Abstract

This study aims to analyze 1) How is the development of the allocation of balancing funds (DAU, DAK, and DBH) in Jambi Province 2) What is the condition of the level of inequality between regions in Jambi Province 3) How does the allocation of balancing funds (DAU, DAK, and DBH) affect the level of inequality between regions in Jambi Province. The analysis used is a descriptive quantitative analysis and uses secondary data. From the results of this study, it was found that the development of the allocation of Balancing Funds (DAU, DAK, and DBH) in Jambi Province tends to increase. The development of the level of inequality between regions in Jambi Province tends to decline. The average value of Williamson Index Jambi Province in 2010-2019 is 0.47, so it can be concluded that the level of inequality between regions in Jambi Province is in the medium category. DAU and DAK have a significant effect on the level of inequality between regions in Jambi Province, while DBH does not have a significant effect on the level of inequality between regions in Jambi Province.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) To analyze BMD management by the Jambi Provincial Government in accordance with Permendagri No. 19 of 2016. 2) To analyze the potential for saving APBD in the Jambi Provincial Government in the management of BMD. 3) To identify and analyze the factors that influence the level of savings in BMD management in the Jambi Provincial Government. 4) To know and analyze the relationship between APBD savings from the elimination of BMD and regional revenues of Jambi Province, and 5) To analyze the strategies that the government should take in an effort to eliminate BMD for saving BMD maintenance costs in the Jambi Provincial Government. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression, correlation, and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the research that the implementation has been carried out in accordance with Permendagri No. 19 of 2016 is planning needs and budgeting, procurement, acceptance, storage, and distribution, utilization, security, assessment, transfer, and compensation claims. Partially the leadership, attitude, and policy variables have a significant effect on the savings variable. The result of the correlation shows that the saving value has a moderate relationship with the regional income of Jambi Province. Based on the results of the SWOT matrix analysis in eliminating BMD, namely recruiting HR, maintaining the completeness of BMD ownership documents, and providing additional incentives for BMD management staff.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of unemployment, poverty, HDI, economic growth, investment, and UMP in Jambi Province, to analyze the influence of HDI, economic growth, investment, and UMP factors on unemployment in Jambi Province, to analyze the relationship between unemployment and poverty in Jambi Province. The data used in this study is secondary data with the type of Time series 2000-2019 data in Jambi Province, research data originating from the Central Statistics Agency. This study uses multiple regression analysis and correlation and uses the SPSS tool. The effect of the human development index, economic growth, investment and the provincial minimum wage on unemployment in the province is concluded by the human development index, economic growth, investment and provincial minimum wage on unemployment in Jambi Province with an R2 of 80.7 percent. Based on the test, it can be seen that the correlation value between unemployment and poverty has a strong relationship with the correlation coefficient value of 0.767 with a positive and significant direction (0.045 <0.05).
