Abstract

The research is motivated by the use of gadgets, especially smartphones, which are increasingly popular among teenagers, especially high school students in Ruteng city. Using qualitative-descriptive research is considered suitable for smartphone use problems and their impact on social interaction. The Conclusion is (1) the use of smartphones has a positive impact, the presence of smartphones helps facilitating students to interact, the presence of smartphones makes the spectrum of communication or social interaction of students expanded; (2) the negative impact of smartphone use, declining quality of communication and direct face-to-face interaction; (3) in relation to school, smartphones make it easier for students to interact with their peers such as discussing certain assignments or subject matter. Space and time barriers can be overcome by interaction through social media such as WhatsApp and Facebook. (4) Excessive use of smartphones also negatively affects students learning. As admitted by students themselves that the functions offered by smartphones often make students complacent and ignore their responsibilities in learning and completing school assignments.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pengaruh Penggunaan Gadget Terhadap Pola Interaksi Sosial Siswa SMA di Kecamatan Langke Rembong. Penelitian di latar belakangi oleh penggunaan gadget khususnya smartphone yang semakin populer di kalangan remaja khususnya pelajar SMA di kota Ruteng.Menggunakanpenelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dianggap cocok untuk masalah penggunaan smartphone dan dampaknya pada interaksi sosial.Diperolehkesimpulan (1) penggunaan smartphoneberdampak positif, kehadiran smartphone membantu mempermudah siswa berinteraksi, kehadiran smartphone membuat spektrum komunikasi atau interaksi sosial siswa diperluas; (2) dampak negatif pengunaan smartphone, menurunnya kualitas komunikasi dan interaksi tatap muka langsung;(3) dalam kaitannya dengan sekolah, smartphone memudahkan siswa dalam berinteraksi dengan teman-temannya seperti berdiskusi tentang tugas atau materi pelajaran tertentu. Hambatan ruang dan waktu bisa diatasi dengan interaksi melaui media sosial seperti whatsApp dan facebook; (4)penggunaan smartphone secara berlebihan juga berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap proses belajar siswa. Sebagaimana diakui oleh siswa sendiri bahwa fungsi-fungsi yang ditawarkan smartphone sering kali membuat siswa terlena dan mengabaikan tanggung jawabnya dalam belajar dan menyelesaikan tugas sekolah.

Abstract

PKM ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah rendahnya kreativitas guru-guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Manggarai, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Problem kreativitas ini membuat siswa kurang berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Implikasinya adalah hasil belajar siswa pun tidak memuaskan. PKM ini bertujuan untuk membantu kreativitas guru agar mampu menghasilkan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran di sini mengedepankan prinsip murah, mudah diperoleh, dan digunakan guru dan siswa. Tim memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru berupa media sederhana, yakni kartu, untuk digunakan sebagai media dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode PkM berupa ceramah, diskusi dan pelatihan. Kegiatan diskusi dan ceramah berisi penguatan pemahaman konsep berkaitan dengan pengembangan media kartu, sedangkan pelatihan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mitra dalam menggunakan media kartu. Hasil PKM menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu memiliki beberapa dampak: (1) partisipasi mitra meningkat, seperti bentuk ekspresi wajah yang riang dan suasana menjadi tidak kaku dan menyenangkan, baik ketika menjawab salah maupun saat menjawab benar; (2) mitra mampu mendesain kartu yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Salah satu strategi untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik adalah pengembangan pembelajaran muatan lokal. Pembelajaran muatan lokal telah diterapkan di sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Manggarai. Hal ini penting sejalan dengan fenomena sikap dan perilaku peserta didik yang menyimpang, seperti kurang sopan dengan orang yang lebih tua, tidak patuh (sundur), tawuran, malas, tidak kreatif, kurang peduli dengan sesama, suka kata-kata kasar. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan urgensi dan model mata pelajaran muatan lokal berbasis budaya Manggarai dalam menunjang penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa muatan lokal berbasis budaya urgen jika dijalankan secara sistematis dan konsisten berdasarkan beberapa prinsip yaitu, prinsip relevansi, efektivitas, fleksibilitas, dan diferensiasi. Selanjutnya model pembelajaran muatan lokal yang diterapkan adalah model tae (memberitahu), model toming (contoh), model pakep (memberi tahu dan memberi contoh), model hae (tutorial sebaya), model lonto leok (musyawarah). Melalui kegiatan muatan local, peserta didik diharapkan memiliki berbagai keterampilan sosial praktis, seperti nenti ba weki (bertingkah laku santun), bae mbate (mengetahui warisan leluhur), haeng tae (memperoleh pengetahuan nilai budaya), molor tombo (keterampilan bekomunikasi), nganceng pande (mampu menerapkan pengetahuan ), to’o bombong (sikap bangga terhadap budaya sendiri)

