Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) to determine and analyze the progress of labor, land area, total production, and the type of plantation commodities period of 2001-2013. (2) to determine and analyze the contribution of plantation sub-sector of the agricultural sector and GDP (Gross Domestic Product) Muaro Jambi period of 2001-2013. (3) to determine and analyze the role of plantation sub-sector to the economy in Muaro Jambi period of 2001-2013. This study used secondary data obtained from Statistics of Muaro Jambi and Dinas Perkebunan of Muaro Jambi. The descriptive analysis method qualitative and quantitative descriptive. To view the role of plantation sub-sector to the economy of the area using the model Location Quotient (LQ). The development of plantation sub-sector workforce Muaro Jambi period of 2001-2013 fluctuated. The average number of workers in the plantation sub-sector in Muaro Jambi is 5.05%. Type of plantation crops derived from people's plantations such as rubber, oil palm, coconut, hybrid coconut, robusta coffee, pepper, cocoa, nut, hazelnut, cardamom, cotton, palm. While large plantations state and private estates include rubber and palm oil. The development of the land area of plantation sub-sector in Muaro Jambi during the period of 2001-2013 amounted to 3.53% on average per year. Plantation sub-sector GDP contribution in Muaro Jambi period of 2001-2013 amounted to 50.97%. The role of plantation sub-sector Muaro Jambi 2001-2013 period average of 1.3037 is the base (LQ> 1).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perkembangan jumlah unit usaha dan perkembanagn jumlah penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri pengolahan di kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jambi serta faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel dari tahun 2010-2013 di 11 kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jambi dengan metode Random Effect. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh hasil: (1) rata-rata perkembangan jumlah unit usaha sektor industri pengolahan sebesar 9,83%. (2) rata-rata perkembangan jumlah penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri pengolahan sebesar 9,03%. Sedangkan pengolahan data menggunakan Eviews.09 regresi data panel dengan model REM diketahui secara bersama-sama variabel bebas (nilai produksi, unit usaha dan upah) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri pengolahan. Sedangkan secara individual diperoleh hasil : (1)variabel nilai produksi berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan, (2)variabel unit usaha berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, (3)variabel upah berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of irrigation and network expenditure and the development of GDP output in the agricultural sector of the city of Jambi during the period 2005-2015 and analyze the effect of irrigation and network spending on GDP Output in the agricultural sector and economic growth in Jambi City. The results of the study showed that during the study period of 2005-2015 with an average growth of 61.98%, the average value of GRDP at the price of Jambi City was 157,601.68 in million rupiahs with an average growth of 13.67% and the lowest growth occurred in 2006 at 6.60%. Based on the regression results, the results show that the first model of irrigation and network expenditure has a positive and significant effect on the GRDP of the agricultural sector while in the second model irrigation and network expenditure has no significant effect on economic growth

Abstract

Desa Renah Alai bukan hanya terkenal dengan sayuran, dan strawberry tetapi juga terkenal dengan tanaman kayu manis. Tanaman kayu manis ini merupakan sejenis rempah-rempah yang digunakan sebagian besar oleh ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam pembuatan kue, dan makanan lainnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa komoditas tanaman kayu manis memiliki banyak manfaat dan potensi yang besar. Saat ini mayoritas masyarakat Desa Renah Alai banyak yang membudidayakan kayu manis, namun pengolahan turunan kayu manis masih sangat minim sekali. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengolahan kayu manis menjadi sirup. Hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat  meningkatkan pendapatan, kesejahteraan petani kayu manis dan mencegah menurunya harga kayu manis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the exchange rate and foreign investment on Indonesian exports from 1990-2018. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency Indonesia, Bank Indonesia, and the Investment Coordinating Board. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression models. The results showed that the development of the exchange rate, foreign investment, and exports tend to fluctuate. The exchange rate and foreign investment simultaneously have a significant impact on Indonesia's exports. In addition, the exchange rate and foreign direct investment partially have a significant impact on Indonesia's exports.
