Abstract

Studi ini akan menggambarkan dampak urban sprawl yaitu perkembangan tak terkendalisecara horizontal kearah pinggiran kota terhadap ketidak efisiennya mobilitas yang akanmempengaruhi pemilihan moda transportasi. Urban sprawl berdampak pada tidak effisiennyapengaturan sistem transportasi perkotaan, karena selain tidak tertatanya permukimanakibat kurang kontrolnya pemanfaatan ruang juga terjadinya pengelompokan atauperbedaan strata sosio-ekonomi yang akan berdampak semakin kompleknya permasalahanmobilitas (pergerakan) penduduk. Kondisi demikian akan berpengaruh terhadappemilihan moda transportasi yang berpihak pada pemilihan moda pribadi.Mobilitas merupakan suatu permasalahan transportasi perkotaan yang sangat pelik danperlu penanganan yang serius. Tujuan dari studi ini untuk mengidentifikasi faktorpertumbuhanyang tidak terkendali kearah pinggiran kota dan faktor-faktor yang yangmempengaruhi permasalahan transportasi yaitu pemilihan moda transportasi. Studi inimenggunakan pendekatan spasial (ruang) yaitu suatu pendekatan yang mempelajari hubunganinteraksi antara manusia dan lingkungannya. Untuk itu metode penelitian denganmetode deskriftif kualitatif-kuantitatif yaitu suatu metode dengan teknik wawan-cararumah tangga secara random proposional pada rumah tangga yang berbeda status sosialekonominya pada wilayah yang terkena proses urban. Adapun teknik analisisnya denganmenggunakan Crosstabulation untuk menggambarkan faktor-faktor yang mem-pengaruhiperkembangan kota dan pemilihan moda transportasi. Hasil dari studi ini bertujuanuntuk merekomendasikan penanganan problem transportasi perkotaan padaperkembangan kota-kota menuju kota Metropolitan.AbstractThis study will describe influence of growth of urban uncontrollably toward outside orwhich is often referred as by urban sprawl to moda choce. Growth of town into metropolitanarea need careful because besides affecting social segregasi also cause noteffisient mobility of suburban, because journey become long distance is resident activitystill concentration at downtown (core city) and also the happening of integration of eachtown also will complicate arrangement of urban transportation system. Purpose of thisresearch is to identify factors growth of urban uncontrollably toward outside its influenceurban sprawl to moda choce with a view to recommend handling of problems of transportationat metropolitan area. Approach method with approach of spasial pursuant tounderstanding of human being interaction with urban environment that is by studyingdynamics friction of resident in taking choice suburban residence and its mobility choicethat is choice of moda transportation. Method acquirement of data by using techniquemethod interview household by random proposional pursuant to strata of sosio-economiat region of suburban. Technique analyse by using analysis of crosstabulation statisticwith test of significan to describe factors influencing growth of urban and its influence tomoda choice. Result of from this research describe that growth of town toward townboundary of Semarang unegual and its surroundings its speed at some district exist instudy region. As for factors influencing growth of town besides aksessibilitas there issocial factor in the form of change of life style toward requirement of settlement withbalmy environment and requirement of transportation. Result of from this study is]expected useful for the day-dream of problems of urban transportation by integratingbetween operation of policy of settlement of settlement environment and policy ofoperation of transportation system at natural towns of metropolitan area.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan wilayah Tembalang, baik di kecamatan Banyumanik dan kecamatan Tembalang, tumbuh dengan pesat. Perkembangan yang tidak didukung dengan fasilitas sarana maupun prasarana yang ada menyebabkan kemacetan kawasan Tembalang. Untuk itu, dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui kinerja jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, dengan perhitungan derajat kejenuhan berdasar survey LHR. Lalu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kondisi eksisting angkutan umum saat ini, dari segi kinerja trayek, sarana dan prasarana. Kemudian dilakukan survei kuisioner dan wawancara pada masyarakat yang bermukim di sekitar jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH secara random sampling untuk melihat perilaku pergerakan dan pendapat masyarakat. Variable yang digunakan yaitu kondisi sarana dan prasarana, tingkat kenyamanan, sistem operasional, pola pergerakan, kriteria transportasi umum yang diinginkan. Dari hasil tersebut direncanakan sistem feeder yang sesuai untuk jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, Tembalang. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan pada ruas persimpangan Setiabudi – persimpangan SPBU Undip memiliki derajat kejenuhan ≥ 0,75 sehingga perlu dilakukan penanganan. Sistem feeder yang direncanakan adalah jalur pedestrian yang menghubungkan dengan angkutan feeder dan BRT, Rute trayek baru angkutan utama dan ranting yang melewati jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, mengacu pada Perda no.14 tahun 2011 tentang RTRW kota Semarang. Kata Kunci : sistem feeder, kemacetan, kinerja jalan, sustainableABSTRACT Development of the Tembalang region, both on Banyumanik or Tembalang Sub-district, is grow rapidly. Therefor, evaluation is needed to determine performance of Prof. Soedato, SH, Street by calculating degree of saturation that based on traffic survey. Then, evaluation of existing condition of public transportation at present, in term of route performance, facilities and infrastructure. Then conducted a questionnaire and interview survey in people who lived around of Prof. Soedarto, SH. street by random sampling to know how about people behaviour on trip and opinion. Variable used are facilities and infrastructure condition, level of ease, operational system, trip pattern, desired criteria for public transportation. From that result, designed suitable feeder system for Prof. Soedarto, SH. Street. Evaluation result show that segment Setiabudi intersection – Undip Gas Station intersection has degree saturation value ≥ 0,75, so that its necessary treatment. Feeder system which designed is pedestrian track that would be connected with feeder transport or bus rapid transit, The main dan branch of new routes of transportation, which pass through Prof. Soedarto, SH. Abstract

