Abstract

Tata kelola Teknologi Informasi (TI) merupakan suatu struktur dan proses yang saling berhubungan, mengarahkan dan mengendalikan pencapaian tujuan organisasi melalui penyeimbangan antara risiko dan manfaat dari teknologi informasi serta prosesnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis tingkat kapabilitas tata kelola TI yang berjalan di Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG). Pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini melibatkan 57 orang sebagai responden berdasarkan RACI Chart, dan wawancara berkaitan dengan proses tata kelola TI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kapabilitas proses tata kelola TI pada domain APO dan BAI berada pada level 3 yaitu established level. Ini menunjukan bahwa proses APO dan BAI sudah diterapkan, dikelola dan dipertahankan sesuai dengan standar yang ada. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah pihak manajemen kampus perlu membuat suatu kebijakan dalam perencanaan pengembangan, yaitu pengetahuan dan keterampilan personel dan pengguna aplikasi TI perlu terus ditingkatkan melalui training yang terjadwal secara rutin. Selain itu, komitmen pihak manajemen UNG terhadap penggunaan TI perlu ditingkatkan agar lebih peduli terhadap pemanfaatan TI di lingkungan UNG.

Abstract

Exploiting of information and communications technology (ICT) for attainment of purpose of organization, in this time have become an undoubtedly. In practice it, implementation ICT at one particular potency organization generate resistance to change of arising out in process of orthogonal transformation towards technological cultured change. This article arise concept of development of Faculty of Engineering Gorontalo State Univesity for the agenda of reaching technological cultured organization vision. In this case applied approach of model Kurt Lewin for identifying resistance available for emergence in the effort attainment of faculty vision. Model Kurt Lewin apply approach of analogis block ice (ice cube) by 3 (three) step in the mode of action. Conceptually, model Kurt Lewin can be made by alternative approach in reducing change resistance towards technological cultured faculty organization.

Abstract

Saat ini masalah sampah telah menjadi masalah serius bagi semua lapisan masyarakat termasuk pemerintah daerah. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh tingginya produktivitas manusia, pertambahan jumlah penduduk, dan ketersediaan ruang hidup manusia yang terbatas. Meningkatnya jumlah sampah yang dihasilkan dari hari-kehari dapat menimbulkan permasalahan yang serius, karena sampah sering terjadi tanpa disadari oleh penduduknya sendiri. Satu masalah dalam pengelolaan sampah adalah masalah pengangkutan sampah dari Tempat Pembuangan Sementara (TPS) ke Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengoptimalkan rute pengangkutan sampah di Kota Gorontalo.  Dalam penelitian, digunakan pendekatan Goal Programming untuk memformulasikan model dan mengoptimalkan rute dengan memperhatikan biaya, waktu, jarak, serta banyaknya pelanggan yang dapat terlayani.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rute pengangkutan sampah dapat dioptimalkan dengan pendekatan Goal Programming. Adapun rute optimal dari masing-masing komponen yaitu biaya, waktu, jarak, serta banyaknya pelanggan yang dapat terlayani diperoleh hasil yaitu: 16 rute dengan 131 node, total biaya bahan bakar keseluruhan kendaraan Rp. 1.648.000,  yang membutuhkan waktu 128 jam per hari. Setelah menggunakan Goal Programming, node yang dapat dikunjungi sebanyak 127 node dengan total biaya bahan bakar minimum sebesar 22,10% per hari dengan waktu tempuh perjalanan 11 jam dan total jarak tempuh keseluruhan kendaraan 240,43 KM.

Abstract

Institutions are currently progressing on IT development and maximization in order to advance for good IT governance. Lack of comprehensive requirements analysis of IT utilization may lead to hindrances within IT development from achieving effective outcomes. This quantitative study employs control objective for information & related technology (COBIT 5) business framework to assess and identify the maturity level of IT service, primarily within the domain of delivery, service, and support (DSS). Data were obtained through questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The result reveals that the average maturity level of IT service is in level 3 (established); by which the study recommends for enhancements and upgrades in IT performance and service within the scope of compliance and IT service application and support.

Abstract

Limboto Lake is one of the lakes in Gorontalo Province; its water supply is generated from 23 small and large rivers. The lake holds potential in several sectors, e.g., tourism, fisheries, socio-economy and culture. However, such an advantage has no quality information system as it is found that there are no particular services that manage the information regarding Limboto Lake accurately. The objective of this research is to create an information system for the management of the potential area of the lake to provide quality services to access the information accurately and completely. The provided information is also updated timely. This research employed the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method in the development of the information system. Furthermore, the data were collected from interview, observation, and reviewing literature and document. This system is tested using white box and black box where it generated the expected outcome and is web-based. The output of this research is a system that eases the society to access the information regarding the management of the potential area in Limboto Lake.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) is essential in supporting an organization's business sustainability and growth, making it critically dependent on IT. Therefore, a focus on IT governance, consisting of leadership, organizational structure, and process ensuring that IT organization supports and expands the organizational strategies and goals is required. When the business supports the strategic significance of IT investment, the implementation of an IT strategy will lead to the adoption of an IT governance model. It will support and help the description of the benefit roles and responsibilities from IT systems and infrastructure. This paper aims to develop a business process monitoring system to support IT governance in improving user service and measuring organizational performance. The research method was the system development method with the Waterfall model. To measure the performance of the business process, the self-assessment method with performance matrix tools was applied. The study resulted in a business process monitoring system that can enhance the organization’s primary business process in services, supporting the said organization’s performance.

