding to the issue of Covid-19 in Indonesia has changed. It especially refers to the three process; material, mental and verbal process. During that period, material process slightly decreases from 58.72% to 57.59%, which emerges an assumption that people in Indonesia start to decrease their physical activity in March. While in mental process, it significantly elevates from 5.03% to 7.59% which could be assumed that people, including government, tend to think about the issue more seriously. While in the verbal process, it grows by about 2% from 16.11% in February to 18.62% in March which leads to an assumption that people have spread out the issue or the news to the other.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative on adaptation to independent learning independent campus (MBKM) into the curriculum of study programs, especially on the survey result of questionnaire shared by DIKTI to the whole elements at university. Adaptation focused on concept study program curriculum development model and activity program implementation MBKM. The curriculum development model includes the MBKM policy design in higher education institutions, the design of the standard operational standards for the implementation of MBKM, the academic collaboration and identification of program support resource needs. This study aims to find out the survey results implementation of the MBKM program at the Faculty of Languages Widyatama University in supporting the vision and mission of the University. In addition, this study purposes to comprehend knowledge related to the MBKM program, the MBKM curriculum and to find out the obstacles encountered during program implementation and relation in shaping the character of students to be professional. The result of this study showed that 99.89% has familiar with MBKM program through the socialization program carried out by university. Besides, the curriculum of MBKM has been implemented at Faculty of Languages in both departments, within the transition phase.