Developments in the area Ambarawa showed increased very rapidly, as shown by the many activities of the trip reset - shuttle from Semarang - Yogyakarta, passing Ambarawa. Barriers of time and is very important to know because it is the minimum travel time for a vehicle to the place of destination. As we know often times it happens that so long queue of vehicles caused by several factors during the journey, such as the existence of market centers along the road, not signalized intersections and also the driver's lack of discipline have contributed to the low road. Barriers of this trip will be a negative impact, such as in the form of lost time due to the long trip and the increase in vehicle operating costs (VOC) to the existing road. The purpose of this evaluation is to analyze the velocity space (space mean speed) and the Vehicle Operating Cost comparison Ambarawa ring road and the existing road. The calculation of Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) using the formula for the ring road Pacific Consultant International (PCI) and using the formula in the existing road curve Vehicle Speed. This is because the ring road are relatively few barriers while relatively many barriers existing road. So using a different method for determining vehicle operating costs. From the analysis of the average velocity (space mean speed) it can be seen that the travel time through the streets ring with a distance of 7.3 miles faster than the road with a distance of 6.5 km eksisiting this can be seen from the average velocity (space mean speed) vehicles both cars (58.52 km / h), buses (52.36 km / h) and a truck (47.67 km / h) faster past the ring road ring road vehicles as cars, buses and trucks are not a lot of experience travel barriers. The results of the comparison vehicle operating cost (VOC), obtained past the ring road Ambarawa cost more frugal when dibandingankan the existing road. Where the economic value of automobiles Rp 415.11 (3.09%); truck Rp 2321.46 (4.01%), and buses Rp 3383.27 (8.49%). This is because as the value of travel time on the ring road is more economical than the existing road, so it is recommended the diversion of heavy vehicles (class IIA and IIB) have to go through the roundabout Ambarawa so will reduce the volume of vehicles passing through the existing road also to be more economical in spending operational and can reduce travel time for goods brought more quickly to the destination.

