Abstract

Student Worksheet (LKS) is a learning media for experimental activities which as a source of student learning which can provide experiences for students, develop skills, and influence their attitudes. The purpose of this study is to produce a Worksheet Discovery-Character Experiment to hone the scientific attitudes and character of students that are suitable to be used in learning. This research is a 4D development study but only reached the development stage. Data collected in the form of LKS feasibility data from experts (lecturers and teachers). Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the Discovery-Character Experiment worksheet (discovery learning integrated character education) is very feasible to use with an average percentage of 93%. This worksheet is equipped with 3 Temperature and Heat experiment worksheets, concept maps, discussion material, practice questions, and self-evaluation related to students' scientific attitudes and characters. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the worksheet was arranged using discovery learning that is integrated in character education at the temperature and heat material of class X vocational high school. Each learning activity which integrated discovery learning can build students’ character and scientific attitude.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) acquire the form of the development of physics oriented learning module SETS (2) Determine the increase studens critical thinking skills after participating physics module SETS result oriented evelopment. The research was conducted in MAN 1 Madiun, with the sample and the population of student of class X. Trial conducted in small class and large class. Used technique of data collection is open questionnaire, pre test ang post test. Pre-requisite test result of analysis is the test of normality Liliefors and homogeneity Bartlett. Result of test analysis instrument using validity, reliability, level of difficulty and different power problems. Result of this research are (1) the result of the assessment carried out by the validator to the development of product obtained an average score of 3,21,considered feasible (2,8 < X  3,4). Result of student responses when small class test showed a good response with an average score 3,28 and an average score 3,23 in the limited class test,then the product is appropriate to the student's response. (2) increase student critical thinking abilities showed moderate improvement, it can be seen from the average of n-gain obtained 0,6 (0,3 < g0,7). (3)conclusion of development SETS based modules to improve critical thinking ability equivalent high school student on the topic of dynamic electricity decent quality for use by the user in the learning process.

Abstract

The  objectives  of this reseach  are:  (1) to help  students  choose  the most  suitable  learning  method,  (2) to serve  qualified  learning  to pass the threshold  level, (3) to make up the average  students'  mark in physics.  The method  of the study is experiment  applied  on students  of Grade X, SMA 6 Madiun.  The sample  is taken  under  cluster-random   sampling  technique having  class  XC  and  XD.  Data  on  students'   achievement   are  taken  by cognitive   test,  those  of  prior  achievement   are  taken  by  documentation technique,   those   of  creativity   and  abstraction   skill  are  taken   by  test. Hypothetical  examination  is done under factorial  anava 2x2x2x2.The  results  show  that:  (1)  there  is a different   influence  between guided  inquiry and free-modified   inquiry technique  (0.005 < 0.05), (2) there is influence  of high and low prior achievement  (0.000  < 0.05), (3) there is influence  of high  and  low students'  creativity  (0.039  < 0.05),  (4) there  is influence  of high and low abstarction  skill  (0.014 < 0.05), (5) there is no interaction   between   guided   and free-modified     unquiry technique  with students'  prior achievement  (0.043 < 0.05), (6) there is interaction  between guided and free-modified   unquiry technique  with students' creativity  (0.043 < 0.05), (7) there  is interaction  between  guided  and free-modified    unquiry technique  with  students'  abstraction   skill  (0.032  < 0.05),  (8) there  is no interaction   between   guided   and free-modified     unquiry   technique   with students'  prior  achievement,   creativity   and  abstraction   skill  towards  the achievement  (0.595 > 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga ODD "Osilator Digital Detector" sebagai alat peraga praktikum gerak harmonik sederhana yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penilaian validator terhadap  alat peraga yang dikembangkan mendapatkan prosentase kelayakan sebesar 83,1 % s ehingga alat peraga praktikum ODD layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil uji coba produk alat peraga ODD "Osilator Digital Detector" yang dikembangkan untuk menjembantani mahasiswa dalam mempelejari gerak harmonik sederhana mendapatkan respon positif dari mahasiswa yaitu pada uji kelompok kecil sebesar 72,6 % dan pada uji kelompok besar atau uji lapangan sebesar 78,1%. Peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa diperoleh dari nilai pretest dan post test yang kemudian dihitung dengan menggunakan statistik untuk mencari N-gain,  kemudian didapati N-gain (G) sebesar 0,5 pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the effectiveness of ice breaking as an effort to increase the students’ learning motivation. This research was conducted in the Science Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Nganjuk, East Java, Indonesia. The sample in this study was 25 students in the third semester who took the mechanics course.The sample used in this study was taken using purposive sampling technique. This type of comparative research is used in this study. Data collection techniques used, questionnaires, observation sheets, and documentation. This type of research is comparative which is used to examine differences in student learning motivation before and after being treated. The results of the study were based on the Paired T Test shows value probability/ p Paired T test value of 0.000. This means that there are differences in student learning motivation after being given the ice breaking learning model. This ice breaking was implemented as an effort to reduce saturation and boredom of the students during the learning process. The new thing that is obtained is that the application of games can increase learning motivation

