Abstract

ABSTRACT   The  experiment  pot  of  the effect  compost in the critical  land on the  production  onions, peanuts, and soybeans, the goal is to get organic  agricultural  production and determine the optimal dose of compost for plant onions, peanuts and soybeans. Before  the experiment of compost treatment  was  conducted  the  compost and  soil  as  media plant  to analyse  the chemical  properties. After  the experiment of compost treatment  was conducted  the soil as  media  plant  to analyse the chemical properties. The  experiment  design of methode  was  used  complate  randamized design (CRD) with the  five treatment compost and four replication.   Dosage of compost consists of  0 tonnes/ha  (0 g/pot)  as a control,  30 tonnes /ha  (75 g /pot);  60 tonnes/ha (150 g/pot);  90 tonnes/ha (225 g/pot),  and 120 tonnes/ha (300  g/pot). The parameter were observed  wet  weight of  plants,  quantity and weight  beet  the production  plant of onions;  wet weight  of  plants, quantity and weight of  pod pea and  seed  the  production  plant  of  peanuts and  soyabeans.  The  data of  analysis  was  used  the  analysis  of variance (Anova)  and  the  least significant  difference (LSD). The results showed  that  treatment  of compost very significant  effect  on  the growth  and  production of plant onions, peanuts and soybeans. Treatment  compost  90 tonnes/ha (225 g/pot)  provide  growth and  yield  of  plant  onion, peanuts, and soybeans maximum. Keywords: compost, onion, peanut, soybean, critical land

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk menentukkan kelas kemampuan lahan di Kecamatan Lolak Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode survei. Penilaian klasifikasi kemampuan lahan berdasarkan metode USDA dan pembuatan peta klasifikasi kemampuan lahan dengan metode overlay (geoprocessing) dengan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di daerah penelitian terdapat empat kelas kemampuan lahan yaitu kelas III, IV, VI dan VII dengan luas masing – masing sebagai berikut kelas III dengan luas 8347,72 hektar, kelas IV dengan luas 548,32 hektar, kelas VI dengan luas 8987,45 hektar dan kelas VII dengan luas 30039,19 hektar. Kemiringan lereng dan permeabilitas merupakan faktor pembatas utama dalam kelas kemampuan lahan di daerah penelitian.Kata kunci : Peta Kelas Kemampuan Lahan, Kecamatan Lolak, Klasifikasi Kemampuan Lahan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis

Abstract

AbstractThe objective this study was to predict erosion rate and erosion hazard level in DumogaSub-watershed. The study is expected to provide spatial information on erosion rateand erosion hazard level in Dumoga Sub-watershed, particularly for spatial planning as wellas soil and water conservation. Erosion was predicted employing USLE while spatial analysiswas conducted using Geographic Information Systems (ArcView 3.3). Rainfall data were collectedfrom three weather stations, erodibility values obtained by analyzing samples fromthree soil types, slope categories were determined using DEM (Digital Elevation Model), valuesof the landuse and soil conservation were determined by means of satellite image interpretationin and field survey as well. It was found that soil erosion ranged from 0.39 to16.800 tonnes /ha/year. The lowest erosion rate occurred on forest land and ricefield withhacingflatslope. The highest erosion rate was identified on farm land having very steep slope.Erosion hazard level varied from verylow to very severe. It is necessary to perform soil andwater conservation measured on the land experiencing severe to very severe erosion hazardas to reduce soil erosion.Keywords: Erosion, Geographic Information System, Watersheed

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to analyze the landslide prone areas in Sub Watershed of Tondano in order to obtain the vulnerability information and dissemination in the form of map by using the Geographic Information Systems. The study was conducted by using a Descriptive Method which consisted of a survey and map overlay, while the identification of areas prone to landslides using the scoring method. Parameters measured were soil type , slope , elevation , land use and rainfall . The results showed that the spread of landslide-prone areas in the Sub Watershed of Tondano consisted of five classes of landslide susceptibility, namely (1) No class landslide prone area of 993.12 ha, or 23.64%, spread over an area of 137.42 ha districts Eris, Kakas of 1.31 ha and 854.39 ha area of East Tondano; (2) The low vulnerability class area of 207.59 ha, or 4.94%, spread over an area of 144.10 ha district of Eris, Kakas area of 0.29 ha and 63.20 ha area of East Tondano; (3) Moderate impact class area of 894.19 ha, or 21.28% spread over an area of 503.06 ha district of Eris, Kakas area of 114.97 ha and 276.16 ha area of East Tondano; (4) High vulnerability class area of 469.23 ha, or 11.17% spread over an area of 256.27 ha district of Eris, Kakas area of 48.03 ha and 164.93 ha area of East Tondano; (5) Highest area of 1637.23 ha or 38.97% spread over area of 455.60 ha district of Eris, Kakas area of 45.46 ha and 1136.17 ha area of East Tondano.Key Words : Mapping, Landslide, Sub Watershed of Tondano, GIS (Geographic Information System)

Abstract

Abstract The objective of this study aims to determine the value or the value of soil erodibility K at various heights along the road Manado - Tomohon. The metode used in this research is the method of stratified random. Analisis soil texture using a pipette. The data is then inserted in the soil texture triangle K values for determining the K value of the land at any altitude. Things are observed is 1). Slopes, 2). land use, 3). Soil texture, and 4). K Value. The data obtained in terms of three grades K arranged in tabular form to determine the value of K dignity and then described descriptively. The results showed that at altitude: 1). 200 m above sea level K value of 0.379; 2). 300 m asl K value of 0.393, 3). 400 m asl value amounted to 0,384 K, 4). 500 m above sea level K value of 0.397, 5). 600 m asl K value of 0.376, 6). 700 m above sea level K value of 0.370, and 7). 800 m asl K value of 0.430. Based on the K value obtained at each altitude or soil erodibility K values are rather high. Keywords: Erodibility Land (K), High Places

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The research on soil tailing was conducted to know its potency for corn (Zea may L.). It was arranged in descriptive survey descriptive methods and laboratory analysis for soil texture, permeability, total N, available-P and available-K, organic-C and soil pH.  Data analysis was done by matching the soil tailing characteristics and the criteria of land suitability for corn.  The result showed that the tailing was potencial for corn growth.  Keywords: Soil tailing, Soil potency

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine some physical properties of soil on strawberry plantation land in Rurukan urban Tomohon. The things observed in this research are: Soil Texture Weight Fill Soil Soil Porosity, Soil Permeability and Soil Water Level. Implementation of research activities in the field is done through the stages as follows: Data collection / soil samples were conducted on plots of strawberry plantation at the 15th week after planting consisting of: Land does not use compost and without plastic mulch (K0P0). Land with compost (K) and plastic mulch (P) with compost dose level, namely: 1) 0 ton / ha (K0P1); 2). 15 ton / ha (K1P1); 3). 30 ton / ha (K2P1); 4). 45 ton / ha (K3P1); And 5). 60 tons / ha (K4P1). That with compost treatment with different doses and plastic mulch and soil treatment resulted in differences in the percentage of sand, dust and clay fraction which then gave different values on the weight of soil contents, porosity, permeability and water content in strawberry plantation.Keywords: study.
