Abstract

Terdapat keterbatasan sumber belajar siswa dan sarana pembelajaran yang terdapat di SMP Negeri 1 Kendal. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah media pembelajaran matematika SMP berbasis android berorientasi UoS pada materi lingkaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan nilai pretest terendah yaitu kelas VIII G sebanyak 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Matematika SMP berbasis android berorientasi UoS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

On August 18, 1945, for the first time the President and Vice President were elected by PPKI. In the early days of the administration, the power of the President in running the government was not only based on Articles 4.5,10,11,12,13,14 and 15 of the 1945 Constitution, but also based on Article IV of the Transitional Rules which read "Before the MPR, DPR and DPA were formed all power run by the President with the help of a National Committee. Based on the provisions of the provisions of Article IV, the President has enormous power. So that the President can legitimately act as a dictator, because the presence of the Central National Committee which has a role in assisting the President's task cannot at all be interpreted as a reduction in the power of the President. The history of the Republic of Indonesia has proven that the 1945 Constitution has undergone a very rapid development and within two months of the 1945 Constitution there has been a change in the state administration practices of the Republic of Indonesia, after the issuance of the Decree of the Vice President Number X dated October 16, 1945.From the description above, actually it has not carried out the articles of the 1945 Constitution, because the article used is precisely the article of the Transitional Rules. For example, the President and Vice President according to the 1945 Constitution should be elected by the MPR in accordance with Article 6 paragraph (2), but chosen by PPKI according to Article III of the Transitional Rules. This is certainly understandable, because this is the first time in delivering a country. President Soekarno's power with democracy was dreamed up not to uphold the values of popular sovereignty, but what was upheld was the power of the leader and even very tragically Sukarno was appointed as President for life through the MPRS decree and this included the violation of the 1945 Constitution. the political stage replacing Soekarno's violation of the 1945 Constitution was repeated, because the 1945 Constitution could not be formed by anyone.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of different temperatures storage on the value of pH, water holding capacity, water activities, Total Plate Count and Escherichia coli contamination of beef meatballs during storage. The result showed that the highest pH value was in the freezer storage (5.83 ± 0.023). The highest value of water holding capacity was obtained at treatment dingingerator storage (23.33 ± 7.026 % water-free), while the results of the analysis of variance showed that effect of different temperature storage was not signiicant (P <0.05) to the water holding capacity. Aw values in this study ranged from 0.854 to 0.908. Aw values at refrigerator and freezer storage were signiicantly higher (P> 0.05) than the meatballs in fresh condition. The analysis of variance showed that treatment of different temperature storage had no signiicant effect (P <0.05) for Total Plate Count (TPC). Mean of TPC (log10 cfu/g) ranged between 5,30 + 0,62 to 5,86 + 0,65. E. coli contamination was found in meatballs stored at freezer storage. Treatment of different temperature storage was signiicantly affect water activity and was not effect on pH, water holding capacity and microbiological content (TPC and E. Coli).

Abstract

Penelitian berangkat dari  fakta semakin kuatnya gejala erosi sikap dan perilaku berdemokrasi di kalangan masyarakat (siswa), seperti sikap yang mau menang sendiri, suka memaksakan kehendak, kurang mengakui pihak lain, sikap toleran yang semakin melemah, kurangnya empati dan lain-lainya. Sementara itu, pembelajaran demokrasi melalui Pendidikan IPS kurang memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan sikap dan perilaku demokratis, yang ditandai penyebabnya oleh dua hal, yaitu sisi substantif yang melupakan unsur lokal dan sisi pembelajaran yang monolitik dan undemokratis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam kearifan lokal masyarakat Sasak terkandung nilai-nilai dan unsur-unsur demokrasi yang dijalankan secara teguq (kuat dan utuh), bender atau lomboq (lurus dan jujur), patut (benar), tuhu (sungguh-sungguh), dan trasna (penuh rasa kasih sayang) yang ditopang oleh awiq-awiq adat (aturan/norma) dan sesenggak (ungkapan atau pribahasa) baik yang positif maupun negatif. Namun demikian, keseluruhan nilai kearifan lokal tersebut belum ditransformasi untuk anak didik, akibatnya pembelajaran IPS yang masih cenderung berlangsung monolitik, kurang demokratis, kesan menghafal, dan  tidak kontekstual, membosankan dan tidak optimal. Oleh karenanya, kajian lanjutan pengembangan model penting dilakukan untuk menguji efektivitasnya dalam rangka pengembangan sikap dan perilaku berdemokrasi siswa SMP/ MTs.Kata kunci:   Pembelajaran IPS, Kearifan Lokal, Sikap dan Prilaku Berdemokrasi

