Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated lack of writing and documenting of traditional dancing in the local area. The researcher very excited toward dayak culture especially about Entrai dance to know the history and development about it’s.The method used in this research is historis descriptive, in the from of qualitative research by multidisciplinary approach that divided into three of theories, those are the theory of history, anthropology, and sociology. Tools of data collecting were taken by several techniques such as observation, interview, and documentation techniques from the statements of some artists of Entarai Dancing as the informants. The validity techniques were extending the observation and source triangulation technique that combined the statements from the informants.The history of Entarai Dancing started in 1960, where Juyah, an indigenous of Ketungau Sesaek Dayak Tribe, as the creator of the first Entarai Dancing. Then, Libau introduced and developed that in 1987 as the first dancer of Entarai Dancing. In 1996, Entarai Dancing developed by Aki in the Inauguration of St. Gelma Galgani Church. In 2000 until now, Entarai Dancing use in entertain dancing. The structure of gestures in Entarai Dancing divided into three parts, those are respect, main, and closing gestures. Abstract

AbstractThis research based on lack of interest in the young generation of art was inherited from ancestors hereditary and it was necessary that there were attempts to learn and preserve the tradition. One of artistic tradition almost extinct and start unknown by communities are musical accompaniment Tari Jepin Tembung Panjang in Pontianak. (The purpose of this research is: 1 ) the descriptive analysis of ?Tabuhan Beruas? on music of Jepin Tembung Panjang accompaniment. The methods used in this research was descriptive method analysis.The data analysis used in this research was the result of direct observation and an interview to informants of the music of Jepin Tembung Panjang. Data analyzed qualitatively, with speakers Mohammad Joseph Dahyani and Anwar Djafar who actively involved as well as knowing about the music, tradition especially the music of Jepin Tembung Panjang in Pontianak. Based on the analysis of the data, it can be inferred that the pattern of Jepin Tembung Panjang was the result of repeated of literal hornets from one pattern.Keywords:       Analysis, Jepin, Pola Tabuhan, Pontianak, Tembung Panjang

Abstract

AbstractThis study analyzed the form of Betaja dance presentation in the community of dayak kancikng in Meliau, district Sanggau, which is based on the desire of researchers to make complete documentation about betaja dance. the problems in this study were, 1)what is the form presentation of the dayak betaja dance kancikng, 2)what is the betaja dance teaching material about art and culture lessons skills at the level of the class x senior high school. the purpose of this study was 1)describe the form of presentation of the betaja dance of the Dayak Kancikng tribe, 2)describe betaja teaching material for art and culture lessons and skills at class x senior high school. This research used descriptive method with qualitative research as well as used the choreographic approach. sources of data in this study and use choreographic approach. the data source in this study was Yohanes Aben male dancer male and musician, Tang S. Advisor I: Ismunandar S.H, S.Sn, M.Pd, Advisor II: Henny Sanulita, M.Pd.The background of this research was the uniqueness and simplicity of the Keriang Bandong dance properties. Specifically, the problems in this research were how the properties forms in Keriang Bandong dance at Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak; and how the properties meaning in Keriang Bandong dance in Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak. The results of research in analyzing the meaning of Keriang Bandong dance properties are meeting with informants who are dancers and musicians of Keriang Bandong dance, as well as informants who know the history of Keriang Bandong dance. Researcher analyzed the meaning and form of Keriang Bandong dance through interviews with informants and then documented it. The shape of the Keriang Bandong dance properties is in the form of a hexagon. AbstractThis study aims to describe the aplication ofthe make a match model in improving students’ results in Lumar District 1 VIIIA class. Bengkayang and discribing the students’ learning desire in art learning, then applying the make-match model to the VIIIA students of the SMP Negeri this researchis the number of students who do not raech: the completeness of the class is based on VIIIA Which s mre then the old class. How is the application and learning outcomes  of students in Lumar Bengkayang Regenciy, the backround of the VIIIAThe State Junior High School by applying the make a match model to Bengkayang students in the theory that was anounced in dalah teani from belagar. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was to describe the description musical structure of Jepin Tempurung dance. The purpose of this research was to describe the musical structure of Jepin Tempurung dance in Tekelak Village, North Pinoh District, Melawi Regency, West Kalimanantan. Theories used in this research were structure, music, music of dance accompaniment, musicology, ethnomusicology, ethnomusicology approach, rhythm pattern, and musical form. The method used in this research was explorative descriptive method. This form of this research was qualitative. The approach of this research was the musical approach. The data of this research were interview result, observation result, and documentation result. Data collection techniques of this research were observation, interview, and documentary study. Data collection tools of this research were researcher as main instrument, interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation tools. The validity checkout of this research data were the extension of observation and triangulation technique. The data analysis technique of this research were the analysis during data collection and analysis after data collection.Keywords: the musical structure,  musical accompaniment, Jepin Tempurung dance.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is the loss of Timang Banjar Dance in Kadriyah Palace. The purpose of this research is to revitalize Timang Banjar Dance in Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak, West Kalimantan so it could exist in the society around Kadriyah Palace. Specifically, this research focuses on how does the process, the form and the result of revitalization of Timang Banjar Dancein Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak West Kalimantan.  Method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative method and sociological approach. Data used in this method are the result of interview, observation, documentation and daily note about Timang Banjar Dance. The result of this research is an effort in revitalizing Timang Banjar Dance such as helding a meeting with the interviewees and also the dancer and the musician of this dance in Kadriyah Palace, Pontianak; Dancing Timang Banjar Dance; Evaluating the form of the dance; Represent the Dance by doing workshop, using backsound, properties, and costumes of Timang Banjar Dance.  Keywords: Revitalizing, Timang Banjar Dance, Pontianak

