Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the socioeconomic characteristics of female workers in pre-prosperous families who received PKH and To find out and analyze the effect of age, education, work experience and working hours of respondents on the income of women workers in pre-prosperous families who are PKH recipients in Alam Barajo District, Jambi City. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The method of analysis used in this research is the method of analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis method using a quantitative approach, and using multiple linear regression formulations. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variables of working hours, age, and work experience have a significant effect on the income of women workers in pre-prosperous families who are PKH recipients. Meanwhile, the level of education has an insignificant effect on the income of women workers in poor families who are PKH recipients in Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) To analyze the socio-economic characteristics of cinnamon bark (cassia vera) smallholders in Pengasi Lama Village, Bukit Kerman District, Kerinci Regency. 2) To analyze the effect of land area, number of plants, price, and production costs on the income of cinnamon bark (cassia vera) smallholders in Pengasi Lama Village, Bukit Kerman District, Kerinci Regency. The analytical method used in this research is a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression formulation. Based on the socio-economic characteristics of cinnamon bark (cassia vera) planters in Pengasi Lama Village, it is dominated by planters with an average age of 31-38 years of productive age, with effective age the majority of respondents being male, namely 65 people. The intermediate level of education of Cinnamon bark (cassia vera) planters is 39 people, the average family burden is 2-3 people, and the average income is IDR 301,728,000. Based on the study results, it was shown that the variable land area had a negative and insignificant effect on the income of cinnamon bark (cassia vera) planters. In contrast, the variable number of plants, price, and production costs had a positive and significant effect on the income of cinnamon bark (cassia vera) smallholders in Pengasi Lama Village.  Keywords: Land area, Production, Income.

Abstract

The main objectives of this research are: First, to know the characteristics of coffee farmers in Kayu Aro Barat District. Second, analyzing the factors that affect the income of coffee farmers in Kayu Aro Barat District. The data used is sourced from the identity of the respondent (sample) and a list of questions (questionnaire) given to the Sumber Sustenance Farmer Group in Pasar Minggu village, Kayu Aro Barat District. The sample used in this study were 55 respondents. The method used to analyze this research is descriptive quantitative. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis based on Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Based on the results of this study, the average farmer is male, with an average age of 51 years and an average marital status of married. The number of dependents with an average of 4 people, Length of work as a farmer with an average of 9 years. The latest education is a farmer with an average high school graduate, with an average income of Rp. 11,772,726, with an average household expenditure of Rp. 3,068,544, and the average production amount is 2.06 tons. The regression results show that the variables of selling price, capital, and land area have a positive and significant effect on the income of coffee farmers in the Sumber Rezeki farmer group in Kayu Aro Barat District, Kerinci Regency.
