Abstract

Anemia gizi besi merupakan salah satu dari empat masalah utama kesehatan masyarakat. Anemia padaremaja putri khususnya dapat menurunkan prestasi belajar. Survei kesehatan rumah tangga (SKRT) tahun2005, menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi anemia pada remaja putri usia 10 – 14 tahun adalah sebesar 57,1%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian anemia pada remajaputri SMA/K di Depok tahun 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan observasional analitik dengan desain Crosssectional. Alat ukur penelitian ini adalah kuesioner pengetahuan, timbangan berat badan, microtoise dankuesioner Food Frequency Questionaire. Variabel yang diteliti adalah pengetahuan tentang anemia dantablet darah, status gizi berdasarkan IMT/U, asupan gizi (Fe dan protein), dan kadar Hb. Sampel yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini sejumah 122 orang siswi yang bersekolah setingkat SMA/K di Kota Depokpada tahun 2017. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square. Penelitian ini mendapatkan tidak adahubungan antara pengetahuan tentang anemia dan Tablet tambah darah dengan kejadian anemia, tidak adahubungan antara status gizi dengan kejadian anemia, dan tidak ada hubungan antara asupan Fe dan proteindengan kejadian anemia. Penelitian ini tidak mendapatkan adanya hubungan variabel-variabel independenyang diteliti dengan kejadian anemia.

Abstract

Nutritional information labels have an important role in the selection of healthy foods (Signal, 2007). BPKN of year 2013 states the behavior of reading nutrition information labels in indonesia only 7,9%. This study was conducted to determine the factors associated with reading nutritional information label behavior in Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Farmasi Harapan Massa Depok of year 2018. This study used a cross sectional study design. Sample amounted to 98 respondents taken data with stratified random sampling methode. Bivariate results showed that there were a significant relationship between reading behavior of nutrition information label with gender (p-value: 0,019) and attitude (p-value: 0,019). While the employment status of father (p-value: 0,521) and knowledge of nutrition information label (p-value: 0,172) was not significant. Gender and student attitude related to nutritional information label reading behavior. The suggestion from this study was this school can be given counseling through printed media, lectures, and discussions related to the benefits of reading nutrition information labels Label informasi gizi memiliki peranan penting dalam pemilihan makanan yang sehat (Signal, 2007). BPKN (Badan Perlindungan Konsumen Nasional) tahun 2013 menyatakan perilaku membaca label informasi gizi di Indonesia hanya sebesar 7,9%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku membaca label informasi gizi di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Farmasi Harapan Massa Depok tahun 2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deksriptif analitik. Sampel berjumlah 98 responden dengan penarikan sampel menggunakan metode stratified random sampling. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara perilaku membaca label informasi gizi dengan jenis kelamin (p-value: 0,019) dan sikap (p-value: 0,019). Sementara itu status pekerjaan ayah (p-value: 0,521) dan pengetahuan label informasi gizi (p-value: 0,172) tidak bermakna. Jenis kelamin dan sikap siswa/i berhubungan dengan perilaku membaca label informasi gizi. Kesimpulan  peneliti sekolah perlu diberikan penyuluhan media cetak, ceramah, dan diskusi terkait manfaat dan pentingnya membaca label infromasi gizi.

Abstract

This research aimed to get information about factors related to the incidence of stunting in adolescent. The method used was a cross sectional study. The target population in this study were school students who attended education at the Setia Negara Junior High School. The sample consisted of students in grades VII and VIII. Determination of the sample is done by taking all students in class VII and VIII, researchers exclude students in class VII and VIII who are not willing to be respondents. The total sample of the designation was 165 people. Samples of this research were 165 respondents in Setia Negara Junior High School. This study used a statistical test Chi-Square with significance (p<0,05). Of the 165 samples, consist of 26 adolescents (15,8%) stunting status, 139 adolescents (84,2%) normal status. Statistical showed that the relationship between knowledge (p=0,000), education of father (p=0,000), education of mother (p=0,000) and family size (p=0,02) with stunting. Sex and protein intake did not have a significant relationship with stunting.

Abstract

Abstract Nutrition problems that often occur in adolescent girls are an increase in nutrient intake which will cause malnutrition, lack of energy, lower energy proteins and anemia can occur. Based on Riskesdas data in 2013 and 2018, anemia problems and TTD consumption occur in Indonesia (Riskesdas 2013,2018). Jakarta Veterans National Development University represented by LPPM encourages lecturers to do community service (PKM) to help solve problems in the Pasir Putih Village, Depok. The purpose of the program for the community (PKM) is to renew the knowledge of cadres related to adolescent problems that are often found in the Pasir Putih Village area. Community service activities (PKM) take place in the Pasir Putih Village. At the community service (PKM) activity, the head of the village, the head of community welfare, the PKK woman and the cadres attended. The cadres who participated in this main activity represented all RWs in the Pasir Putih village administration. In total there were 29 cadres. Participants received anemia leaflet and booklet. Abstract