Abstract

Peningkatan arus lalu lintas dari waktu ke waktu yang melewati bundaran Simpang Lima Kota Semarang menyebabkan menurunnya kinerja bundaran. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Perhubungan dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja bundaran ialah dengan memberlakukan sistem satu arah (SSA) pada dua ruas jalan yang berhubungan langsung dengan Simpang Lima yaitu Jalan Gajah Mada dan Jalan KH Ahmad Dahlan. Secara terinci, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan kinerja bundaran, nilai biaya operasional kendaraan (BOK) serta nilai manfat terhadap lingkungan pada kondisi sebelum dan sesudah diberlakukan sistem satu arah serta kondisi apabila solusi alternatif diterapkan dalam hal ini overpass.Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis kinerja bundaran Simpang Lima mengacu pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (1997), dan metode yang digunakan dalam analisis biaya operasional kendaraan (BOK) mengacu pada  Pacific Consultan International (PCI).Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa derajat kejenuhan (DS) pada jalinan Jl. Pandanaran – Jl. Gajah Mada sebelum SSA 0,853 , DS setelah SSA 0,94, dan  DS setelah overpass 0,79. BOK sebelum SSA Rp. 2222,48/km,  BOK setelah SSA Rp. 2817,64/km, dan BOK setelah overpass Rp. 2013,31/km. Angka pencemaran NO2 yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 29,015 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 33,873 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 27,588 μg/m3. Angka pencemaran SO2 yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 17,12 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 19,99 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 16,28 μg/m3. Angka pencemaran PM yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 191,49 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 223,56 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 182,08 μg/m3. Angka pencemaran Pb yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 0,039 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 0,046 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 0,037 μg/m3. Angka pencemaran CO yang dihasilkan pada kondisi sebelum SSA 138,62 μg/m3, pada kondisi setelah SSA 161,83 μg/m3, dan pada kondisi setelah dibangun overpass 131,81 μg/m3.

Abstract

Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata keaktifan siswa kelas X AP 1 tergolong rendah yaitu hanya sebesar 52 %. Siswa di kelas tersebut cenderung pasif hanya beberapa siswa yang bertanya dan mengemukakan pendapat pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas, maka rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran 1 SMK Hidayah Semarang yang terdiri dari 18 siswa. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan rata-rata keaktifan siswa sebesar  62,4% dalam kategori cukup aktif, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 74,20 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 67%. Untuk hasil penelitian siklus II menunjukkan rata-rata keaktifan siswa sebesar 72% dalam kategori tinggi, rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 79,62 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 72%. Untuk hasil penelitian siklus III menunjukkan rata-rata keaktifan siswa sebesar 78,88% dalam kategori tinggi, rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 84,375 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 78%.Based on the initial observation, the data showed that the average students’ activeness of 10th grade students of Office Administration1 was less active, it was only 52%. Students were passive on the learning process because only several students who gave question and delivered arguments during the teaching learning proccess. Based on the background above, the questions of research were; 1) Did the implementations of Probing Prompting learning model improve students’ activeness? 2) The subject of this research was10th grade students of Office Administration I in SMK Hidayah Semarang, they were 18 students.. The data were collected by observation, documentation, and examination. The data were analyzed by classroom action research analysis and linear regression analysis.The result of cycle I showed that the average of students’ activeness was 62.4% which categorized on active enough, the average scor eof study result was 74.20 with classical completeness was 67%. The result of cycle II showed that the average of students’ activeness was 72% which categorized on highly active, the average score of learning result was 79,62 with classical completeness was 72%. The cycle III as the last cycle showed that the average of students’ activeness was 78.88% which categorized on highly active, the average of study result was 84.37 with classical completeness was 78%.

Abstract

Parking is one of the important elements of urban transportation, such, it has various long and short-term impacts on individuals, societies, and transportation systems. It affects to the transportation mode selection. People tend to drive private car when the representative parking area is available. This research is focused at the determination of the parameters that affect the use of parking area. The parameters are expected to be useful in estimating the parking area demand of the hospital class B in Semarang. There are six major parameters describing the parking slot, i.e.: accumulation, parking volume, total spaces available (capacity), parking turnover, peak time, duration of occupancy and occupancy. Three hospitals are selected as object of the study; there are RS Telogorejo, RS Elisabeth and RS dr Kariadi. The survey is carried out by direct investigation and questionnaire. Statistical analysis by using linear regression, logarithmic, quadratic, and exponential, indicated that the amount of bed used has a very high correlation with the parking demand. The next highest correlation is observed between medical specialist and parking demand. The average duration in RS Telogorejo is 15 – 30 minutes, RS Elisabeth is 30 minutes – 2 hours, and RS dr Kariadi is 15 – 30 minutes for car. For motorcycle, the average duration in RS Telogorejo is 30 minutes – 1 hour, RS Elisabeth is 30 minutes – 2 hours, and RS dr Kariadi is above 4 hours. From the study, it was found that the ratio between parking demand for vehicle and the number of bed being used is 0.89, meanwhile the ratio between parking demand for motorcycle and the number of bed being used is 1.29. Other alternative of parking facility like special parking building area is recommended to be considered for the hospital with limited area. Keywords: parking, hospital

