Abstract

Kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan pembentukan komunitas Aktivis Hijau. Kegiatan telah dilakukan berdasarkan 3 tahap, yaitu: persiapan, kerja sama dan aplikasi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan 2 kali pada tahap persiapan dan implementasi. Tahap persiapan adalah kegiatan untuk pengenalan pengelolaan limbah 4R (mengurangi, menggunakan kembali, mendaur ulang dan mengganti) untuk mempersiapkan siswa tentang pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengelolaan limbah. Tahap kerjasama dilakukan melalui diskusi antara siswa di komunitas Aktivis Hijau dan Dinas Kebersihan, Pertamanan dan Pemakaman (DKPP) Tarakan, terutama untuk membahas lokasi dan waktu kegiatan. Tahap aplikasi adalah tahap akhir, di mana siswa menerapkan hasil yang telah diperoleh pada tahap persiapan. Hasil evaluasi pada tahap persiapan dan implementasi diperoleh nilai rata-rata untuk setiap aspek yang baik dan memiliki rata-rata di atas 75

Abstract

Kanker payudara dapat dideteksi dini dengan melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) yang bertujuan mencegah risiko tingkat lanjut dan dapat menurunkan angka kematian pada penderita, karena kanker dapat ditemukan lebih awal sehingga akan memberikan harapan hidup yang lebih lama. Tujuan peneliti ini untuk mengetahui faktor keterlambatan pengobatan pada wanita penderita kanker payudara di RSUD Kabupaten Simeulue tahun 2018. Penelitian ini meggunakan kualitatif yaitu metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan tujuan utama untuk membuat gambaran atau deskripsi tentang Faktor keterlambatan pengobatan pada wanita penderita kanker payudara di RSUD Kabupaten Simeulue. Analisis data meliputi pengelolahan data dengan tahapan data reduction, data display, dan conclusion or verificasion. hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi terjadinya keterlambatan pengobatan kanker payudara salah satunya oleh tingkat pendidikan informan, pengentahuan dan fasilitas pengobatan yang kurang lengkap, sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya keterlambatan dalam penanganan kanker payudara. Sedangakan faktor pendukung keluarga, teman dan petugas kesehatan hanya meyakinkan informan untuk segera mengobati penyakitnya secara tuntas. Faktor keterlambatan pengobatan yaitu pendidikan dan pengetahuan rendah, keterlambatan pengobatan di tempat pengobatan sebelumnya tidak lengkap, faktor keterlambatan pengobatan karena ketiga komponen faktor ini baik keluarga, teman ataupun petugas kesehatan hanya menguatkan informan untuk segera mengobati penyakitnya.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is student of class VII8 SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018, which amounted to 35 students, consist of 17 boys and 18 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrument of data collection in this research consist of observation sheet and assessment sheet. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of observation techniques and test results of mathematics learning techniques. The analysis technique used is descriptive descriptive data analysis technique and descriptive statistical data analysis. Data obtained from the observation sheet is qualitative data and analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis technique. Data obtained from the learning result test were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis technique. The result of data analysis show teacher’s and student’s activity have been done very well in cycle II and weakness/deficiency that happened less from cycle I to cycle II. Implementation of PBL model enables students to observe and understand problems and can collect information related to problems given by teachers. The students 'mathematics learning outcomes also increased in UH I and UH II seen from the achievement of students' knowledge and skills and frequency distribution analysis. The results of this analysis indicate that the application of PBL model can improve the learning process and improve students' mathematics learning outcomes of students of grade VII8 SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in 2017/2018 academic year at Aritmetika Sosial form material.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract : This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase student mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research was student of class X Akuntansi SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru in second academic years 2018/2019, which are 30 students, consist of nine boys and 21 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research is observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets was analyzed by narrative descriptive analysis technique, and the students mathematic tests was analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis technique. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to UH-I and UH-II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (26,67%) to the first UH-I (56,67%) to the UH-II (93,33%) thus it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class X Akuntansi SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru in second academic years 2018/2019 for the linear program.Key Words: Students’ Mathematic Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the restrict of mathematics learning instruments as supporting learning referring to 2013 Curriculum. This research aimed to develop mathematics learning device that are Lesson Plan (LP) and Students Worksheet (SW) based curriculum 2013 in subject quadrilateral and triangle of seventh grade through problem based learning model. This research and development use 4-D development model by Thiagarajan which includes: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. At the stage of define, the researcher conducted a needs analysis as first-end analysis, analysis characteristic of students, concept analysis, assignment analysis and learning aim specification. Furthermore gather the necessary materials to design LP and SW. Learning device that had been developed then validated by three validators and revised based on the input from validators.The valid learning device then tested in two stages, the small group trial with subjects are 10 students of class VII6 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru and large group trial with subjects are 34 students of class VII5 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Based on the data analysis and discussion can be concluded that the LP and SW in quadrilateral and triangle subject of seventh grade through problem based learning model are valid with an average value for the LP is 3.53 and the average value for SW is 3.45, and SW is practical to use by learners class VII.Keywords: Mathematics Learning Instrument, Problem Based Learning Model, Quadrilateral and Triangle.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims improve the learning process and the student’s mathematical representation skill by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The subject were 36 students of class VII.1 SMPN 12 Pekanbaru. This study was conducted in the fisrt semester of academic year 2018/2019. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles and each of cycle has four stages: planning, implementation, observation, dan reflection. Data used in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments (Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Student Activity Sheets). Instruments for data collecting (Observation Sheets and Mathematical-Representation Tests). Techniques of data collection are observation and test. Data analysis techniques are descriptive narrative analysis and descriptive statistics analysis. The result showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had improved from implementation on cycle I. The result of this study showed that the implementation of Problem Based Learning improved student’s Mathematical Representation skill. The mean of the student’s learning achievement for the first cycle is 40.53 (low) which is 63.89 (moderate) had improved to 82.87 (high) in cycle II. This study concludes that the implementation of Prolem Based Learning model improved the learning process and improve the student’s mathematical representation skill at class VII.1 SMPN 12 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Problem based learning, mathematical representation skill, learning process

