Abstract

A pot experiments was conducted in September 2000 until January 2001 at Experimental Station of Faculty ofAgriculture, Udayana University. The experiment was arranged in Completely Randomized Design with treatmentsallocation in factorial with three replications. The treatments were : the first factors consisted of four rates of N,P,Kfertilizers: F1 = 300 kg Urea, 75 kg SP.36, 50 kg KCl ha-1 (1.2 g Urea, 0.3 g SP.36, 0.2 g KCl pot-1) ; F2 = 250 kgUrea, 50 kg SP.36, 25 kg KCl ha-1 (1.0 g Urea, 0.2 g SP.36, 0.1 g KCl pot-1) ; F3 = 200 kg Urea, 25 kg SP.36, 0kg KCl ha-1 (0.8 g Urea, 0.1 g SP.36, 0 g KCl pot-1); F4 = 150 kg Urea, 0 kg SP.36, 0 kg KCl ha-1 (0.6 g Urea, 0 gSP.36, 0 g KCl pot-1). The second factors were three kind of alternative fertilizers : Fr (Floran), Gn (Greener) andDg (Dekorgan) each rate 3 l ha-1 or 1.333 ml pot-1 (concentrations 3 ml l-1 water). The results indicated that theinteractions between fertilizers rates (N,P,K) with kind of alternative fertilizers were not significantly different forall variable observed. The alternative fertilizers not significantly different for all variable too but fertilizers rates(N,P,K) affected the fertile number of rice tillers and highly significantly affected to the available P and K in the soil.The treatment of 250 kg Urea, 50 kg SP.36, 25 kg KCl ha-1 gave the highest fertile tillers (37.00 tillers pot-1) andavailable P in soil (10.18 ppm) but the treatment of 300 kg Urea, 75 kg SP.36, 50 kg KCl was observed the highestavailable K in the soil. The combination treatment of 300 kg Urea, 75 kg SP.36, 50 kg KCl ha-1 with Dekorganproduced the highest rice yield (65.69 g pot-1) or 58.14 % higher than the lowest yield produced by combinationtreatment between 200 kg Urea, 25 kg SP.36, 0 kg KCl ha-1 and Dekorgan.

Abstract

A study of fertilizer formulation (organic + inorganic) to increase the formation of sapwood (gubal) on agarwood plants (Gyrinops versteegii), had done to find the best fertilizer formulation that capable of increase and accelerate either growth and agarwood formation of sapwood on agarwood trees. The first year of study was conducted in Marga Tabanan Village. The field research was Randomized Block Designed (3 groups) with single factor of treatment. The tested treatment were 6 formulation of compound fertilizers and a control (unfertilized treatment). The compound fertlizers consisted of urea, SP-36, KCl, local compost, and dolomite in varying doses. The fertilizer formulations were applied on 21 agarwood trees that previously inoculated with mixed inoculant of Fusarium solani and Rhisopus sp. Three months after inoculation, the data from the following parameters were measured and statistically analyzed: plant height, stem circumference, sapwood weight, resin content and soil chemical properties.The results showed that the tested fertilizer compound had significant effect on plant height, sapwood weight, and resin rendement. No significant effect of fertilizer compound measured on the stem circumference. The highest sapwood weights was obtained on C treatment (14.39 g). The highest resin yield was obtained on B treatment (3.91%) which was relatively the same as that on C treatment (3.85%). Thus, the best fertilizer formulation for either plant growth, agarwood formation or agarwood resin was C treatment (100 g urea + 100 g SP-36 + 100 g KCl) + (7.5 kg compost) + (75 g Dolomite) per tree.

