Abstract

Abstract: One important issue in the social interaction in organizations is a matter of nepotism because workers’ perceptions of nepotism affect job satisfaction, organizational commitment and intention to stay. The purpose of this study was to test and develop theoretical models of nepotism in relation to intention to stay within the framework of Equity Theory and Organizational Justice. Simple random sampling was using to choose respondent and data was analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). Empirical data proving that nepotism should be measured by indicators from the perspective of reflexive ethical and not just by looking at family relationships/kinship. Hotel Melati managers are advised to use a Familiar management style and recruit workers from the local environment to increase endurance (survival) of hotels in the neighborhood. The model needs to be examined on organizations with different characteristics and are advised to include other variables as a mediating or moderator variable.Keywords: organizational justice, nepotism, intention to stay

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB)with The Mediation of Followers’ Trust in Leader and Job Satisfaction. This study aims to analyze theeffect of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with the mediation offollowers’ trust in leader and job satisfaction. The populations involved in this study are the permanentemployees of Industrial Training Centre of Ministry of Industry, which consisted of 175 employees. Thisresearch sample is equal to population. Furthermore, this study used internet survey method in collectingthe data. A total 175 questionnaires were handed out with a total 148 valid questionnaires for a return rateof 85%. Data are analyzed by using Partial Least square (PLS) with the support of SMARTPLS 2.0software. The results showed that transformational leadership has no effect on OCB, transformationalleadership has a positive effect on follower’s trust in their leader and job satisfaction, follower’s trust intheir leader and job satisfaction has a positive effect on OCB. The findings indicate that the influence oftransformational leadership on OCB is indirect, mediated by the follower’s trust in their leader and jobsatisfaction.Abstrak: Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transformasional Terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior(OCB) dengan Mediasi Kepercayaan kepada Atasan dan Kepuasan Kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap organizational citizenshipbehavior (OCB) dengan mediasi kepercayaan kepada atasan dan kepuasan kerja. Populasi pada penelitianini adalah pegawai tetap Balai Diklat Industri Kementerian Perindustrian yang berjumlah 175 orang.Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sama dengan populasi. Lebih lanjut penelitian ini menggunakan metodeinternet survey dalam pengumpulan data. Sebanyak 175 kuesioner disebarkan dan hanya 148 kuesioneryang kembali atau sebesar 85%. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least square (PLS) dengansoftware SMARTPLS 2.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional tidakberpengaruh terhadap OCB, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaankepada atasan dan kepuasan kerja, kepercayaan kepada atasan dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positifterhadap OCB. Hasil temuan mengindikasikan bahwa pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadapOCB adalah tidak langsung, dimediasi oleh kepercayaan pegawai kepada atasan dan kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture and employee satisfaction to organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of nurses. The research population were nurses from private general hospital type C in the city of Denpasar with number of respondents were 85 nurses. Sampling technique conducted with a random proportional sampling technique. The research instrument used questionnaires and analyzed with Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment and OCB, employee satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment and OCB.

Abstract

This study aims is to determine the effect of Organizational Justice and Job Insecurity on contract employee at PT. Wico Interna, Singaraja, Bali. Job Satisfaction on contract employees is important to note, because Job Satisfaction will give employees encouragement to work optimally in resolving any issues that arise. Job satisfaction is a set of employees feelings about their jobs . There are several variables that can affect Job Satisfaction , such as the Organizational Justice and Job Insecurity. 30 respondents were chosen using census method and analyzed using Partial Least Square. The analysis showed Organizational Justice positive effect on Job Satisfaction, Organizational Justice and the subsequent influence of Job Insecurity on Job Satisfaction showed a negative and significant effect