Abstract

The basic subjects of graphic design at SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo are subjects that are in great demand by students. Therefore, in order to improve the learning outcomes of learners, it is necessary to make some innovations in learning. However, in reality most teachers are not used to using interactive learning media and the cost of interactive learning media that attracts quite expensive prices is one of the inhibiting factors in learning. Therefore, it is considered necessary to develop an innovative and interesting learning media to be able to help students in understanding the material learned amid the difficulty of teachers obtaining interactive learning media that supports the learning process. The research conducted aims to 1). Describes the steps to design interactive multimedia-based picture and picture model learning media, and 2). Knowing the feasibility of learning media multimedia-based interactive picture and picture models according to material experts, media experts and users (students). The method used in the research was reseach and development method with ADDIE model with the results of learning media feasibility test by material expert showed feasibility percentage of 97.5% with "very feasible" category, media feasibility result according to media expert showed feasibility percentage of 79.2%% with "very feasible" category, as well as service result in user response (student) of 94.5% and categorized as "very feasible". So that it can be concluded that Interactive Learning Media based on Multimedia by using Picture and Picture learning model is very feasible to be used in the learning process. Keywords: Interactive; Multimedia; Picture and Picture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui biaya minimum pendistribusian tabung LPG 3kg dengan metode North west Corner  dengan uji optimal Stepping Stone. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua Agen yaitu PT. Toyungo dan PT.Hasanah Inti Bumi Abadi . Adapun kegunaan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan dan memperbaiki sistem distribusi perusahaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah menggunakan model transportasi. Dari Hasil penelitian dan perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan biaya optimal antara perhitungan metode North west Corner dengan Uji Optimal Stepping Stone. Biaya minimum dengan metode North west Corner dengan uji optimal Stepping Stone pada distribusi tabung LPG 3kg menghasilkan biaya sebesar Rp. 1.196.442.640

Abstract

Upaya meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran yang menarik masih menjadi kendala dan tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh guru pada materi Logika dan Algoritma Komputer di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran komik untuk materi Logika dan Algoritma Komputer yang dapat menarik minat belajar siswa kelas X. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Hannafin dan Peck yang terdiri dari 3 fase, yaitu: analisis kebutuhan, desain, serta pengembangan dan implementasi. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah memperoleh penilaian oleh ahli materi, dan ahli media serta telah di uji respon dari siswa sebagai pengguna kelayakan dengan kategori kelayakan sangat layak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaran komik yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran materi Logika dan Algoritma Komputer. Efforts to increase students’ learning interests by developing an attractive learning media is the primary challenge for teachers of Logic and Computer Algorithm at SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa Senior High School. This research aims to develop comics as a learning medium for Logic and Computer Algorithm that may stimulate tenth-grade students’ learning interests. This R&D study, employing Hannafin and Peck’s development model, consisted of three stages, namely: needs assessment, design, and development and implementation. Material experts and media experts have assessed the developed learning media. It also has been tested on students as eligible users; they responded that the media was feasible. The research showed that comic as the developed learning media was declared as valid and practical to be used in Logic and Computer Algorithm subject’s learning process.

Abstract

Pengembangan sistem yang bersifat mobile telah menjadi tuntutan kepada perusahaan untuk dapat tetap kompetitif dalam melayani konsumen. Masalah yang dihadapi pihak PT. HAG selaku perusahaan penyedia layanan/jasa di bidang otomotif adalah belum tersedia layanan yang bersifat real-time yang dapat mengurangi waktu tunggu untuk servis kenderaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan suatu sistem informasi menggunakan platform berbasis Android untuk mengelola layanan servis mobil di PT HAG. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah model Waterfall. Untuk memastikan penggunaan aplikasi di sisi pengguna, digunakan pengujian System Usability Scale (SUS) terhadap sistem aplikasi yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem aplikasi berbasis android dapat menghasilkan data dan informasi servis mobil secara real time yang diperlukan oleh pelanggan. Hal ini dapat membantu perusahaan kepada peningkatan kualitas layanan servis mobil yang selama ini dijalankan pihak perusahaan, sekaligus sebagai strategi untuk perusahaan tetap kompetitif di tengah persaingan bisnis saat ini. The development of mobile systems has become a demand for companies to be able to remain competitive in serving consumers. The problems faced by pt. HAG as a service provider in the utomotive field is that there is no real-time service that can reduce the waiting time for vehicle service. The purpose of this research is to develop an information system using an Android-based platform to manage car service data services at PT HAG. The system development method used is the Waterfall model. To ensure the use of applications on the user side, System Usability Scale (SUS) testing of developed application systems is used. The results of this study show that android-based application systems can generate real-time car service data and information required by customers. This can help the company to improve the quality of car service services that have been run by the company, as well as a strategy for the company to remain competitive amid the current business competition.
