Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang model knowledge management untuk memonitoring prestasi akademik pada pergurun tinggi mengambil studi kasus di IBI Darmajaya yang dapat digunakan oleh Biro administrasi Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan (BAAK) untuk memonitoring prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Model ini digambarkan dengan pemodelan usecase mulai dari gambaran proses bisnis dan pengembangan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) mulai dari analisis, desain, dan implementasi sehingga model sesuai dengan kebutuhan sistem. Hasil berupa informasi peningkatan dan penurunan prestasi akademik digunakan sebagai akomodasi kebutuhan data, informasi dan pengetahuan untuk melakukan peringatan dini, menentukan sanksi akademik, dan rekomendasi beasiswa. Sehingga Perguruan Tinggi memiliki sebuah model yang membantu mahasiswa lulus tepat waktu, dan memudahkan pihak pengelola beasiswa dalam pembuatan laporan ke pihak pemberi dana dan sampainya perkembangan prestasi akademik kepada orang tua mahasiswa.

Abstract

Beberapa tahun terakhir ini, peranan smartphone pada saat ini semakin penting dan telah menjadi suatu bagian yang penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat. Smartphone memberikan fasilitas android sebagai dasar yang dimiliki oleh sebuah mobile phone pada umumnya dan di dukung dengan beberapa fasilitas dari sebuah personal komputer. Pembuatan Aplikasi E-Tourism mobile berbasis android untuk menyebarkan informasi dan mempromosikan potensi pariwisata di Provinsi Lampung dengan menggunakan metod penelitian kualitatif yang terutama untuk menentukan titik-titik pada tempat lokasi pariwisata di Provinsi Lampung dan penyusunan desain rancang bangun aplikasi ETourism menggunakan Software ARCGIS dengan metode metode prototype. Hasil yang dicapai pada penelitian tahun pertama ini adalah Arsitektur SIG berbasis mobile pada aplikasi E-tourism, Analisis Activity Diagram Pada Sistem, Rancangan Interface Admin

Abstract

Aim of the research is to design information system for Penetapan Angka Kredit (PAK) of functional Lecture grade based on computerized system. This system produces a report of PAK, and has facilities for data entry and searching, so that, it produces of information: accuracy, timelines, and relevancy. This research uses paradigm of system development life cycle, shish covers the activities of gathering data through observation, interview and literature study; system analysis uses flow map ; system design uses context diagram, data flow diagram, data dictionary, entity relationship diagram, file relationship, file structure, program structure, input design, output design and menu structure.

Abstract

Aktifitas penelitian mahasiswa dapat dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan dan mutu pendidikan di perguruan tinggi tersebut. Dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan maka perlu berkembang dan bervariasinya tema penelitian, sehingga tidak monoton pada masalah tertentu saja. Banyaknya jumlah mahasiswa yang mengajukan judul tugas akhir, skripsi dan laporan praktik membuka peluang data yang serupa, penjiplakan laporan tugas akhir, skripsi dan laporan kerja praktik serta kesulitan dalam menentukan pembimbing yang sesuai. Abstract

 The design of knowledge management based applications to monitor this academic achievement facilitated interface in the form of Applications used by the manager of academic achievement in Higher Education. Students academic achievement is generally shown through the evaluation results in final form with GPA, as well as at Informatics Business Institute (IBI) Darmajaya. IBI Darmajaya to produce competent graduates in their field is not enough just to provide learning support facilities such as adequate facilities and infrastructure, reliable lecturers, good curriculum, and scholarship facilities. Application Monitoring academic achievement is needed so that IBI Darmajaya can continue to control the increase or decrease in student achievement so that it can pass on time. Therefore, the design of knowledge management based applications for monitoring academic achievement as an interface in the management of academic achievement is needed. With the stages of SDLC, knowledge management system will provide convenience in the design of applications, so the application produces information that becomes knowledge for IBI Darmajaya and the manager in particular can monitor academic achievement, controlling the increase in student achievement in each semester, so that students are motivated to learn and pass appropriately time. Abstract

IBI Darmajaya as colleges can also apply CRM to improve customer management at institutions like corporate training center. IBI Darmajaya training center providing information related to training, also play a role as ‘career centre’ that bridges the corporate and college alumni. Alumni and partner companies or companies which alumnus absorb the labor force, either working together or not, is a customer that receiving IBI Darmajaya services about training and job information. Career centers currently provide training and job information on the alumni that still taking education or a student and only with companies that work together. This allows the service as well as the connection between alumni, companies and IBI Darmajaya less effective, because the information provided by the career center is not necessarily known to the alumniand even the partnerscompany. That requires a CRM application at the career center, so that IBI Darmajaya have yielded information communication media according to the needs of alumni and companies. Abstract

Data mining is a term that used to discover hidden knowledge in the database. Data mining is a semi-automatic process that uses statistical techniques, mathematics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to extract and identify potential useful information and knowledge that stored in large databases. One of methods in data mining is association rule method where this method will looking for a set of items that frequently occur together. This method is often analogous as shopping cart which can be known, what items are frequently purchased together and which items are not. The advantage of this method can be utilized to determine amount of inventory that must be provided in a business. In this paper will be made of a mining system that will show the trend of buyers in a restaurant so that decision-makers will be able to determine amount of groceries accordance with the business need to minimize losses. Abstract

Public Universitiesand Private Universities are recently contesting each other to improve their qualities and facilities in order to attract new students to come in. The high quality and the number of facilities belonging to universities are not a guarantee to get prospective students as they are targeting. This phenomenon occurs due to many factors. One of the factors causing the matter is that the way in delivering information to the prospective students and their parents is not right and not compatible with their needs so that the prospective students and their parents do not know the quality, the educational programs, the facilities, and another information which belong to the universities. It also occurs in IBI Darmajaya, one of the top private universities in Lampung. According to the obtaineddata of this research, the number of the new students who joinedgenerally decline compared with the previous year; while, the number of students who did not finish theirstudy was high enough. One of the solutions to overcome these problems was by providing information through the exact media which provided the needs of the prospective students and their parents. By using this way, it was expected to convince the prospective students to join and to finish their study.In order to provide the information which was compatible with the needs of the prospective students and their parents, the E-CRM system equipped by the data mining was developed. The database which was provided in IBI Darmajaya was processed by the data mining in order to be used as an input for the E-CRM system. This system providedthe information for the relevant unit about what the informational media which had to be used were and what information which should be given to the prospective students and their parents was. To find out the successfulness of the implementation of this system, the Critical Success Factor (CSF) was carried out. Abstract

Information services application for students, is one of the form of loyalty from Universities to the students to be active and not left behind in existing information. Student information services previously informed through wall magazine, banner or brochures, this has not been delivered properly and didnt have any activities data either extracurricular activities or intracurricular activities.  Regarding to all interested parties in IBI Darmajaya especially give best service to the student hence the importance of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Application to increase the flow of information needed by students, increasing student interest in every activity, having a database of the most interested activities and to accommodate IBI Darmajayas interest. The data used in this research is all the activities information in the student affair, processed through Rational Unified Process (RUP) method with four phases done in sequence and iterative where each iteration can be used to fix iteration with visual programming language, hence resulting a well produced CRM application for information services. Keywords : CRM Application, Information,  and SDLC.
