Abstract

AbstractThis willingness to research to dig back Arts Otar-Otar, and to explore the process of historical development of the Otar-Otar became performance art, due to lack of documentation against Otar-Otar. The purpose of this research is to 1. Describe the history of performance art silat Otar-Otar 1992-2015 in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. 2. Describe the development of a form of martial arts performing arts specialties Otar-Otar in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. 3. Describe the draft implementation from performing arts Otar-Otar of Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. The theory used in this research analysis is a theory about the dance, dance history, cultural anthropology, traditional dance, pencak silat, performing arts. This research using the method of analysis of history. This form of research is qualitative. The research approach using the approach of etnokoreologi. The data source in this research in the form of the results of the interview against the speaker related to and find out about the development historical of the performing arts Otar-Otar In Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview and documentation. Abstract

AbstractThe researcher applied the role-playing method to the Ruai bird dance-drama to improve the aspects of the pleasure, expression, and timing of seventh-grade students in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. This role-playing method is a method that plays the role of a work. The aim of this research is to describe the process of the method of role playing and the results of the increase in pleasure, expression, and timing after applying this method in the dance-drama of Ruai bird. Research conducted in the form of classroom action research with descriptive methods and qualitative approaches. Theoretical tests conducted in first cycle with the scores obtained by students reached an average of 6.2. In the second cycle there is an increase to 81.94. The improvement is seen from students demonstrating the movement in accordance with their role. In addition, students can also appreciate and express according to the role that has been determined and students are also able to understand the accompaniment of music in accordance with a predetermined theme. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the role-playing method in the Ruai Bird Dance-drama can increase the aspects of pleasure, expression, and timing of seventh-grade students at class A in SMP Negeri 2, Pontianak. Keywords: Expression, Pleasure, Role-Playing Method, Ruai Bird Dance-drama, and Timing.

Abstract

 AbstractThe research was distributed by type of traditional musical instruments in the WaSP which is inherited from ancestors that need to be in the guard and developed to study and preserve the tradition music of course there are guide books as a source reference, but the shape of the pattern on the WaSP there is no reference or study guide book on how to play a musical instrument engitakng wasps are good and true. This research is very necessary because there has been no previous research relating to engitakng musical instrument themselves mainly existing in sungkung. The data were analyzed qualitatively, with resource data,  Mr. Ayang, Damianus Jina, Ignasius Gisig, several other art artists and actors who play an active role as well as find out about music engitakng music, especially the music of Engitakng Pattern On A Celebration Of Indigenous Dayak Nyobeng Sungkung.Based on data analysis, researchers can be concluded that Engitakng is a traditional musical instrument that is played by the way in at to use beater, in this engitakng music has just played on certain rituals like nyobeng, as a counterpoint to the dance music tradition of the dayak tribe ngigel sungkung. Engitakng music in celebration of indigenous Dayak Sub Sungkung Nyobeng Siding Bengkayang consists of 4 instruments, namely 1. Nagun, 2. Natent nagun, 3. Natent taak, 4. taak. The results of this research are expected to regenerate interest, the spirit of the younger generation to learn the musical traditions and can contribute to the world of education i.e. researchers offer a draft implementation plan-shaped learning Learning (RPP) as an indicator of competency and curriculum of 2013. Keywords: Patterns, Beats, Engitakng, Nyobeng

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study is the interest of researchers in the arts that are influenced by Islam and art that has long faded among the Pontianak community as well as researcher’s interest in the uniqueness of dance in Pontianak. One of the tradition is  Zapin Arab dance, so researchers wanted to explain and told the detail  ofthe history of Zapin Arab Dance and the development of Zapin Arab dance in Pontianak.  The goal was to find out about the history of Zapin Arabic by documenting in writing form and supported by photographs of Zapin Arab performance, so that the history of Zapin Arabic dance could be known by the people of Pontianak City and the society. The method used is a historical method, with qualitative research.  The research approach used is a multidisciplinary. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary sources, where primary data were obtained from five sources who studied the history of Zapin Arabic dance trips and secondary sources were obtained from books sources that relating to Zapin dance.  Data collection techniques consist of book study, observation, interviews, and documentation.  The technique of testing validity data uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The history of Zapin Arabic dance comes from the word "Zafn" which means the movement of the feet.  It was brought by the people of Hadramaut Yemen as art which was introduced together with the introduction of Islam in the 6th century. It is estimated that Zapin began to enter Indonesia in the 13th century until the 18th century brought by Yemeni missionaries and Yemeni traders to spread the Islamic religion and attract customers.  This Zapin dance began to enter the city of Pontianak to coinciding with the time after the establishment of the city of Pontianak, which was the first sultanate of Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Al-qadrie in 1771 AD                    Keywords: Development, History,  Zapin Arabic Dance

