Abstract

The research as purpose: (1) To find out and analysis the development of open unemployment rates in Jambi Province; and (2) What factors influence open unemployment in Jambi Province. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, namely multiple linier regression using data from 2000-2017. The results of this study indicate: (1) The average development of open unemployment in Jambi Province is 0,53 percent; (2) The results of data analysis show that during the period 2000-2017 GDP, wages, inflation, and investment had a positive and significant effect on open unemployment in Jambi Province. A level of labor force participation does not significantly influence open unemployment in Jambi Province. Abstract

The purpose of this research were to analyze the economic growth, investation, government expenditure, inflation, and wage the employment of Jambi Province. This research used ordinary least squares. The F test indicated that simultaneously the variables of the economic growth, investation, government expenditure, inflation, and wage significantly affected the employment of Jambi Province. While T test revealed that partially investation, government expenditure, and wage affected the employment of Jambi Province. Meanwhile, the variables of economic growth and inflation insignificant to the employment of Jambi Province. Keywords: Employmen Oppotunity, Investation, Government Expendicture, Wage.

Abstract

Study aims to: 1) To find out the development of economic growth, inflation and the level of open unemployment in Jambi Province; 2) To analyze the influence of economic growth, inflation and the open unemployment rate on the number of poor people in Jambi Province. This research uses secondary data for the period 2001-2016. The method used in analyzing the data is by using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The poor population in Jambi Province from 2001-2016 has decreased, where the number of poor people in Jambi Province has decreased by 0.46 percent. Economic growth in Jambi Province on the basis of constant prices from 2001-2016 experienced an average fluctuation of 6.23 percent per year. During the period of 2001-2016 the inflation rate in Jambi Province was an average of 12.25 percent. The highest number of unemployed occurred in 2005, amounting to 133,964 people and then in 2016 a decrease of 67,671 people; 2) Every increase in economic growth in Jambi Province is 1 percent, the poverty rate of the population in Jambi Province will decrease by 0.140 percent. The results of this test indicate that economic growth has a negative impact on the number of poverty in Jambi Province. Every increase in the inflation rate by 1 percent, the poverty rate will increase by 0.002 percent and every increase in the unemployment rate in Jambi Province by 1 percent, the poverty rate of the population in Jambi Province will increase by 0.052 percent. Together economic growth, inflation and unemployment have a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate of the population in Jambi Province during the period 2001-2016. Variation in ups and downs the poverty rate of the population in Jambi Province is able to explain economic growth, inflation and unemployment by 35.2 percent, while the remaining 64.8 percent is explained by other variables not included in this research model.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of education levels, economic growth, employment opportunities and wages on the level of educated unemployment in Jambi Province. The data used is time series secondary data from 2001-2016. Data is sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province. Data were analyzed descriptively and multiple regression models. The results showed that simultaneously the level of education, economic growth, the level of employment and wages had a significant influence on the level of educated unemployment in Jambi Province. Partially the level of education and the level of employment have a significant effect while economic growth and wages do not affect the level of educated unemployment in Jambi Province.

Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan  untuk menganalisis:  1)  perkembangan   tingkat pengangguran terbuka, upah minimum, tingkat pendidikan dan pertumbuhan penduduk. 2) pengaruh upah minimum, tingkat pendidikan dan pertumbuhan penduduk terhadap tingkat pengangguran terbuka pada provinsi-provinsi di Pulau Sumatera.  Data yang digunakan adalah data panel selama kurun waktu tahun 2013-2017   yang meliputi 10 Provinsi di Pulau Sumatera.  Alat analisis menggunakan  regresi  data  panel.  Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa secara simultan, upah  minimum,  tingkat  pendidikan  dan  pertumbuhan  penduduk secara bersama-sama berpengaruh  signifikan  terhadap  tingkat  pengangguran terbuka pada provinsi-provinsi di Pulau Sumatera. Selanjutnya, secara parsial, tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap tingkat  penganguran  terbuka,  sebaliknya upah  minimum  dan  pertumbuhan  penduduk  tidak  berpengaruh  signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan petani kopi. Lokasi penelitian adalah di Desa Bunga Tanjung Kecamatan Betara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang bersumber dari responden petani kopi. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 120 orang petani kopi. Alat analisis  menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa jumlah produksi, biaya produksi, luas lahan, harga jual, dan jumlah tenaga kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani kopi