Abstract

ABSTRACT Semarang and Surakarta have different characteristic on structure and urban growth. This difference affects on urban public transport service in those cities. Aim of this research is to know the difference characteristic of urban public transport service between Semarang and Surakarta. The analysis method is comparing urban public transport service generally with transportation service and especially with public transport service, those are effectiveness and efficiency. Result of this research can be used for local government as one of the review on making of urban public transport system insight. The result of this research shows that the difference on urban structure of Semarang and Surakarta affect on urban public transport service. The urban structure of Semarang with concentric design and add with its ring radial road network cause almost all of public transport track through the down town area as the centre of all activities, mean while the urban structure of Surakarta with its grid road network tendency to spread the movement into all over the town that cause people activity spread relatively. These circumstances cause urban public transport track also spread all over the town following road network up to its hinterland. Some proposed to ascend urban public transport system service in Semarang needs an evaluation of urban public transport service more efficient with reduce or change public transport moda with that whose have bigger capacity so that can reduce traffic problem in down town area, mean while Surakarta needs to cooperate with its hinterland because almost all of urban public transport that are operating in Surakarta having the beginning and ending terminals outside of its jurisdiction. Abstract

In achieving Depok City development, the role of land transport has an important and strategic position, so that policies need to be integrated in a single management policy and land transportation impact on the economy of the community in Depok. Various policies have been issued, in order to minimize the land transport problems, but no matter how well the policy will not work optimally for the management of land transportation is less addressed. This study used descriptive qualitative, because trying to find empirical facts with the proper interpretation of the action phenomenon. Results: 1. Selection land transportation that correspond to the characteristics of Depok City, and attentive to the needs and interests of all sections of society were different, able to support the effectiveness and efficiency of the provision of public transport services of the city. 2. Development of an adequate road network in the City of Depok has increased the economic sectors of society, increasing the value / price of land, the development of small-scale enterprises, medium and large, the product specialization between regions, the concentration and urbanization, especially in areas that have opened access roads and transport. Resulting in increased revenue Depok City coupled with equitable distribution of goods between residents, business lines spread across several regions. In addition, an increasing number and types of goods and services are able to produce consumer, government and industry.

Abstract

Transportation is the backbone in creating social welfare in Jakarta. Therefore, if there are problems in the transportation system, it will have an impact on the smooth traffic flow and will ultimately hamper the achievement of public welfare. This study used a descriptive-qualitative method. This study refers to the theory proposed by Anderson (in Tachjan, 2006: 23) and Sarana, et al (2009: 9). The results of the study are as follows. Policy implementation transportation system in Jakarta has been able to improve the social welfare of most citizens, which means some people have to feel and enjoy the outcome of transportation development  in Jakarta. However, others have not optimally felt the positive impact of the policy. Even, it is perceived negatively; such as traffic jams which are almost evenly distributed throughout Jakarta causing high air pollution, hampered economic activity and generated high economic costs that social welfare was also weakened. This is reinforced by the increasing poverty rate in 2014 that reached 393,980 people thousand compared to previous years.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Tofu liquid waste has a high potential to pollute water ecosystem, because so far it is disposed as is to sewerages around tofu factories. Nevertheless, tofu liquid waste is potentially convertible into biogas because it has BOD and COD exceeding 4000 mg/lt.The production of biogasfrom tofu liquid waste using an activator Effective Microorganism (EM4) is influenced by several underlying factors: volumes of waste,goat rumen and EM4. The objective of this study is to understand the feasibility of tofu liquid waste as a raw material of biogas, using additional materials of goat rumen and EM4 activator. The experiments were carried out in 5 batch reactors filled with 3000 ml waste and 300 ml rumen, and added with EM4activator varied for 0 ml, 25 ml, 50 ml, 75 ml and 100 ml. Based on our observations, it can be concluded that the addition of EM4in a batch process is positively correlated to the organicdecay of tofu liquid waste into biogas. The best result was observed in Reactor IV containing 75mlEM4where the biogas was produced after 72 hours. Keywords: tofu liquid waste, EM4 activator, cattle rumen, biogas
