Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu memperoleh gambaran kompetensi Pedagogik guru Geografi SMA di Kabupaten Bantul pada tahun 2011 didasarkan ketentuan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional nomor 16 tahun 2007 tentang Standar Kualifikasi Akademik dan Kompetensi Guru Desain penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan evaluasi model kesenjangan (discrepancy model of evaluation). Populasi penelitian ini yaitu guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Bantul, dan sampelnya diambil secara acak dari kelompok sampel sebanyak 28 orang dari 49 Guru Geografi di SMA Negeri maupun Swasta di Kabupaten Bantul. Sumber data diperoleh dari Kepala Sekolah, Guru sejawat, dan Siswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data deskriptif secara kuantitatif maupun kualitatif sesuai dengan karakteristiknya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa secara umum, kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Bantul berdasarkan rata-rata penilaian Kepala Sekolah, Guru, dan Siswa pada jawaban instrumen sudah pada kategori balk atau berada di sekitar skala 3, sedangkan hasil kiasifikasi kategori sturguess persentase tertinggi terletak pada kategori Cukup. Penilaian responden terhadap kompetensi inti 5 dan 10 dari kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Bantul dalam kategori cukup (skala 2). Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru dan kepala sekolah lebih tinggi dibandingkan penilaian oleh siswa terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Bantul Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, kompetensi, pedagogik, geografi.

Abstract

The objective of this research are to: 1). Knowing the level of erosion that happened in the upstream of Cisanggarung Catchments' area. 2). Knowing the level of Sediment Yield in Darma reservoir. 3). Determining the estimation age left Darma reservoir.This is the explorative research. Data collecting was conducted with observation method and documentation. Calculating of total erosion summing factors from surface erosion with dale erosion and channel erosion which level of is 25% from surface land;ground erosion that is using Universal approach [of] Soil Loss Equation ( USLE), while calculation of total erosion that is factor losing of land;ground. Erosion enabled to be to be analysed by conversion each;every land;ground erosion criterion enabled with tables guidance of stipulating of value of T for land;ground in Indonesia, is later;then multiplied 10 and land;ground volume weight. Analyse Sediment Yield [counted/calculated] high [of] water [at] highest terendah level until, river stream debit when different, and high [relation/link] and debit irrigate to adrift sediment ( Load Suspended) and sediment creep ( Bed Load), and also debit [relation/link] irrigate with Sediment Yield. Rest of Accumulating basin of Darma known from sediment amount closing over dead accommodationResult research of menunjukan that surface land;ground erosion storey;level that is 31.558,74 ton / year, or mean 573,795 ton/ha/tahun, total erosion 39.448,43 ton / year or 717,244 enabled land;ground erosion and ton/ha/tahun that is 686,033 ton / year or [about/around] 12,473 ton/ha/tahun. datas [of] menunjukan that surface erosion storey;level and total erosion take place big compared to high enough [of] enabled erosion. annual Sediment Yield [in] Accumulating basin of Darma that is 32.996,419 ton / year or 14.873,660 m3. Accumulating basin of Darma cannot function again that is at the (time) of reaching umur ± 84,25 year. Year 2006 Accumulating basin of Darma have operated during 36 year so that the rest of Accumulating basin of Darma fufilled [by] dead accomodation him by sediment that is ± 48,25 dead accomodation or year will loaded full (of) that is [at] year ± 2054.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran menggunakan teknik seven jumps terhadap kemandirian belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Perencanaan Pembelajaran Geografi di Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksplanasi hubungan asosiatif kausal antarvariabel. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas 60 mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi yang mengambil mata kuliah Perencanaan Pembelajaran Geografi pada tahun 2012. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dianalisis secara bivariat.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pembelajaran metode tutorial teknik seven jumps dengan kemandirian belajar mahasiswayang ditunjukkanolehnilai  hitung sebesar 0,511dengan p = 0,000 α0,05). Kata Kunci: kemandirian belajar, seven jumps, geografi USING THE SEVEN-JUMP TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ LEARNING AUTONOMY Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the effect of the use of the seven-jump learning technique on students’ learning autonomy in the Geography Instructional Planning course. This study was an explanation research applying the causal associative correlation. The subjects were 60 students at the Geography study program taking the Geography Instructional Planning class in 2012. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using bivariate statistics.The main finding was that there was a significant relationship between the seven-jump technique and students’ learning autonomy with an observed  of 0.511 at the significance level of (p) = 0.000 α = 0,05. Abstract