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by resercher’s desire to know the structure of Selampe Dance Presentation to Dayak Sawe at Sekonao Village Sekadau Sub-District of SekadauRegency west Kalimantan. The purpose of this study was to described the structure of presentation that has characteristics from it’s movement, music, makeup, and clothing, as well as rhymes in it. The methode used in this research was descriptive with qualitativeresearch form. The approach used was a choreographic approach. The data source inthis research were Mr. Nirus and Mrs. Serina. Based on data anlysis can be concluded asfollows. The presentation structure of selampe dance was arrangement of one unit onepresentation or appearance that has three important parts in the presentation structurethey are, first part, midle part, and last part. The main elements of presentation structureform such as dance movement which mean to illustrates something known as maknawimotion, design of lines on the floor that traversed by dancers, accompaniment music ofrhymes, theme, makeup and clothing.. Hopefully the result of this research can beimplemented in seni budaya on grade X in SMA Negeri 01 Sekadau Hulu to K-13curriculum in order to all the students understand more about dance tradition. Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to determine the effect of cooperative learning model on STAD type on students’ absortion in learning pianika ensemble Grade VIII of SMPN 1 Ledo.This research was an experimental study using research design of one group pretest-posttes design. The independent variable in this research was the cooperative learning model of STAD type while the dependent variable was students’ absorption. The subjects of this research were students of Grade VIII A as many as 33 students. The data collection techniques used were interviews and tests. The data analysis techniques consisted of three stages. Those were  the stage of data description, the stage of analysis requirement test and the stage of hypothesis test. The stage of data description included the distribution of students’ absorption data. The stage of analysis requirement test included normality test. While the stage of hypothesis testing used Paired T-test with a significance level of 5%. The calculation process used the computer of SPSS program version 17.0 for windows. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning model of STAD type had a better performance towards increasing the students’ absorption in the learning of pianika ensembles in Grade VIII A of SMPN 1 Ledo.Keywords: model of STAD, absorption, pianic ansemble.

AbstractThe Background in this research content was for created a documentary of  Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak. General problems in this research were : How is the musical accompaniment of Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak description? The Purpose of this research was: 1) Described and denotated the Musical accompaniment and vocal of Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak, 2) Describing music form of Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak. The method that used in this research wasqualitative descriptive method and used musicology approach. The datas of this research were the result of the wich direct observation and interview to the informant about the System of Violin Melody, system of Gendang Panjang, Tawak and Vocal. The Data Analysis doing with the qualitive method, with the informant data, Jerie Anwar, Herman, Ilham Setiawan, S.Sn, and Yoga Kharisma, S.Pd who always active in artistic activity and know about the musical accompaniment of Beladon Song on The Art of Mendu in Pontianak.
