Abstract

Instalasi Listrik merupakan salah untuk menyalurkan tenaga listrik dari pusat pembangkit ke pusat beban. Kebakaran gedung diakibatkan oleh listrik sering terjadi. Kebakaran tersebut diakibatkan beberapa hal seperti : instalasi yang tidak sesuai standar PUIL, penggunaan kotak kontak menumpuk, pemeliharaan instalasi kurang teratur, umur instalasi melebihi standar. Permasalahan tersebut penting diatasi dengan melakukan sosialisasi keamanan instalasi listrik bagi masyarakat untuk menghindari terjadinya bahaya kebakaran pada gedung. Pemahaman tentang hemat energi juga penting bagi masyarakat agar masyarakat dapat menghemat biaya listrik. Sasaran dari pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat yang sehari-hari mengoperasikan peralatan listrik di Banjar Tingkih Kerep, Kecamatan Penebel Kabupaten Tabanan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari kegiatan persiapan hingga pelaksanaan yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus sampai bulan Nopember 2017, sosialisasi bertempat di Balai Banjar Tingkih Kerep dengan metode ceramah dengan alat peraga instalasi listrik berdasarkan PUIL 2011[1]. dan sosialisasi hemat energi serta diskusi. Dilanjutkan dengan pemasangan stiker bahaya listrik dan stiker hemat energi ke rumah-rumah penduduk. Hari berikutnya dilanjutkan dengan pemasangan lampu penerangan luar dengan kabel tanam sebagai contoh instalasi listrik yang benar. Terakhir dilakukan evaluasi hasil kegiatan sosialisasi yang telah dilakukan kepada masyarakat dan masyarakat menyatakan memahami pemakaian listrik yang benar.

Abstract

Motor induksi tiga fasa merupakan salah satu mesin listrik yang banyak digunakan di dunia industri. Sesuai dengan peran dan fungsinya, maka motor induksi tiga fasa dinilai sangat penting dalam dunia industri, sehingga motor induksi diharuskan bekerja dengan baik dan aman. Banyak sekali jenis-jenis gangguan yang berpotensi untuk mengganggu fungsi dan kerja motor atau bahkan merusak motor itu sendiri di antaranya yaitu unbalance voltage dan overload. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat suatu alat yang bertugas untuk mengamankan motor induksi tiga fasa terhadap gangguan unbalance voltage dan overload berbasis mikrokontroller ATMega 328. Alat ini juga memiliki fitur monitoring yang dilakukan pada komputer.

Abstract

Bali National Golf Resort has a high level of non-linear load usage. A harmonic is emerged due to a high level of non-linear load usage which was the main problem on the quality of electric power. On the other hand, it is also lead to an adverse impact for the electric power system such as the wave form and voltage were not sinusoidal. Then, in order to reduce it, an active filter could be used as one of the best way. This research focused on the simulation of PID (Proportional Integral Derivate) Controller towards an active filter to reduce the harmonic and MATLAB R2013 software that applicated as the instrument. As the result,the usage of PID Controller on the active filter could reduce the THDi into 1.89% and THDv into 0.59 % as an average percentage at Bali National Golf Resort.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of air temperature, wind speed and rainfall on changes in electrical loading. The object in this research is PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Denpasar. Software used Untulk analyze multiple linear regression models using SPSS software. The results of the analysis showed 10.4% of the electrical burden affected by temperature variables. Then on the rainfall Model 3% electric load is affected by the rainfall variables and on the wind speed model of 2.3% The electrical load is affected by the variable wind speed. A simultaneous 15.8% of the electrical load is influenced by variable temperature, rainfall and wind speeds. The remaining 84.2% is influenced by other causes outside the model.

Abstract

RSBM feeder is one of the feeders sourced from transformer 2 of the Amlapura Substation. This feeder is a radial type 20 kV distribution network configuration with 133 distribution transformers with a total power of 5.428 kVA and a load of 144 amperes. The lowest voltage condition in RSBM feeders has reached 18,608 kV or a voltage drop of 6.96%. To overcome the voltage drop and power loss in RSBM feeders, it is necessary to reconfigure the network. Network reconfiguration is done by planning a new feeder (Rendang feeder). Analysis of power loss and voltage drop using the help of ETAP software. Based on studies that have been done, before the network reconfiguration is obtained the percentage of voltage drop is 6,98% and the power loss is 5,68%. After being reconfigured with a new feeder plan (Rendang feeder), it showed good results, ie the percentage of voltage drop dropped to 2.09% and the power loss dropped to 3.20%. Whereas the Rendang feeder showed good results with the percentage of voltage drop of 2.78% and the power loss of 3.47%. Based on load forecasting for the next 5 years on RSBM feeders the voltage drop and power loss are still according to the standard. Whereas the Rendang feeder occurs a voltage drop and a power loss that is not up to standard in 2023, namely a voltage drop of 5.20% and a power loss of 5.07%. So that for the Rendang feeder in 2023 it is necessary to break the load or reconfigure the feeder again.

