Abstract

Bawang Merah merupakan salah satu komoditas yang mempunyai arti penting bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Kebutuhan benih umbi bawang merah di Indonesia terus meningkat namun tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatan produksi nasional. Peningkatan produksi bawang merah dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan ketersediaan bibit dan umbi melalui biji/TSS. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan bibit dan umbi dengan cara pemberian pupuk organik maupun anorganik yang dibutuhkan dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah. Pemberian pupuk organik yang berupa pupuk kandang berfungsi memperbaiki struktur tanah, menaikkan bahan serap tanah terhadap air, meningkatkan mikroorganisme dalam tanah dan sumber zat bagi tanaman. Pemberian pupuk anorganik berupa NPK berfungsi memperbaiki sifat fisika dan kimia tanah yang menunjang pertumbuhan tanaman dan pengolahan tanah. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mendapatkan macam pupuk organik dan dosis NPK yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L) asal TSS (True Shallot Seed). penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Juni 2020. Penelitian dirancang dengan rancangan acak kelompok non faktorial. Ulangan dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali dan diuji lanjut menggunakan uji DMRT 5%. Parameter pertumbuhan meliputi panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, indeks klorofil. Parameter hasil meliputi bobot segar umbi, bobot kering umbi. Pemberian pupuk kandang ayam 5 ton ha-1 dan dosis NPK 400 kg ha-1 merupakan hasil terbaik dalam pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L) asal TSS (True Shallot Seed).

Abstract

Peningkatan produktivitas bawang merah dapat dilakukan melalui penggunaan TSS (True Shallot Seed). Budidaya menggunakan umbi maupun TSS membutuhkan komposisi media tanam yang berbeda. Kemampuan tanaman dalam memanfaatkan nutrisi pada media tanam salah satunya dapat ditingkatkan melalui pemberian PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan komposisi media tanam dan konsentrasi PGPR yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman ba wang merah asal TSS. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Juni 2020 di Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Jawa Timur, Malang, Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian faktorial dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Penelitian menggunakan 2 faktor yaitu komposisi media tanam: tanah + arang sekam (1:1), tanah + kompos (1:1), dan tanah + arang sekam + kompos (1:1:1), dan konsentrasi PGPR: 0 mL L-1, 5 ml L-1, 10 ml L-1, dan 15 ml L-1. Variabel pengamatan meliputi panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, indeks klorofil, bobot segar umbi, dan jumlah umbi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi media tanam tanah + kompos (1:1) dan tanah + arang sekam + kompos (1:1:1)  pada berbagai konsentrasi PGPR (5 ml L-1, 10 ml L-1, dan 15 ml L-1)  memberikan hasil yang lebih tinggi dan berbeda nyata dibandingkan dengan media tanam tanah + arang sekam (1:1) dengan berbagai konsentrasi PGPR pada pengamatan panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar umbi, dan jumlah umbi.

Abstract

Perakitan galur jagung ungu diharapkan dapat meningkatkan dan memperbaiki suatu karakter sifat yang diinginkan untuk dijadikan bahan materi sebagai tetua calon varietas unggul. Keragaman genetik berpengaruh penting pada keberhasilan pemuliaan tanaman. Penelitiaan ini bertujuan mengetahui dan mendapatkan informasi variasi keragaman genetik pada karakter masing-masing galur tanaman jagung ungu S3. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Dadaprejo, Kota Batu pada bulan Januari sampai April 2020. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu benih galur jagung ungu sebanyak 17 galur, pupuk NPK Mutiara 16-16-16, pestisida (Diazinon, Regent), fungisida (Acrobat dan Cabrio) dan air. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Metode single plant selection. Analisis data pada karakter kualitatif dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dan karakter kuantitatif dengan koefisien keragaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada masing-masing galur pada karakter pengamatan didapatkan nilai KK yang variasi dari rendah, agak rendah hingga tinggi. Pada seluruh galur untuk parameter tinggi tanaman, tinggi tongkol, panjang tongkol, diameter tongkol, lebar tongkol, jumlah biji, umur panen, umur bunga jantan dan umur bunga betina menunjukan nilai KK rendah, sedangkan beberapa galur untuk parameter bobot biji pertongkol, bobot tongkol nilai KK tergolong agak rendah dan tinggi namun parameter jumlah tongkol nilai KK tergolong sedang/agakrendah. Pada karakter kualitatif didapatkan pada sebagian karakter masih memunculkan warna karakter lain namun pada sebagian lainnya telah seragam, adapun ialah warna glume, warna anter, warna biji dan warna janggel pada galur P1, P4, P8, P16, P17 (berwarna ungu).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the evaluation of the quality of equality education services in PKBM Citra Ilmu in Semarang Regency, as well as supporting factors and inhibiting factors. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Research subjects are founder, program leader, tutor, and learning residents. The data were collected by: (1) observation, (2) documentation, and (3) interview. Methods of data analysis conducted by: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study reveal that: (1) service quality evaluation is able to face the challenge of education service for the future, (2) its supporting factor is accredited by institution and BAN-PNFI program, and the inhibiting factor is lack of proper salary for tutor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between budget deficits and economic growth based on Keynesian, Neoclassical, and Ricardian Equivalent theories, and to explain the relationship between inflation, poverty, world crude oil prices, and government consumption on economic growth. Time-series data in Indonesia from 1981 to 2019 were analyzed using the Domowitz-El Badawi ECM and VAR methods. The results show that the Ricardian Equivalence is proven to have occured in the short-term in Indonesia, while in the long-term, budget deficit shows a positive impact on economic growth in Indonesia and supports the Keynesian perspective. In the short term, only inflation and government consumption show an impact on economic development: while inflation has a negative effect. In the long run, budget deficit, inflation, poverty, and world oil prices all affect economic growth, while government consumption does not. This proves that government consumption, a fiscal policy, is a policy that has only a short-term effect on economic growth. This study recommends that policies financed by budget deficit are used for long-term investments, such as investment in the education, health, and infrastructure sectors, in order to generate a long-term effect on economic growth.

Abstract

Studying physical science and then teaching it to children, as is known from decades of science education research, creates a huge problem of unknown origin. This study aims to develop a media and determine its effectiveness in increasing knowledge of physics for children. This research is a research and development with the stages of the ADDIE model to develop Roll Book media with the roll technique containing physical science material for early childhood. Data collection techniques were carried out through expert validation tests and field trial data. Analysis of effectiveness test data using a paired sample T-test statistical test. The results of the media effectiveness test showed an increase in knowledge of physics in the pre-test and pots-test. The summary of all the test results of the developed media shows that Roll Book products are effectively used to increase children's knowledge of physics. The concept of storybook media that has been developed in various interesting forms is expected to be an alternative solution for the scientific development of early childhood education studies.