Abstract

This study aim is to determine the effect of the application of Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation of sapwood formed on agarwood plants at three specific locations in Tabanan Regency. This research is a factorial experiment with basic CRD design (completely randomized design). The first factor is location specific consisting of 3 location namely: Pupuan Subdistrict (Pu), Penebel Subdistrict (Pnl), and District of East Selemadeg (Sl). The second factor was the treatment of the Gaharu-C formula fertilizer consisting of 2 ie: 0 (without fertilizer), and C (Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation: 100 g urea + 100 g SP-36 + 100 g KCl) + (7.5 kg compost ) + (75 g dolomite) per tree), each treatment replicated three times. Number of plants used as many as 18 trees. Parameters observed included increased stem diameter, sapwood color, weight of sapwood, resin content and soil chemical properties data. Data analysis used variance analysis and LCD test (?= 0.05). The results showed that specific-location factors had significant effect on increasing stem diameter. However, had no significant effect on the color of sapwood, sapwood weight and resin level of sapwood. The fertilizer factor of Gaharu-C formula has no significant effect on all parameters observed. The highest increase of stem diameter was obtained at Pupuan location (0.40 cm), followed by East Selemadeg (0.32 cm), and the lowest Penebel (0.15 cm). The weight of sapwood and the highest resin content was obtained at the Sl C treatment of 5.34 g and 6.43%. The best application of Gaharu-C fertilizer formulation is in East Selemadeg Subdistrict.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Cacao plant at Subak Abian Buana Sari Dusun Megati Kelod, Desa Megati, Kecamatan Selemadeg Timur, Tabanan regency were relativelly new. The farmers did not understand cultivation and the exact fertilizer dosage for cacao plant in their locations. In this community servise , the teams transferred to the farmers some informations about soil fertility, balance fertilization dosage, spesific locations fertilization dosage for cacao plant, and demonstration plots balance fertilization spesific location for cacao plant at Subak Abian Buana Sari. The activity results that the farmers understand about soil fertility, balance fertilization, spesific location fertilization dosage for cacao plant and to observe demonstration plot balance fertilization for growth, development, and yields of cacao plant. The yields of cacao plant increased 88,89 % respectively compared to without demonstration.

Abstract

Cultivations of banana plant at dusun Kesiut Klod, desa Kesiut, Kecamatan Kerambitan, Tabanan regency were relatively non intensified. Farmers did not know plant cultivation, banana disease, and free-disease banana seedling. (free Pseudomonas solanacearum and Fusarium oxysporum). In this activity the community services aimed at transferring some information to the famers about cultivation of banana plant, fertilization for banana plant, banana diseases, and demonstration about application Biota L and Persada function for seedling banana plant. The result of this short course conducted in dusun Kesiut Klod, desa Kesiut on 26 September 2011 with 50 attendants was exciting, because most farmers were interested in the course substances and training. materials They understand and be able how to treat and apply Biota L and Persada for seedling of banana plant.

Abstract

Blank (11pt)Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani tentang teknologi budidaya tanaman gaharu, pemupukan dan inokulasi pohon gaharu dengan inokulan jamur Rhisopus sp. dan Fusarium solani. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 4 bulan yaitu bulan Juli sampai Nopember 2016, terhitung mulai penjajagan kelapangan sampai pelaporan. Kegiatan meliputi : 1) penyuluhan tentang budidaya tanaman gaharu, dan pemupukan berimbang pohon gaharu, 2) pelatihan cara menginokulasi pohon gaharu, 3) demplot tanaman gaharu pada kebun petani. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan penyuluhan tanggal, 25 Oktober 2016, para petani Subak Abian Sida Karya, Dusun Petang sangat tertarik dan antusias mengikuti penyuluhan mengenai materi yang diberikan oleh para penyuluh dan materi pelatihan cara melakukan inokulasi pohon gaharu, hal ini nampak dari kehadiran petani (90 %) dan banyaknya pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan pada saat diskusi mengenai budidaya, pemeliharaan, pemupukan berimbang tanaman gaharu, cara inokulasi, serta manfaat dan nilai ekonomis tanaman gaharu. Setelah selesai penyuluhan kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan praktek cara melakukan inokulasi pohon gaharu yang telah berumur 4 tahun. Kelian Subak Abian Sida Karya (I Gusti Nyoman Suartha) telah menyiapkan lahan 3 are untuk pembuatan demplot tanaman gaharu. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan serta keterampilan para petani khususnya dalam budidaya tanaman gaharu, diharapkan dapat menambah deversifikasi sumber pendapatan, sehingga dapat memberikan peningkatan terhadap pendapatan para petani setelah terbentuk gubal gaharu. Tanaman menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang cukup bagus, sampai umur 2 minggu tanaman telah tumbuh dan terbentuk tunas yang baru. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan ini maka dapat disarankan sebagai berikut : perlu dilakukan pembinaan terhadap Subak Abian Sida Karya, Dusun Petang, Desa Petang, Badung secara berkesinambungan berkenaan dengan teknik budidaya, pemupukan tanaman gaharu, dan inokulasi pohon gaharu, serta manfaat daun dan ranting tanaman gaharu yang telah diinokulasi, sebagai bahan teh celup dan dupa gaharu.