Abstract

Crossflow turbine is a type of turbine that often used as a prime mover in MHP system. thistype of turbine has an advantage witch can be applied in low head with high water discharge. Theoutput power from this turbine is effected by the number of blades that installed on the tubine runner.The aim of this study is to hold an experimental study of the number of blade that used on crossflowturbine to get the maximum output power. The number of blade that used is 10, 14, 18, 22, and 26blades. Where from the result of calculations, it is found that turbine with number of blades 18 hasthe higest efficiency with a value of 8,52%.

Abstract

Beban non linier adalah beban yang komponen arusnya tidak proporsional terhadap komponen tegangannya. Meningkatnya pengoperasian beban-beban non linier mengakibatkan terjadinya distorsi harmonisa Sehingga perlu diketahui perbandingan distorsi harmonisa dan rugi-rugi daya sebelum dan sesudah terpasangnya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya, pada penyulang Abang Karangasem, dengan menggunakan software simulink MATLAB. Hasil simulasi pada kondisi sebelum terpasangnya Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya nilai THDi sebesar 14,81% dan nilai THDv sebesar 0,01%, rugi-rugi daya adalah 0,109272 KW.Pada kondisi sesudah terpasangnya PLTS nilai THDi meningkat sebesar 21,60% dan nilai THDv tetap sebesar 0,01%, rugi-rugi daya meningkat sebesar 3,7237KW.

Abstract

In every power plant there are several power quality problems that greatly affect apower system, one of which is harmonics. Harmonics are a multiple of the basic frequency ofthe system so that the waves in the resulting system are not pure sinusoidal and in the end cancause interference with equipment in the power system, one of which is an induction motor. tosuppress the harmonic content by adding a passive filter. Simulation using the simulink methodin Matlab aims to determine changes in the performance of the 3-phase induction motor atrotation and torque by adding a passive filter to suppress the harmonic content in the network.The simulation results obtained data and in the form of wave images analyzed for differences.On the motor, there is no change in rotation, namely 1498 Rpm and torque of 0.4682 Nm.In the network there is a decrease in THD when a passive filter is added to the currents in eachphase R, S, and T, which is 1.40% with a load of 3 motors.

Abstract

Garbage is often a problem, especially in big cities. The average amount of waste in Indonesiais 64 million tons / year, while the number of landfills in Indonesia is around 400 with a landfill capacitythat can accommodate 233 kg / day. Not to mention the unpleasant odor and dirty city views causediscomfort. This is where a solution is needed by leading to the use of technology in an effort tocreate a clean environment by reducing the level of waste accumulation and reducing waste litteredwith the Internet of Things technology. This tool is able to monitor the height of waste and gas contentvia the web. The internet system uses the MCU Node module with energy supply from solar cells.Working voltage of the control system is 5V, a stepdown module is needed to reduce the batteryvoltage from 12V to 5V. Detection of the height of waste using a PING sensor and to determine thelevels of methane gas using the sensor MQ-135. From testing at Student Center LT 4, it was foundthat the garbage accumulated on Saturday by 60 cm with 126 PPM methane gas levels that indicatedunhealthy. This monitoring system can last up to 7 days because it uses solar cells, but this canexperience changes due to the intensity of the sun.

Abstract

Media in the distribution of electrical energy is still using wired until now, in the futurecable may be abandoned and switch to wireless. The scientist of Nikola Tesla creat the Teslacoil which will become the forerunner of wireless electricity distribution that can turn on lights bymeans of air. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of distance on voltage, current,power, electromagnetic induction emitted and the flux of light. The method of analysis usescalculations, tests and measurements obtained from primary data. In general, the data used inthis thesis are the input voltage 5 V and current 1 A, the voltage result by the high voltagegenerator was 400 kV, the number of secondary windings was 1400 coils, the number ofprimary turns was 10 coils, the pipe diameter was 3.81 cm. The diameter of the torus was 8 cm,the distance of the spark gap was 1 cm, the lamps used were TL 8 W, 5 W, LED 5 W andincandescent lamp 5 W, the test used variations in the distance of 1 cm, 3 cm, 5 cm, 7 cm, 9 cmand 11 cm from transmitter to load.From all the tests carried out with distance variations to voltage, elektromagneticinduction and flux, it was found that distance greatly with TL 8 W affected the voltage was 0.2 V,electromagnetic induction was 22859,2 x 10-7 Tesla and light flux emitted by the lamp was 4.8 x10-4 Lumen. If the radius or distance of the transmitter was got closer, the value could receiveget bigger and the farther the value could get smaller.