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the use of scientific-based worksheets in elementary schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. Specifically, this paper explores two things: the importance of using scientific-based worksheets in learning in elementary schools during the covid-19 pandemic; and how to use the worksheets. This research used the library method. In this literature study, the research team collected in-depth information and data through various literatures, books and journal articles, as well as relevant previous research results. The results showed that: first, the importance of the worksheets in elementary schools, namely (a) students actively construct concepts, laws or principles through the stages of scientific learning; (b) able to be active and enthusiastic in learning. (c) encourage students to become “researchers”, think scientifically, critically and analyze. (d) students are able to formulate a problem (by asking a lot of questions), not only solving problems by answering, but students are required to ask questions. Second, the use of the worksheets is as follows: the first thing to do in developing the worksheet is by compiling a scientific-based worksheets design, then testing and the using them, and the last step is making cover, introduction, instructions for using worksheets, table of contents, book menus, concept maps and learning activities. From the results of the research above, it is concluded that the importance of using scientific-based worksheets in learning in elementary schools during the covid-19 pandemic is to attract active students and enthusiasm in learning, encourage students to become "researchers", and foster scientific thinking skills, critical and analysis.

Abstract

The problem that lies behind the research this is the teachers experiencing difficulties in developing the RPP Thematic. The aim of this research is to find out the difficulties of teachers in developing lesson plans Thematic and factors cause difficulty that experienced teachers in developing lesson plans Thematic. The method of writing a thesis is, that the method of study literature. Methods of literature is the method that is used by reviewing books or journals without requiring the research field. Mechanical collection of data in the writing of the thesis is, that is done by way of searching journals and book -book. Based on the results of the study found that difficulties were experienced by teachers in developing lesson plans thematic due to not follow the training curriculum in 2013, is difficult to define indicators and objectives of learning and difficult to determine ratings. In addition to the factors causing difficulty teachers in developing lesson plans thematic is as follows: facilities and infrastructure are less adequate, provision of material teaching the less, as well as teachers difficult making RPP curriculum in 2013 in the study. Based on the results of the study, can be concluded that by following the training curriculum in 2013 to overcome the difficulties of teachers in developing lesson plans Thematic well as providing the means and infrastructure are adequate and provide materials teaching in accordance with the number of students is how to address the factors causing difficulties teachers in developing lesson plans Thematic.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of students’ learning outcomes at SDI Wae Ciu becaused of the use of conventional learning models. The purpose of the study was to describe the comparison of student learning outcomes through the use of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model, and also to describe whether using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model could improve student learning outcomes. This type of research was quantitative research with experimental methods. Experimental research was causal (causation) where its evidence was obtained through comparisons between the experimental group (which was treated) through the use of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model, and the control group (which was not treated). Data collection techniques was the test to collect data on student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used was the t-test, after testing the normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model had a positive influence on student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the Paired Samples T-Test analysis, the posttest results obtained in the experimental class and control class were known that the t-count is 0.05 with a significance of 0.000. The significance value (2-tailed) which showed 0.000 > 0.05, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model also determined the accuracy of the expected goals, learning would be effective, efficient and the expected learning outcomes would be achieved. Based on the research that has been done, there was a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes by using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model.