Abstract

Insurance agent is an essential  element in order to  maintain the existence of the insurance companies in  thebusiness  competition.  This  study  aimed  to  investigate  the  eff ect  of   j ob  satisfaction  and  organizational  commitmenton insur ance agent tur nover intention.  This study was conducted at PT. PRUDENTIAL INDONESIA - Bali.Simple  r andom  sampling  was  used  because  of  homogeneous  population  characterist ic.  160  questionnai reswere  distributed,  and  only  155  questionnaires  were  returned  by  the  respondents.  Structural  Equation  Modeling(SEM)  using AMOS  16.0  was  used  to  test  the  research  hypothesis.  The  resul ts  of  the  study  support   all  thehypothesis  and  indicate  that  job  satisfaction has  significant  posi tive  effect  on  organizational  commi tment  so  itis  advisable  for the company to  continue improvement  of  the job satisfaction of insurance  agent s in  order  toenhance  organizational  commitment.  In  contrast,  job  satisfaction  and  organizational  commitment  consistentlyshow a negat ive and  significant  effect on  turnover intention

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh dukungan organisasional terhadap kepuasan kerja dan  komitmen organisasional, serta mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasional. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 48 responden, yang semuanya adalah karyawan outsourcing dari vendor teknologi informasi di Depo Arsip PT X. Penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) dukungan organisasional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, (2) dukungan organisasional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional, (3) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung teori bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi dukungan organisasional karyawan terhadap organisasi maka kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional akan semakin tinggi. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pihak vendor dalam hal membuat kebijakan dan keputusan terkait dengan dukungan organisasional, kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional. Pihak vendor disarankan lebih meningkatkan perhatiannya terhadap indikator dukungan atasan, gaji, komitmen berkelanjutan, karena indikator  tersebut dipersepsikan kurang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional karyawan. Responden penelitian adalah 66 orang karyawan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan digunakan teknik Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap komitmen organisasional dan kepuasan kerja selanjutnya kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasional.

Abstract

Although the presence of expatriates have a positive impact for Bali tourism development, the high turnover of expatriates effect to the high costs incurred in the company. The purposes of this study is to test the Sablynski model which base on Schein’s Organizational Culture theory, which found organizational culture has negative influence on expatriate turnover intention. The study population was all expatriates in a five star hotel in Nusa Dua – Bali, which are 66 person. Data were analyzed using linear regression analysis with SPSS. The result proves that organizational culture negatively affect expatriates turnover intention. This study suggests the need to increase the sense of connection between expatriates and the company by improving the company's ability to identify the presence and duration of expatriates working in the company as well as the need for companies to make the standards of conduct and training on organizational culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the influence of organizational culture on affective commitment, the influence of affective commitment on OCB, the influence of organizational culture on OCB and the mediating effect of affective commitment on the influence of organizational culture on OCB. These samples included 83 employees are determined using proportionate random sampling method. Data were obtained from questionnaires and interviews. The analytical tool used in this study using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that organizational culture positive effect on affective commitment, the better the culture of the organization, affective commitment is also getting stronger. Affective commitment positively affects the OCB, the stronger the affective commitment has embraced the OCB behaviors also higher. Organizational culture positive influence on OCB, semaik both an organizational culture that is applied then OCB also higher. Results of testing the hypothesis is further produced that affective commitment partially mediates the influence of organizational culture on OCB.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja karyawan sangat penting pada perusahaan, untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaanperlu memperhatikan kecerdasan emosional dan stres kerja karyawan. Ketika karyawan merasakankepuasan dalam bekerja maka karyawan akan melaksanakan dan menyelesaikan pekerjaan denganbaik. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di PDAM Tirta Mangutama Kabupaten Badung, data penelitiandiperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner terhadap 159 karyawan dengan menggunakan metode proportionate random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square (PLS).Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan pengaruh negatif kecerdasan emosional dengan stres, pengaruh positifkecerdasan emosional dengan kepuasan dan pengaruh negatif stres dengan kepuasan kerja.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kecerdasan emosional dan kepuasan kerja sertamemperhatikan stres kerja sehingga karyawan dapat memajukan perusahaan.