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a learning model based on Blended Learning in the concept of Distance Learning in order to be able to improve students' 4C competencies. The research conducted is a type of research quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). Research instruments include: questionnaires, observation guidelines, validation sheets, FGD instruments, tests, and documentation. The research subjects involved 57 sudents in second semester who were taking Basic Natural Sciences courses. The model trial used a one group pretest-posttest design. Test the effectiveness of the developed model using the t test. Improvement of 4C Skills Competence using the Gain Score test. The results showed that there was an effect of the blended learning model in the distance learning system on increasing 4C competencies (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, and Communication). The N-Gain test is 0.6 (medium category) which means that there is an increase in 4C competence before and after being given the blended learning model. The data shows that the average value for the pretest results is 63.14 and the average posttest score is 82.65. The novelty of this research is the application of various online platforms such as Google Classroom, Google Slides, Google Meet, Kahoot, online educandy games, and youtube in supporting the blended learning model.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan warga retardasi mental Dusun Sidowayah, Sidoharjo, Jambon, Ponorogo, Jawa Timur dalam beternak kambing. Program ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan April-November 2019. Sedangkan metodenya menggunakan akon-akon kambing. Metode ini merupakan teknik pemeliharaan kambing milik orang lain dan dianggapnya miliknya sendiri, bagi hasil dan pengelolaan bergulir. Hasilnya  pelaksanaan kegiatan akon-akon ini, warga retardasi mental termotivasi dan keterampilannya beternak menjadi meningkat. Peningkatannya ditunjukan memberi perlakuan awal pada kambing peliharaannya sebesar 29,55%, memberi perlakuan harian 11,93%, memberi perlakuan musiman 20,5%, dan memberi perlakuan akhir 22,5%. Investasi program ini dalam 151 hari telah kembali modal dan mendapatkan keuntungan dalam bentuk anak kambing dan uang dari penjualan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kelayakan, keterbacaan, dan format dari LKS Discovery-Character Experiment khususnya pada materi Suhu dan Kalor kelas X SMK untuk mengasah sikap ilmiah dan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D namun hanya sampai pada tahap penilaian ahli. Kelayakan LKS ini dinilai oleh lima validator dengan aspek kelayakan LKS yaitu aspek didaktik, aspek konstruksi, dan aspek teknis. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif presentase. Melalui hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kelayakan LKS sebesar 92,151% dalam kriteria sangat layak. Adapun keterbacaan LKS diujikan kepada lima siswa SMK dengan aspek keterbacaan meliputi kemudahan penggunaan, kesesuaian tampilan, dan kegunaan fitur LKS praktikum. Hasil analisis keterbacaan memperoleh rata-rata presentase sebesar 94,06% yang menunjukkan bahwa LKS telah memenuhi syarat keterbacaan dan mudah dipahami.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kesulitan belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Sunan Ampelterkait pembelajaran IPA pada materi gerak.Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Sunan Ampel, diambil secara cluster, dari kelas VII –A dan VII -B sebanyak 48 siswa.Penulis mencoba mengamati mencari kesulitan belajar siswa dengan pengisian angket dan penganalisisan kekuatan dan kelemahan siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran gerak.Dari angket yang disebarkan  menunjukan bahwa  kesulitan belajar terkait pembelajaran IPA terletak pada Fisika yaitu rumus dan perhitungan,mereka merasa lemah pada kemampuan matematis.Sedangkan dari pengamatan melalui pendekatan tujuan pembelajaran materi pembelajaran gerak dengan pemberian soal tentang gerak menunjukan siswa kelas VII MTs Sunan Ampel secara umum lemah dalam kemampuan matematis. Siswa yang lemah dalam penguasaan konsep sebanyak 6% sedangkan  siswa yang lemah dalam kemampuan matematis sebanyak 69 %.Dari hasil peneitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesulitan belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Sunan Ampelterkait pembelajaran IPA terletak pada lemahnya kemampuan matematis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran terintegrasi Augmented Reality sebagai sumber belajar siswa kelas X SMK Cendekia Madiun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Produk yang dikembangkan adalah modul yang terintegrasi Augmented Reality pada pokok bahasan Getaran dan Gelombang. Modul pembelajaran terintegrasi Augmented Reality ini telah melalui tahap uji validasi dengan melibatkan 5 validator dengan rata-rata persentase capaian sebesar 77,7% menurut ahli materi dengan kategori layak, 72,5% menurut ahli media pembelajaran. Hasil uji coba kelas kecil oleh 6 siswa dilaksanakan di SMK Ma’arif Dolopo menunjukkan respon siswa terhadap modul yang dikembangkan dengan persentase sebesar 78,67% dengan kategori baik dan hasil uji coba kelas terbatas di SMK Cendekia Madiun terhadap 20 siswa menunjukkan respon siswa dengan persentase sebesar 71,60 % dengan kategori baik. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran terintegrasi Augmented Reality ini memenuhi persyaratan dengan kualitas baik dan layak digunakan sebagai modul penunjang dalam pembelajaran. This study aims to develop an integrated learning module of Augmented Reality as a learning resource for grade X students of SMK Cendekia Madiun. This study uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) method. The product being developed is a module integrated with Augmented Reality on the subject of Vibrations and Waves. This Augmented Reality integrated learning module has gone through the validation test stage with an average percentage of achievement of 77.7% according to material experts with the feasible category, 72.5% according to instructional media experts. The small class trial results by six students showed an achievement percentage of 51%, and the results of a limited class trial with 20 students showed an achievement percentage of 31%. From the results of this study, this Augmented Reality integrated learning module meets the requirements with good quality and is suitable for use as a supporting module in learning.