The objectives of this research are to: Investigating the level of landslide susceptibility and identifying the distribution of landslide   susceptibility locations in Menoreh Mountains area. This is the  explorative research. The subject of this research are Menoreh Mountains  area in Bagelen, and Bener districts Purworejo regency, in addition to Samigaluh District in Kulonprogo Regency. Land units  were chosen as the sample using the purposive area sampling technique.  Thirty land units were obtained by overlay maps of slope, geology,  and soil types. Data collecting  was conducted  with observation method and documentation  to be analyzed by qualitative deskriptif. Findings shown that (I) the level of landslide susceptibility  that is in four  categories in Samigaluh and Bener districts are low, medium, high, and very high.  While three categories were low, medium, and high clasified in Bagelen  district. The distributions of low landslide susceptibility covered about 46.500.527,08 m2 (2 land units in Samigaluh, 3 land units in Bener, and 3 land units in Bagelen). The medium categories covered about  104480073,8  m2 (l land units in Samigaluh,  4 land units in Bener, and 7 land units in Bagelen). High categories covered about 67734399,31 m2 (each of district is 2 land units). The very high categories covered about 12228602,01 m2 (2 land units for both, Samigaluh and Bener District). Key words: landslide, susceptibility,  mitigation, hazard, Menoreh

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to: Investigating the level of landslide susceptibility and identifying the distribution of landslide susceptibility locations in Bener district Purworejo regency. Land units were chosen as the sample using the purposive area sampling technique. Eleven land units were obtained by overlay maps of slope, geology, and soil types. Data collecting was conducted with observation method and documentation to be analyzed by qualitative deskriptif. Findings shown that (1) the level of landslide susceptibility that is in four categories are low, medium, high, and very high. The distributions of low landslide susceptibility covered about 24042750,21 m2 (3 land units). The medium categories covered about 67768254,22 m2 (4 land units). High categories covered about 4125389,95 m2 (2 land units). The very high categories covered about 6256242,28  m2 (2 land units)

Abstract

Abstract

Abstrak             Longsor lahan merupakan salah satu bentuk bencana alam yang berisiko bagi kehidupan manusia. Dewasa ini di setiap wilayah hampir terjadi perubahan penggunaan lahan yang menuju kondisi yang destruktif. Penggunaaan lahan untuk kepentingan permukiman dan fasilitas hidup masyarakatnya menjadi pendorong utama bencana tersebut terjadi. Perlu diupayakan mitigasi bencana baik secara fisik, sosial, maupun vegetatif. Langkah awal mitigasi yaitu dengan memetakan daerah yang potensial terhadap kejadian tanah longsor lahan. Pemetaan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan spasial melalui proses overlay peta tematik yang diperlukan. Diharapkan pemetaan ini dapat menjadi masukan penting dalam mengurangi risiko bencana akibat longsor lahan. Kata Kunci : Longsor lahan, pemetaan, mitigasi

Abstract

The results of policy research in 2009 showed that geography teachers' understanding and skills in learning assessment still have not reached the standard. The purpose of this activity is the increased understanding of assessment techniques by geography teachers in Bantul with indicators of success at least 70% of participants obtain the results of the assessment in the category ofat least "good" and passed. The training method used theoretical and practical pragmatic thematic. Target Audience activity is geography teachers at the high school geography in Bantul as 41 people. The results: 1) only 35 participant (85.37%) passed with categories “Very good” 15 participant and 20 in “good” category. 2 there is an increased capability assessment techniques by geography teachers in Bantul was evidenced by the average pretest results of participants by 17% before training was conducting.Keywords: assessment, geography, teacher, and learning

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab dan kemandirian mahasiswa menggunakan metode tutorial dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu 60 mahasiswa kelas Nonreguler yang mengambil mata kuliah Strategi Pembelajaran Geografi tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan observasi kemudian dianalisis secara univariat. Keberhasilan tindakan ditunjukkan oleh setidaknya 70% mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan sikap tanggung jawab dan kemandirian dalam kategori baik. Hasil diperoleh dari peningkatan persentase setiap aspek pada kondisi awal, siklus 1, dan siklus 2. Rata-rata sikap tanggung jawab yaitu 81% atau 49 mahasiswa dengan selisih 14% dari siklus 1 dan 39% dari kondisi awal. Hasil sikap kemandirian diperoleh rata-rata 79% atau 47 mahasiswa dengan selisih sebesar 16% dari siklus 1 dan 32% dari kondisi awal. Kata Kunci: tanggung jawab, kemandirian, tutorial, geografi IMPROVING STUDENTS’ RESPONSIBILITY AND LEARNING AUTONOMY BY THE TUTORIAL METHOD AT DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY EDUCATION Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the improvement of students’ responsibility and learning autonomy by the tutorial method using Classroom Action Research. The subjects were 60 non-regular students taking the Geography Learning Strategies course in the academic year of 2012/2013. The data were collected through questionnaires and observation and analyzed using univariate. The indicators of success were that at least 70% of the students improved their responsibility and autonomy into the good category. The findings showed an increase in the percentage of every aspect in the initial conditions, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The average attitude of responsibility was 81% or 49 students with a difference of 14% of cycle 1 and 39% of the initial conditions. The mean of learning autonomy was 79% or 47 students with a difference of 16% of cycle 1 and 32% of the initial condition. Keywords: responsibility, autonomy, tutorials, Geography