AbstractThis study aims to describe the aplication ofthe make a match model in improving students’ results in Lumar District 1 VIIIA class. Bengkayang and discribing the students’ learning desire in art learning, then applying the make-match model to the VIIIA students of the SMP Negeri this researchis the number of students who do not raech: the completeness of the class is based on VIIIA Which s mre then the old class. Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to describe the existence, factors that influenced, and efforts to maintain the existence of Puckmude music artists. The method that used is descriptive method. Describing the existence of Puckmude was obtained through observation and interviews with interviewees, and documenting Puckmude's activities.The results showed that Puckmude still exists today (2018). The Factors that affecting the existence of them are financial, lack of appreciation, the globalization, and lack of assistance from the local government.Efforts to maintain existence by growing regeneration for the young generation, increasing income, assistance from the government and utilize the internet sites as promotional media. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis makna desain lantai tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan pada masyarakat Pesaguan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data diisimpulkan bahwa Desain lantai Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan memiliki makna mulai dari posisi, perpindahan penari serta arah hadap penarinya telah memiliki aturan dan memiliki makna dalam kehidupan masyarakat Dayak Pesaguan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan dipelajaran Seni Budaya SMA kelas VIII semester I serta dapat menjadi referensi bagi penelitian lanjutan mengenai Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan.   Kata Kunci: Analisis Makna, Desain Lantai, Tari Adat Dayak Pesaguan   Abstract: The purposes of this research are To describe floor design meaning Adat Dayak Pesaguan dance In Pesaguan Dayakness The study used descriptive method. AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the study of cultural values contained in Baliatn traditional ritual dances in the Senakin Village, Landak district of West Kalimantan.The research focused on issues relatedto cultural values in textual and contextual studies. The research method that used in this research is descriptive research methods, qualitytative forms, and ethnochoreological approaches. Data sources are in the form of interviews. The research data are in the form of interviews and photographs.. Data collection techniques are in the form  of observation, interviews, and documentation. Techniques for testing the validity of source use triangulation data. Data analysis  techniques are compile and analyze. The results of this study is to show that ritual dance in Baliatn traditional ceremonies contains cultural values found in textual and contextual studies  that will be linked to two basic problems of life, namelu humans with nature and human with each other. Textual aspect that can be taken are in motion, clothing, property, and the number of dancers. The contextual is seen from the dance function, which is ritual dance treatment. Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated to explore the function and development of Jepin Melayu Sayan dance it is based on the growing era, Jepin Melayu Sayan dance is increasingly rarely displayed. Whereas a traditional dance has a role in the life of the community and a characteristic of a society, especially the Malay tribe.Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that Jepin Melayu Sayan dance has a social function at harvest event which is displayed as a form of gratitude to Allah Swt for the harvested product. Function of entertainment for some residents who help the wedding preparation and entertainment for invited guests at weddings. The music used Gong, Ketawa’ and Gambus as music instrument and Syair Dialek Melayu Melawi song. The make up and the costum used was malay custom with natural make up. The show place used can be at proscenium and arena stage. The result research can be used to be a teaching material in art and culture on 10th grader. Abstract

AbstractSMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa is a boarding school that has a semi-military education system, so in this school of cultural arts learning, especially dance is rarely held. So that teachers often difficult to see the level of creativity of male and female students, especially in the field of dance. Therefore, this study aims to determine the difference of creativity ability of dance movement between male and female students in the learning of dance class XI in SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa Kubu Raya. By using gender theory, that is the apparent difference between men and women when viewed from values and behavior. This study uses a comparative approach and the method used in this study is a survey method of personal interview type. The sample in this research is class XI Sain and Social which amount to 50 male students and 50 female students. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques and measurement techniques. While the technique used to analyze the data is the analysis desktiptif and statistics with see the average and ujit t. Based on the result of data analysis about creativity ratio of dance movement between male and female students of grade XI of SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa Kubu Raya by comparing between male and female students shows obtained by 31,48. The with 5% significance level for two sides with df = 100 then obtained by 1.98. Since the value of >, then Ho is rejected. That is, there are significant differences between male and female students in the creation of dance moves.Keywords: Comparison , Creativity, Dance Movement Creation