COVID-19 is currently a major health problem worldwide. Indonesia is one of the countries affected and is in the 21st position with the most positive cases of Covid in the world. Children who are exposed to the Covid-19 virus usually only cause mild symptoms or even cause no symptoms. This makes children a source of spreading the virus without realizing it. Therefore, education on how to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) is important to prevent children from being exposed to the Covid-19 virus and becoming a source of infection without realizing it. To determine the effect of comic education and leaflets on increasing the knowledge of parents of elementary school students about PHBS for preventing the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. This study used a quasy experimental design with a desaign pre-post test group design involving 68 parents of grade V students who were selected by cluster random sampling. Knowledge data collection is carried out online. There were differences in respondents' knowledge of the effect of comics education media use (p = 0,) and leaflets (p = 0,). There is an effect of nutrition education through comics and leaflets on knowledge about Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors in parents of elementary school students as an effort to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. ABSTRAK COVID-19 saat ini menjadi masalah kesehatan paling utama di seluruh dunia. Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara yang terdampak dan menduduki posisi ke-21 dengan kasus positif Covid terbanyak di dunia. Anak yang terpapar virus Covid-19 biasanya hanya menimbulkan gejala ringan atau bahkan tidak menimbulkan gejala. Hal ini membuat anak menjadi sumber penyebaran virus tanpa disadari. Oleh sebab itu, edukasi mengenai cara pencegahan penularan Covid-19 (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat) penting dilakukan untuk mencegah anak terpapar virus Covid-19 dan menjadi sumber penularan tanpa disadari. Mengetahui efektivitas edukasi komik dan leaflet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan orangtua siswa sekolah dasar mengenai PHBS untuk pencegahan penularan virus Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasy experimental dengan rancangan pre-post test group desaign dengan melibatkan 68 orangtua siswa kelas V yang dipilih dengan cluster random sampling. Pengambilan data pengetahuan dilakukan secara daring. Ada perbedaan pengetahuan responden terhadap efektivitas penggunaan media edukasi komik (p=0,) dan leaflet (p=0,). Media komik dan leaflet dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat pada orangtua siswa sekolah dasar sebagai upaya pencegahan penularan virus Covid-19. Media leaflet dianggap lebih efektif karena peningkatan rata-rata skornya lebih besar daripada kelompok media komik.

Abstract

The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia increased significantly from 37.1% in 2013 to 48.9% in 2018. Anemia can be prevented and treated by consuming iron source foods. The purpose of this research is to utilize kelakai flour as an alternative food source of iron in the substitution of chickpea cookies products for pregnant women with anemia. The study used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of three levels of treatment and two repetitions, namely: Comparison of chickpea flour and kelakai flour F1 (30g : 15g), F2 (27.5g: 17.5), F3 (25g : 20g). Analysis of organoleptic test data and chemical properties analysis used Kruskall Wallis test and ANOVA test. The results showed that in organoleptic testing substitution of kelakai flour had a real effect (p<0.05) on taste and aroma parameters. The result of substitution kelakai flour had a real effect (p<0.05) on ash, protein and iron content of cookies. Cookies F3 is the best formulation that had a chemical composition; 463.02 kcal of energy, 17.18% fat, 10.23% protein, 66.87% carbohydrates, 6.97mg of iron. The iron content of cookies F3 has qualified the claim of iron source of food products required by BPOM.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the number of red blood cells or the concentration of oxygen transport in the blood (Hb) is insufficient for the physiology needs of the body.1 The prevalence of anemia (15-24 years old) in Indonesia (2018) was 32%.2 The aimed of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge, tablet knowledge of iron supplementation, nutritional status, Fe intake and consumption patterns of inhibitor and enhancers factors with anemia in adolescent girls. This study found that 63.4% of girls had anemia. The factors associated with anemia in this study were knowledge (p value = 0.004), nutritional status (p value = 0.034) and consumption patterns of Fe inhibitors (p value = 0.009). Based on multivariate test, knowledge of anaemia was obtained as the dominant factor in anemia among adolescent girls with OR 3,3. Suggestions in this study were the need to be counseling about anemia and Fe inhibitor consumption patterns and monitoring nutritional status at UKS SMA/K so that adolescent girls can avoid anemia. Abstrak Anemia merupakan suatu kondisi dimana jumlah sel darah merah atau konsentrasi pengangkut oksigen dalam darah (Hb) tidak mencukupi untuk kebutuhan fisiologi tubuh.1 Prevalensi anemia pada rentang usia 15-24 tahun berdasarkan Riskesdas tahun 2018 adalah 32%.2 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan perilaku konsumsi dengan anemia remaja putri. Penelitian ini didapatkan sebanyak 63,4% remaja putri mengalami anemia. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan anemia remaja putri dalam penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan (p value = 0,004), status gizi (p value = 0,034) dan pola konsumsi inhibitor Fe (p value = 0,009). Setelah dilakukan uji multivariat didapatkan pengetahuan anemia sebagai faktor dominan anemia remaja putri dengan OR 3,3. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah perlunya diberikan penyuluhan mengenai anemia dan pola konsumsi inhibitor Fe serta pemantauan status gizi di UKS SMA/K sehingga para remaja putri terhindar dari anemia. Abstract

Tempeh is made from soybeans, but it can be made from a variety of food ingredients. In addition to reducing the demand for soybeans, whose availability in the country is insufficient, the use of other ingredients as raw materials can add to the nutritional value of tempeh to become more complete. This study aims to prove the effect of yeast concentration and the effect of the proportion of soybeans and jali on the nutritional and organoleptic content of soybean and jali mixed tempeh. The design of this study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with two factors, namely the concentration of yeast and the proportion of soybeans and jali. Each factor consists of three levels of treatment with three replications. Yeast concentration level (k) is k1 with yeast concentration added 0.1%, k2 (0.15%) and k3 (0.2%). As for the proportion of soybeans and jali (p), namely p1 the proportion of soybeans: jali-jali with a ratio of 60:40, p2 (50:50) and p3 (40:60). The results showed that yeast concentration did not affect (P> 0.05) moisture, protein content, fat, carbohydrate, and fiber content as well as organoleptic properties of tempeh. The proportion has an incredibly significant effect (P <0.05) on ash, protein, fat, carbohydrate, and fiber content in tempeh. However, the proportion does not affect (P> 0.05 on ash content and organoleptic properties of tempeh. There is an interaction between yeast concentration and the proportion of tempeh to color.