Abstract

Abstract

Research dealing with effects of organic rubbish and waste formulation on the quality of compost fertilizer was conducted in Agriculture Experiment Station, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Pegok, Denpasar, between June and October, 2007.The experiment utilized Randomized Complete Design, one factor with 10 formulation treatments and 3 replications. The treatments namely: A (100 % organic rubbish), B (75 % organic rubbish + 25 % pahitan plant), C (50 % organic rubbish + 50 % pahitan plant), D (75 % organic rubbish + 25 % waste of chicken cages), E (50 % organic rubbish + 50 % waste of chicken cages), F (75 % organic rubbish + 25 % waste of cow cattle), G ( 50 % organic rubbish + 50 % waste of cow cattle), H (75 % organic rubbish + 25 % waste of pig cattle), I (50 % organic rubbish + 50 % waste of pig cattle), and J (50 % organic rubbish + 12.5 % waste of cow cattle + 12.5 % waste of chicken cattle + 12.5 % waste of pig cattle + 12.5 % pahitan plant).The results showed that the treatment was highly significant to all parameters of compost at seven weeks incubation. The best formulation was E treatment, it was supported by increasing total nitrogen (1,61 %), available phosphorus (5,83 g/kg), Cation exchange capacity (CEC) (41,70 me/100 g), but decreasing C/N ratio (17,14), pH (7,07) and electric conductivity (very low).

Abstract

Evaluation of Soil Fertility Status with Geographic Information System (GIS) Based on Subak Land at West Denpasar District, Denpasar City, Bali Province This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility, to determine the characteristics of the soil which is a limiting factor to the status of soil fertility, to provide recommendations for land management, and to determine the spatial distribution of soil fertility status on Subak land in West Denpasar District. This research was conducted from December 2020 – March 2021. The method used in this research is the field survey method and soil test with fertility status parameters including Cation Exchange Capacity, Base Saturation, C-Organic, Total phosphate, and Total potassium with reference to the Technical Guidelines for Evaluation of Soil Fertility Bogor Soil Research Center (1995). The results showed that the soil fertility status at the study site was classified as moderate (Subak Pagutan) and high (Subak Semila; Subak Mergaya; Subak Tegal Buah; Subak Tegallantang). Parameters of low total P content in Pagutan Subak and moderate in Semila Subak, Tegal Buah Subak, and Tegallantang Subak as well as moderate K-total content in all subaks are the limiting factors in this fertility status so it is necessary to apply phosphate fertilization in Subak which has a limiting P-total and potassium fertilization as well as adding organic matter to the entire Subak.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Quality Test of Some Compost Fertilizer that circulate in Denpasar City This research to aims knowing the quality physical and chemical properties of 10 compost that meets several criteria according to SNI 19-7003-2004. This research starts from the sampling of fertilizers that have been circulate in the market. This research consists of several stages of laboratory analysis with that assessment parameter analysis results include water content, pH, N-total (method Kjeldhal), P2O5 and K2O total (extract method HCL 25%), C-organic (Walkley and Black method), and C/N ratio. Based on the results of physical and chemical quality test of the parameters which is conducted compost fertilizer, there are only 2 organic fertilizer most suitable from 10 types of fertilizers, namely fertilizer Bio-extrrim Trubus and  Putri Liman Simantri 096 Blahbatuh, Gianyar has met the several criteria of compost according to SNI 19-7030-2004. The next compost fertilizer that does not comply with some of the SNI, namely Petrokimia Gresik, Good Compost Trubus, Bioorganic Simantri 027 Kelating, Kerambitan, Tabanan, Sapi Trubus, Bintang Tani Marga, Tabanan, Kambing Trubus, Higher For Grow and Agung Singapadu Gianyar, each fertilizer on average had higher levels of C-organic, C/N ratio, organic matter, which is not comply to the  SNI 19-7030-2004.