Abstract

The principal's supervisory competence provides a great influence on increasing teacher professionalism. This study aims to describe: (1) the competency of principals in developing academic supervision programs to improve teacher professionalism, (2) competency of principals in implementing or implementing academic supervision programs to improve teacher professionalism, and (3) competency of principals in giving action continued academic supervision results to improve teacher professionalism. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are used through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research subjects were principals, vice principals, teachers, and school supervisors at Suak Tapeh 3 Public High School. The results of the study showed that: (1) Head of SMP 3 Suak Tapeh had shown good supervision competence, especially in preparing academic supervision programs for teachers. (2) Head of SMP 3 Suak Tapeh had demonstrated good supervision competence, especially in implementing academic supervision programs. . (3) Supervision competence of the head of SMPN 3 Suak tapeh especially in following up the results of supervision is still lacking.

Abstract

Mangrove di Desa Latawe mengalami kerusakan yang begitu parah, masyarakat tidak memahami betapa pentingnya hutan mangrove. Perlu adanya pengkajian terkait persepsi dan faktor kerusakan mangrove di desa Latawe. Tujuan penelitian: (1). Untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat tentang keruskan ekosistem mangrove di wilayah pesisir Desa Latawe. (2). Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kerusakan ekosistem mangrove diwilayah pesisir Desa Latawe. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif deskripstif. Adapun hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa (1). Persepsi masyarakat tentang kondisi ekosistem hutan mangrove yang berada di pesisir pantai Desa Latawe terus mengalami kerusakan dan penyusutan pupulasi hutan mangrove karena dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat dalam berbagai kebutuhan seperti pemanfaatan hutan mangrove menjadi kayu bakar, pembuatan penangkap ikan, bahan bangunan. (2). Faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi sebagai menyebab kerusakan ekosistem hutan mangrove di wilayah pesisir Desa Latawe mencakup masih rendahnya tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, rendahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat yang rendah, kepedulian masyarakat yang rendah terhadap kelestarian lingkungan, tingginya tingkat konversi menjadi lahan tambak, pemanfaatan kawasan hutan menjadi lokasi pemukiman, dan perubahan pemanfaatan hutan mangrove menjadi komersial sebagai kayu bakar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan suatu penelitian yang mengkaji lebih dalam bagaimana proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan guru berdasarkan pengembangan kurikulum dan sistem penilaian pendidikan dasar yang telah diimplementasikan secara professional. Guru wajib menguasai delapan keterampilan dasar mengajar yaitu: 1) keterampilan bertanya/mengajukan pertanyaan, 2) keterampilan menjelaskan/menerangkan, 3) keterampilan membimbing kelompok kecil, 4) keterampilan mengelola kelas, 5) keterampilan memberikan penguatan, 6) keterampilan memberikan variasi, 7) keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran, dan 8) keterampilan mengadakan evaluasi. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mencoba untuk memberikan pemahaman keterampilan dasar mengajar bagi guru kelas di daerah Perbatasan dan keterampilan dasar mengajar yang masih belum tercapai dalam proses belajar mengajar di daerah perbatasan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif - deskriptif.Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari nilai keterampilan dasar mengajar guru kelas 1, 2 dan 3 di SDN 002 Sebatik Tengah. Hasil penelitian keterampilan dasar mengajar guru menyatakan rata-rata guru di daerah perbatasan khususnya di SDN 002 Sebatik Tengah belum terampil dalam menerapkan keterampilan dasar mengajar pada pembelajaran meliputi keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran, bertanya, menjelaskan, membimbing diskusi kelompok kecil, mengajar perorangan, mengelola kelas, memberi penguatan dan memberi variasi.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to repair process learning and improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade XII technological computer and networking in vocational high school nur ilham district of Pinggir by implementing Cooperative Learning Model STAD type. Subjects of the research were 18 students grade XII whohave the academic ability of the heterogenous. This research is aclasroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, the stages are planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed the activity of teachers and students have done well after doing the action. An increase in the number of students who achieved at UH KKM and of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve KKM on base score. Results of this research indicate that the application of Cooperatif Learning Model STAD Type can repair process learning and improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students grade XII technological computer and networking in vocational high school nur ilham district of pinggir in the fifth semester academic year 2013/2014.Key words : Process Learning, Mathematics Learning Outcome, Cooperative Learning, STAD, Classroom Action Research.