Abstract

This study seeks to identify the conservation program of marine resources and fisheries in the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries of Situbondo, how do the effectiveness, and how do the government policies on conservation of marine resources and fisheries in Situbondo. With a descriptive-qualitative approach, the results of this study indi­cate that the local government through the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries has a major role on preservation of marine resources and fisheries, espe­cially in some big proponent of marine fisheries in Situbondo. The role of government at least can be seen in the form of regulations, policies and implementation of programs were implemen­ted. The role of Government of Situbondo implemented policies Minis­try of Marine and Fisheries through programs of conservation of marine and fisheris in Situbondo.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to evaluate production performance of Bali and Ongole crossbreed (PO) cattle fed with sorghum grain base. A total 12 cattle were used for this research. Treatment were breed (Bali and Ongole crossbreed) and slaughter weight (slaughter weight group 1/SWG 1 : 250-300 kg and slaughter weight group/SWG 2 : 300-350 kg) with 3 cattle for each treatment. Parameter observed were feed conversion, average daily gain (ADG), feed consumption and final weight. The result indicated that PO cattle has better feed conversion for both group of slaughter weight than Bali cattle (P<0.05). The average feed conversion for Bali and PO cattle on SWG 1 were 14.586 and 9.064 respectively, whereas on SWG 2 were 18.566 and 9.163 respectively. In consequence the ADG of PO cattle was higher than Bali cattle (P<0.05). The ADG for PO cattle and Bali cattle (kg/day) on SWG 1 were 0.797 and 0.478 respectively, and ons SWG 2 were 0.903 and 0.418 respectively. In addition, final weight for PO cattle on SWG 2 was higher than Bali cattle (P<0.05). The average final weight (kg) for PO and Bali cattle on SWG 2 were 347.10 and 307.61. There were no significant differences on final weight of PO and Bali cattle on SWG 1. The average final weight (kg) for PO and Bali cattle on SWG 1 were 285.96 and 274.44 respectively. Feeding Sorghum silage on PO and Bali cattle have positive impact on production performance, therefore this application is suitable to apply for local farmer.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to know how students completed their academic assignments, the reason why they completed the assignment the way they did, the effects from their choice of approach, and how to solve them. Data collection was done by using documentation, think aloud technique, and focus group discussion. The data analysis was done by using Glaser and Strauss model. The results showed that 91.1% of Civic and Pancasila Education students completed their academic assignments by copying from the Internet. Internal factors consisted of laziness, hedonistic attitude, the tendency to get everything instantly, and lack of awareness about the importance of developing positive mentality and noble character. Meanwhile, external factors consisted of the availability of information on the Internet and the type of task assigned. The effect of such tendency could be categorized into two kinds: short-term and long-term effect. The short-term effect was that the mastery of students’ knowledge was only on the level of “knowing” (C1) and slightly shifted to the level of “understanding” (C2), incomplete and undetailed information about the materials, the materials were not stored in the long term memory, and the students’ way of thinking was not systematic and linear. The long-term effect included the students’ cognitive structure as well as their character which would not be well developed. There were two solutions to address the issue, namely instrumental and mental solution. Instrumental solution included the provision of textbooks, reference books, and the courses’ list of reference books, while mental solution included developing students’ awareness about the importance of scientific way of thinking, building a good attitude and character in everyday’s life, including in the learning process.Keywords: character, cognitive structure, information technology, teaching and learningAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana mahasiswa menyelesaikan tugas akademiknya, alasan mengapa mereka menyelesaikan tugas akademiknya dengan cara-cara tersebut, dampak yang ditimbulkan, dan bagaimana cara mengatasinya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi, think aloud, dan focus group discussion (FGD). Analisis dilakukan dengan model analisis Glaser dan Strauss. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan ditemukan 91,1% mahasiswa Civic Education menyelesaikan tugas akademiknya dengan menyalin-rekat dari internet. Faktor yang menyebabkannya adalah: (1) faktor dari dalam berupa malas, hedonis, instan, dan kurangnya kesadaran tentang pentingnya membangun struktur mental dan karakter yang mulia. (2) faktor dari luar berupa tersedianya semua jenis informasi di internet dan jenis tugas yang diberikan. Dampak yang ditimbulkan adalah (1) dampak jangka pendek, yaitu penguasaan ilmu mahasiswa hanya pada level mengetahui (C1) dan sedikit bergerak ke level memahami (C2), pemahamannya tidak lengkap dan detail, materi tidak terdorong masuk dalam long terms memory, cara berpikir tidak linear dan sistematis dan (2) dampak jangka panjang, yaitu struktur mental mahasiswa tidak berkembang secara lengkap dan sikap mental berkembang kurang baik. Ada dua solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, yaitu (1) solusi yang bersifat instrumental, yaitu; penyediaan buku ajar, buku-buku referensi, dan daftar referensi mata kuliah; dan (2) solusi yang bersifat psikis/mental, yaitu membangun kesadaran mahasiswa tentang pentingnya membangun cara berpikir ilmiah, sikap, dan karakter yang mulya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari termasuk dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: karakter, pembelajaran, struktur mental, teknologi informasi

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pendidikan kewirausahaan berbasis keterampilan khas lokal untuk membentuk kecakapan vokasional anak usia pendidikan dasar dan menengah yang putus sekolah/tidak melanjutkan studi pada masyarakat marginal. Kajian ini menggunakan prosedur research and development, dengan tahapan utama: studi pendahuluan, penyusunan design dan produk model, uji analitis ahli, pengujian operasional, uji validasi melalui pre eksperimen, dan desiminasi hasil. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik dekriptif kuantitatif dan uji t (pairedsamples t test). Model yang dihasilkan terdiri lima komponen, yaitu tujuan, perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Hasil uji operasional dan pre eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa model ini memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan kecakapan vokasional anak yang putus sekolah/tidak melanjutkan studi pada masyarakat marginal. . Kata Kunci: model pendidikan kewirausahaan, keterampilan lokal, masyarakat marginal A LOCAL-SKILL-BASED ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION MODEL FOR DROP-OUTS IN MARGINAL COMMUNITIES Abstract: This study was aimed to develop a local-skill-based entrepreneurship education model to establish vocational skills of primary and secondary education drop-outs in marginal communities. This study used the research and development procedure. The main stages were: a preliminary study, development of the design and the product model, expert analysis judgment, operational testing, validation testing through pre-experiment, and product dissemination. The data were analyzed by using the quantitative descriptive technique and the t-test. The model developed consisted of five components, i.e.: goals, planning, organization, implementation, and assessment. The results of the operational test and the pre-experimentshowed that this model had a significant influence on the development of vocational skills of drop-outs in marginal communities.
